Wow, wow and wow. After celebrating my in-laws getting Baptized we decided on some Irish food I'll start with the service! My mother-in-law has made reservations for 1pm. On a Sunday after church you never know. We should up closer to 12:15 starving and the accommodated us immediately! Food was fresh, delicious and the beer was cold! Server was great and loved the atmosphere Everyone was stuffed and we couldn't get dessert . We'll have to come back!

Had an opportunity to dine-in, so I wanted to add to my previous review. The food was good, but the burger we ordered the first star was definitely the star of the show. Upon entering around 4:30pm on a Friday, we were asked if we had a reservation (not, "Hello, welcome in. Have you dined with us before?"). We stated that we didn't have a reservation, they informed us that they could seat us. However, they made a point to ask if we would be done by 6:00, as they had a reservation for that table at that time. We assured them that we would be done in plenty of time for the reservation, assuming our food arrived in a timely manner. After being seated, we felt somewhat rushed to place our order, but tried to be understanding. Our server was fine, not at all rude but also not especially friendly. Our food arrived quickly, and everything tasted good. Upon exiting, not a single staff member thanked us, asked how our meal or experience was, or even acknowledged us at all....even though there were 3 at the host stand directly by the door.

Just opened right after St. Patty's Day. What a hit here in Pittsboro. Great addition to the many eateries we have in this small town. Excellent service from the moment you walk in to ordering your food. Two level restaurant, outdoor seating, belly- up bar, and dining area lower level. Upper level , outdoor rooftop seating, inside dining area, and also another bar. The stairway going up and down has a very sturdy handrail. Just in case you have a few too many on the roof top. My meal was delicious, both my wife and I had the Braised Brisket Melt Sandwich. Can't say enough on how good it was. Perfect to my liking and hers. If you are in Pittsboro, I would recommend this restaurant as a place to go.

Very friendly service at the dark wood upstairs bar and very good food. The Dublin Spice Bag is definitely worth a try while it's available. The mix of fries, habanero marinated chicken with curry and sweet thai chili sauce is more spicy sweet than hot, but that was easy to fix with some sriracha.

We got the sampler with cappies, fried pickles, poppers and mac bites, that was amazing, I don't know what the mustard sauce on the plate was but you'll want to eat it on everything! For dinner we got the Rueben (menu said "Raleigh's finest", and they would be CORRECT!) and the St. Patrick with smashed potatoes, everything was amazing! We also got a couple of Guinness and black window ciders, the bill was significantly cheaper than we thought it'd be. Our server was nice and attentive, the atmosphere was comfortable, the lighting was dim (like you'd expect in a tavern) and they had live music near the front door, we loved the vibe and almost went again for dinner the next night lol Definitely gonna be stopping by next time we're in Raleigh!

From the warm greeting to the thoughtful service from our hostess, Jennifer, and sommeliers Julianne Thompson and Kailin Solomons, every detail made us feel welcome. Connie was presented with a menu wishing her a happy birthday--a lovely personal touch. We chose the four-course prix fixe menu with classic wine pairings. With three options for each course, the sommeliers selected wines to complement the dishes we chose, and the pairings made the meal even more special. The cuisine was wonderful, and the service tied the entire evening together. The restaurant's Michelin recognition--and the inn's Michelin Key--make this a remarkable destination, but it's the whole experience that made it our new favorite restaurant. We're already looking forward to returning.

We arrived a little early so we could spend some time walking around the beautiful grounds and gardens. When it was time for tea, we were promptly seated in an intimate dining room with just a few other tables and a large fireplace with a crackling fire. It was a wonderful setting. Everything about Fearrington House reminded me of the formal dining experiences of years ago. The servers wore jackets, vests, and ties, the tables were covered with white tablecloths and napkins, and there was a great deal of attention paid to every detail, especially the presentation. It's the kind of dining experience you don't come across very often anymore. Our server greeted us, explained how afternoon tea worked, and took our tea orders. One of my friends has food allergies, and I was particularly impressed with how they accommodated her. They brought out a separate tower that was every bit as beautifully presented as ours, but carefully prepared without the ingredients she needed to avoid. It was nice to see that she didn't have to miss out on any part of the experience. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere. It was one of those experiences where everything just seemed to come together perfectly. I'd love to return to Fearrington House for dinner sometime. If their afternoon tea is any indication, I suspect dinner would be quite an experience!

Looking for authentic Irish pub vibes in North Carolina? Trali Irish Pub absolutely delivers!…read more I had to order the Shepherd's Pie, and it did not disappoint. Rich, slow-cooked beef stew topped with a beautifully swirled layer of creamy mashed potatoes--it was the ultimate comfort food. To pair with it, I enjoyed "The First Squeeze," a refreshing wheat beer from a local North Carolina brewery that complemented the meal perfectly. I planned to skip dessert...but then I spotted the Baileys Cheesecake on the menu. Resistance was futile, and I'm so glad I gave in! It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. With its warm, authentic Irish atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food, Trali Irish Pub is definitely worth a visit. Sláinte!

I needed a nosh before a meeting and who doesn't love an Irish Pub?…read more This was my first time visiting Trali and won't be my last. It was about 6pm and the dining room was about half full, but everyone seemed in good spirits and many were watching the World Cup. The hostess sat me at a table near the entrance and facing the bar, I had a book with me to catch up on and planned to read a bit. Within a few minutes, the server came around, showed me the beer list and asked if I wanted anything else. When she returned, she saw that I had a book and very attentively asked if I would like to be moved to a quieter table... yes please! She mentioned that a 16 top was due any minute and they'd be taking up the large bar top in the center of the room, and it'd probably get pretty loud. She then talked with the hostess, and they moved me into, the library, of all rooms... how apropos... It's literally adjacent to the open bar area, but walled off and with a definite library vibe. I was sat in a corner table and with perfect ambiance. Looking over the menu, I couldn't really decide on a dish, but I wanted something more traditional Irish. I finally chose the Boxty potatoes topped with corned beef and it was a perfect portion. Everything came out to the table quickly, perfectly hot, and portioned well. I loved the mix of flavors and textured from the baked mashed potato to the shredded corned beef, and finished every single bite. I finished two chapters of my book and was pleased to see another patron in that room also reading. All in all, a night well spent and will definitely return when I'm in the area.

When we ordered, the items weren't read back to us, and unfortunately, the order did come out incorrectly. The drinks definitely a highlight! They were well-made and didn't skim on the alcohol. The meal was perfectly fine, but nothing particularly stood out as spectacular. It's solid pub fare if you're looking for a casual bite. Overall, McCoul's is a decent spot for a strong drink and a cozy, dim atmosphere. I'd love to see a bit more attentiveness on the floor, but it's still a place worth stopping by if you're in downtown Greensboro.
