We are so pleased with our engineered hardwood floors installed by LJ's Flooring. First of all,…read moreLuis saved us from the first contractor that we hired, and he helped us get the flooring that we had already paid for when our original contractor went out of business. His team did major work to level our uneven floors, and install flooring and new baseboards throughout our house in 4 days. The crew was prompt, experienced, worked in a clean manner, and did a final cleaning after the floors were completely installed. We were so impressed with Luis' communication and oversight before, during, and after the project. He was always available when we called or texted, and he was on site every day as the project progressed. He kept us in the loop regarding additional materials that were needed and asked our opinion on stylistic choices on the baseboards. We felt he was very upfront, honest, and fair. We got 3 quotes for flooring installation. The pricing was fairly comparable between all 3, and LJ's was in the middle. The thing that stood out was that while the other 2 companies sent salespeople out to take measurements and provide us a quote, Luis was able to point out certain areas that would need special attention and ask specific questions that showed he was experienced in knowledgeable in actually installing flooring - much more than just a salesperson. We felt very confident hiring him after walking our house with him and having him point out things that the other 2 companies had never mentioned. We love, love, love our new floors and will absolutely hire LJ's Flooring again when we update our kitchen and bathrooms.

It was a very reasonable cost (two other quotes I got were significantly more). My discussion with him indicated he clearly understood what I wanted and issues with changing the color. In a couple of weeks, his guys came out and pressure washed everything. We then had to wait a couple more weeks due to weather. Three guys came out on Monday and completed the masking and started painting - they used a combination of spray, roller and brush - two coats to cover the dark brown. They completed the job in a day and a half. The guys worked hard, were easy to talk to, and did a couple of minor things at my request. My wife and I are very pleased with the final product. Would highly recommend Rock Painting and Gutters - Good Communication, Good Price, easy to talk to, met commitments, resulting in an EXCELLENT JOB.

I am one very happy customer!…read more This project had been in the works for months as I gathered everything I needed to set up my dream TV mount. Finding the right handyman was tough, but Joseph stood out right away when he answered my ad. He was professional from the start and even told me I wouldn't need to pay until the job was completely done. Despite today's thunderstorm, he showed up on time and dedicated himself to the project. I purchased the Samsung 60" DU7200 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) and paired it with the Best Buy Essentials™ Full Motion Wall Mount for 47-84" TVs. Joseph handled the entire installation with ease -- I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing, step by step. He even installed my Govee Dreamview TV Strip Lights and made sure the final touches were perfect. Once mounted, he double-checked that the TV was straight, organized all my wires neatly, and even provided a 6-month warranty in case I had any questions or issues. Hopefully, my photos do it justice. I'm beyond happy with how this project turned out. I will definitely take him into consideration for upcoming projects -- highly recommend Joseph for anyone needing a trustworthy, skilled handyman!
