Everyone was professional, warm, and so helpful without making me feel bad. I walked in and someone immediately asked how they could help, heard me out, and directed me to Manny. Manny patiently downloaded and updated the filmware for my Fujifilm body and lens, and explained the steps to me. He also took the time to wipe down the sensor with an alcohol wipe before coming to the conclusion that the lens would have to be sent into Fujifilm for repair ($25 for round-trip shipping, repair price TBD, about 2 weeks turnaround). He also let me know that my other lens is a little loose, and showed me a new one for comparison. If I sent both in for repair, it would still be $25 for both. He didn't press any services on me, but I asked about lens rental, and he told me that I could get a discount on the lens rental with my repair slip. Amazing! He also gently advised me to take a picture of my repair slip in case I lose it. Manny also patiently walked me through buying an affordable film (fuji 400 for $12) and loading it for me in my Leica/Minolta that I don't know how to use; a friend had loaded it for me last time incorrectly and I wanted to make sure it would be correct this time. They don't develop film here, but he gave me a card for a recommendation. While he was ringing me up for my film purchase, another employee slid me two green Foto Care sharpies. I know there are other camera stores in the city, but I'm totally sold on the excellent customer service; I felt very well taken care of, and I will definitely be back.

Bobby retrieves them on his end and gives you a choice of matte, glossy and luster. He shows you samples if you're unsure of what you want. I waited about 15 minutes and the prints were ready. Again, the process was super easy. I'm sure if you submit the upload ahead of time before going there you may not have to wait as long. Side note, everyone else there was printing headshots and resumes. They were all actors. This place is popular for headshots. I would recommend this place for all photo printing. They seem to do a better job…read morethan their competitors at color correction, they're right in Midtown, and they offer prints for only $3 more, which encourages me to keep physical copies of my work. If I recall, you get a TIFF for the price rather than it being an upcharge from JPEG as is done elsewhere. They have gone out of their way to be helpful on multiple occasions - for example I've asked them basic questions, such as "why is this image underexposed" and they've stopped to patiently explain, despite being busy with other work.
