This is my second visit in the last couple of months. The food is nice, the coffee is excellent. The server was very friendly too. What I do not like is that you are being charged for paying card. I did not notice that in time and paid with card. I believe these charges are not acceptable , especially taking into consideration the prices. read more

A quaint hidden gem downtown. Only had breakfast thus far but you can't beat the atmosphere and the many Italian choices on the menu. We have had several meals and all were delicious. Don't pass this comfortable setting restaurant up. M&D read more

Great little Italian restaurant! The terrace is beautiful and perfect for a lunch. The restaurant is at the end of 5th ave so a bit of an hidden gem. It's really really busy so prepare to wait to get a seat. The salads are delicious like in Italy. I always take the prosciutto and burrata with fig and cheese and it's amazing. The view and atmosphere are perfect. An excellent little break during the week to disconnect from work. read more

Dolce & Salato don't want to miss breakfast brunch lunch only. Italian burned from Rome are the owners. Menu is a mixed variety of as mentioned breakfast lunch great espresso coffee. In same building as Bice restaurant on 3rd street side. Food is really at times worth the wait as it does get crowded and they'll be a wait for a table. It's not a big place but worth the wait and it dies t disappoint. Ciao read more

If I could it 0 stars I would This was my first visit to the establishment. My boyfriend heard about the sandwiches so we wanted to try it when we were down in Naples. We walked in on a fairly busy Saturday afternoon. Upon arriving, I noticed what appeared to be a sample basket of bread and olive oil dip. This was located next to the register near the deli counter. Having never been there before, and having visited similar establishments;. I assume this was a sample basket and took a small piece with some olive oil spread. As I walked through the deli, I was rudely approached by a employee who appeared to be either the owner or manager. He asked me where I got the bread and I said I had taken it from the basket that was sitting on the counter near the register. He stated that the basket of bread was for the tables and that I had no business helping myself. I immediately apologize and explained to the person that it appeared to be a sample basket. There was only one on the counter, and there was only a couple pieces in it so I assumed it was a sample basket. I said "I am sorry" , to which he replied "well you should be". I made an honest mistake and apologized for it . This man was extremely rude. My boyfriend and I promptly left after telling him how very rude he was. WE WILL NOT BE BACK ! Absolutely NO customer service read more

Delicious! Morning coffee and breakfast was fantastic! So good, in fact, I'm heading back to place a to-go order for sandwiches to serve my guests this week. Both Natasha and Augo are super nice and their staff is as well. Very friendly local restaurant to spend breakfast or lunch on the lanai, people watching as they walk by. read more

Great food, but the woman who owns it is absolutely rude! I don't know what her problem is, but she needs to change her attitude. After telling a few friends what happened, they verified that she and her partner are both lacking in people skills. Too many other great places to bother with their lack of respect. read more

Should have left from the get go. I had to search out someone to seat us and get up and walk over to him to get a check. There was an extra charge on the bill for using a credit card. We ordered a bruschetta and chicken pesto sandwich. Bruschetta was filled with tomatoes but bland. The sandwich barely had any pesto on it and the chicken was boiled so again very bland. Will not go back. Get rid of the attitude read more

Always fresh! Great service! This is a hidden gem in downtown Naples. Their sandwiches are by far the best in town. The bread is ALWAYS fresh baked daily. After eating a meal here, you won't feel lazy or slow. Good clean ingredients and great service. read more

Great food, ambiance, and service. The outdoor patio is very charming. The combo with half salad half sandwich was perfect.

One of our favorite spots, service and food are always outstanding. Highly recommend their bacon egg and provolone croissant for breakfast.

This is my favorite lunch spot. I love the feeling of this space, it's like stepping out of Florida. The sandwiches are to die for. The owner is always there, busting her butt. I could eat here daily. read more

Our to-go sandwiches were packed with the salad also in the container so were all soggy. Yuck! Did not provide utensils for salad or napkins. And got 3 of the 10 orders totally wrong then were very rude when we called about it. A shame since our last experience was good food. Not sure our group will go back read more

I think I fell in love with this quaint cafe. Seems family owned, cute porch with seating out front, several guys inside speaking Italian and the most perfect little menu that was made for us to find. Started with a bottle of sparkling water. We got a cute colander with delicious breads to snack on. My salad was everything and more. I picked the half size which was the best choice for me, the super fresh baby arugula, crispy prosciutto, mozzarella, tomatoes, almonds, shaved parm and a lemon dressing. It was so refreshing yet filling at the same time. Holly got the Antipasto platter and we shared this delicious bread with arugula & cheese, needed a touch more salt..but I'm not complaining. Of course I was not leaving before dessert! We shared the almond cheesecake and lemon tart. Both absolutely tasty. Our server was pleasant, the owner did not rush us, and let us hang on the porch for a bit waiting on the downpour of rain to fade. I'll be back!! read more

Great authentic Italian restaurant in Olde Naples off of 5th Ave. Great menu with lots of vegetarian options. Owners are truly Italian. I wish it was open for dinner too. The pastries are to die for, everything is hand made to order. A great overall restaurant. read more

Great "neighborhood" breakfast and lunch place. The closest thing to eating in "South Philly" or a Italian deli in New York you'll find in Naples. The sandwiches are to die for and they let you create your own "hoagie". Gets very crowded for lunch in season. They have beer and wine and you can BYOB for a reasonable corkage fee. Natasha is a sweetheart read more

There is nothing more to say expect fantastic, fabulous, flavorful, delectable, savory , amazing delicious! The list can go on and on ! An absolute must every time I am in Naples. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and greet all guest with a smile . The dishes transport you straight back to Italy! They are light and savory , fresh and everything off the menu is homemade. There is pretty outside sitting along the side with a good amount of tables inside . You may have to wait to be seated especially in season but trust me it is worth the wait ! read more

Yes..a hidden gem. Great hot breakfast (croissant with egg, bacon and cheese) along with a cappuccino and an espresso. Seems like a gathering spot for locals and those lucky enough to find their way. You can't buy couth . Sophie the small little runt snippety dog at the table next to us should not have been sitting on the chair reaching over to paw the table. Staff looked but were hesitant to say anything. Those ladies and one "guy" should have had better manners to put the dog on their lap or on the ground but the next person coming along sure doesn't want to sit in dog hair. read more

I have lived in Wilton Manors for years and have come here for pizza many times. Tonight, I ordered an affogato and was very disappointed with the service. The server refused to put it in a glass and gave me a to-go cup instead. I won't be visiting this rude establishment again. The affogato and service at D'Liras and Wilton Creamery are much better. read more

This place deserves credit and more. Absoutley to die for if you like Italain. We had an amazing lunch at Dolce & Salato, located directly behind Bice on 3rd / 5th ave. Ambiance was amazing, the owner cooked and served us. Very personable guy. I got the beef carpaccio for the app. For entree the organic chicken with fresh motz, roasted red & orange peppers (subsituted glazed balsamic instead of tomato sauce). The bread for FL was delicious. My chick got the the red quinoa salad with diced organic chicken, mixed greens, olives, etc. The fresh motz was so good. Add on: Italian market inside, and they have this dope coconut salt scrub to wash your hands with. Say what you want...this place was quiet, elogant, and with my Italian background 100% authentic. Nestled in a quiet corner of downtown Naples, As we walked in the colors and decor resembled something out of Positano Italy. Not that I've been there yet but seen pictures. This breakfast and lunch spot offers authentic Italian cuisine. Everything from salads, sandwiches, antipasto. An amazing selection that will tantalize anyone's taste buds. My lunch consisted of the Spinach and beet salad. Organic Baby Spinach with Goat Cheese, Red Beets, Green Apples & Walnuts in Balsamic Dressing. accompanied by their prosciutto Di Parma sandwich. Prosciutto di Parma, Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Pesto Dressing. It was...... forget about it!!!!! Delicious. My daughter have the pesto chicken sandwich and my son in law had the Watermelon salad. I understand they get their French baguette bread shipped directly from France. I spoke to one of the owners Natasha and commended her on the food and hospitality. I gave them a 4 out of 5 for our great experience. As always thank you for reading my review. read more

Very cute, authentic Italian place. I ordered a panino with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto di Parma and pesto. It was served on a homemade baguette that was incredible! The baguette exceeded my expectations! The sandwich was pretty big and came with a side salad and chips. Delicious lunch! My only suggestion would be for staff to offer more guidance when one walks in. I didn't know that one could dine-in there until I placed my order at the counter. It was only when the gentleman asked if it was "to go" did I realize I could eat there. This could have been avoided had someone asked me when I walked in if I needed a table. Overall: great experience. I would definitely recommend Dolce & Salato. read more

I was supper excited to go to this spot especially after living in Italy my daughter raved about it. We arrived and were greeted friendly placed at a table of our choice. Served fresh bread I ordered the mimosa with fresh OJ, and a frittata ham & Brie my daughter ordered iced cappuccino & the avocado toast. So far so good drinks great friendly server. The food arrives my frittata is fine nothing extraordinary the avocado toast that was over $15 had barely any avocado the main ingredient it was covered with tomatoes and feta but barely any avocado. I politely stopped the Italian lady she looked like she could be the right person. I kindly advised her the avocado toast barely had any avocado and she responded "That's the way we make it! None of my customer complain" instead of just saying oh I'm sorry let's just fix that but the worst part was that she said it so loudly everyone looked at us she embarrassed me and my daughter. I completely lost my appetite and stopped eating and enjoying myself. I am sure she probably regretted the way she responded so loudly that she brought over a stool placed a plate with two slices of avocado and some on balsamic glaze. The damage was done! Seriously an avocado cost $1 the most $1.25 avocado toast was $15 she could've just politely had had it corrected or even brought more avocado, without making such a scene. I think they just may have been off this morning because the table next to us didn't get their order right at all and then she made it scene so it just made them look like they were not in great form this morning. I'm not trying to damage the integrity of this location because their sandwiches I have been told are amazing but their service this morning was not their best!!! Regardless, you don't embarrass your customer for asking for a correction. I left hungry and insulted read more

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Get a seat outside on the covered patio. Nice ambience, the owner and his wife are lovely! When you're beaching in Naples, it's probably best to pack a lunch. That being said, we were not that prepared and needed to grab some food nearby stat. I turned to my trusty Yelp app and found Dolce & Salato to be about a 7 minute walk away. Their sandwiches and salads seemed like a good bet for a takeaway meal. I called in our order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. The menu is full of Italian delicacies and the place certainly radiates an authentic taste of Italy. Trying to keep healthy and all that jazz, I opted for a the red quinoa salad with diced grilled chicken, mixed greens, olives, tomatoes, basil and mozzarella. It also came with two pieces of their amazing focaccia bread with olive oil and pure balsamic vinegar dressing (not so healthy but very delicious). The salad tasted fresh, flavorful, and was very filling, validating the $17 price tag. My better half ordered one of their grilled chicken sandwiches with goat cheese, avocado, tomato and arugula, which also came with a side salad and bag of chips. It was pretty big and something I would normally share, but he ate it all! This was $16. As you can see, it wasn't the cheapest beach lunch, but we got our money's worth and it definitely beat grabbing a slice of pizza on the pier. If you eat at the restaurant, there is a nice patio which was buzzing with people, as well as some seats inside. I would definitely go back the next time I venture to Naples! It's hidden off the side of busy 5th Ave so you may miss it if you aren't looking! read more

We have eaten here on several occasions and recently went in twice in the last few weeks and both times the owner was as rude as can be. Awesome spot for breakfast or lunch. Can't say enough about the staff and the food. My son ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. He opened it to look inside as he didn't think there was much bacon (couple pieces on top and more cooked inside the eggs). The owner saw him looking at it and came over to ask if everything was ok. Told him if it wasn't what he thought he'd make him something else. No need he loved it, and I love an attentive owner who cares about the customer. Sandwiches were huge and I ordered the daily lasagna which was awesome. They asked if we wanted dessert, which we did not order. They proceeded to bring us a plate with chocolate cookies and mini biscottis. Also, the bread with the sun dried tomato/olive oil mixture kicked things off. Couldn't ask for a better experience. read more

Excellent! Visited this place for lunch & it was impressive! The service was more than impressive. Quick, pleasant & very friendly! The food was DELICIOUS! Belissimo, fantastico, abondanza. The little piece of Italy is not to be missed. We both had the lasagna and it was magnifico. I had lunch here with my Mom a few days ago. The food was pretty good and the portions were huge but the service was really slow. As far as experience, It was a little annoying that they took the initiative to put a statement on their menu that they serve small portions to discourage sharing, and ask patrons to 'be respectful and order their own plate' and that sharing charges will apply, only to be served a massive portion that I couldn't even eat half of. It's not that we even wanted to share, I just found that to be a bit distasteful. read more

Wish I could give it ZERO stars. Good food and table service. Problem was the bill. SIX DOLLARS for a CAN of Coke. When questioned the owners that that night be a mistake we got a VERY RUDE response with a question to us --"arent you aware there's inflation?" I understand the need to make a profit but, NOWHERE, not even Sails, is charging $6 for that. So, a 6 pack of Coke is $36??????? Stay away. Too many great places here that appreciate your business.
