If you have a large dog you probably wouldn't mind this place but if you have a small dog good luck. Small dogs are paid no attention. Never outside. I've watched my dog for the past 2 days get bumped and pestered by another small dog and no one has been in the room and no one answers the phone. The concept of no cages is great but only if there is supervision which this place lacks. read more

Missing this place so much now that we have moved. They took the best care of our Pup and truly worked with her and made a great relationship with my dog. Their 24/7 business model is amazing and their grooming services are top tier. Your dog will be well taken care of here. read more

We took our dog for an evaluation on what we were told was a slow day since he can be overly hyper. While he was there, we watched on camera the entire time. One worker completely ignored our dog anytime he came near her with the other dogs, she actually turned her back to him and kept petting/playing with the others. After a couple hours they called us to say he passed and we could pick him up. We went in and decided to sign up for a package while the front desk girl went to get him. She returned with him and told us he just failed because of how he acted while they were trying to leash him up. He's a fairly large dog, still puppy-ish, and jumps around and gets crazy when the leash comes out. They took that as aggression and failed him. I asked to speak with a manager and no one ever contacted me. They have even deleted my comments on their Facebook! Definitely dishonest and shady. I would never trust them with one of my babies. read more

We went through a fear stage with our shepherd which we have never experienced with our other dog. They were able to help us through this stage and help find what works for him and to over come things that were an issue. He use to pull on the leash and now we can walk nicely on a leash on one side. Any questions or concerns we had or have they were able to answer and help with. We see a big difference in our dog vs when we first enrolled him into training. They teach you to train your dog, so you know what you need to do. We worked with Kyla and she was great. We are currently in group classes and Kyle, Kyla, and Brian have all been great. The group classes have really helped with dog reactivity and working around distractions. They are all patient and very knowledgeable, especially with our working breed shepherd. I highly recommend this place and we will continue to go here with any future pup.

This past year I've expressed my concern for her weight loss, loss of appetite, throwing up a couple time a week, and reoccurring uti infections. I notice a lump on her throat a couple months ago and they tested her. They said the test has come back inconclusive. I feel they showed no concern for the lump and even told me at a following appointment that she looks great, her weight loss was good and they thought her lump had shrunk. My intuition told me something was wrong! A huge lump on the throat and major weight loss are alarming signs. Still concerned, I sought out a second opinion from another vet. This vet was immediately concerned with the lump. Within 24 hours this new vet was able to tell me the horrible truth. My dog has thyroid cancer and it's too late to save her. She only has a few months left to live. Our family is crushed and angry. I feel this practice has scammed my family and didn't care about our pet's health. I feel they only care about money. They wasted my time and money and made my dog suffer. My dog is dying and my family is heartbroken. This practice is very unprofessional and negligent. I feel Dixie Vet saw my pet as their "cash cow" because we have taken her in so much. They put my dog's life at risk and cost our family thousands of dollars in unnecessary treatments. I feel they only cared about making money off of my dog's suffering. My dog has been suffering and my family is heartbroken.

I started as a foster with PORT in their early days of conception and fostered with them for…read moreseveral months before they decided to completely ghost me. I ran into a situation where I needed some work done at my home, and I could not continue to foster the FOURTEEN foster pets that I had through them at the time. Rather than work with me, help me, and have empathy for my situation, I experienced a lot of pushback, and negative reactions to needing a break from fostering. My phone calls and texts were not being returned. When they were returned, I was met with attitude and a complete lack of understanding or compassion. After much resistance, they finally took the fosters back. They don't supply their fosters with food or supplies as they claim. Not once was I given any supplies for the dozens of animals that I fostered through them, even when I expressed that the puppies I was fostering were going through more food than I could manage. They also don't spay and neuter most of their animals before adoption. Now that I am back in my home, neither Regan, nor Jaime, (the founders of PORT), will return my messages asking about the well-being of my former fosters. If you bend over and break your back for them, you'll be great. But God forbid life happens and you find yourself unable to help, because you then mean NOTHING to them. Proceed with caution should you decide to do any sort of business with PORT. Don't expect a lot of help. Definitely don't expect compassion and empathy when life happens. Edit in response to PORT's reply: Port requires a minimum of 5 days notice for return, except in cases of emergency. I had an emergency. I explained this to you guys over and over and over again and your response was, "that must be tough." I had a dog through you that was being aggressive with a child. But you guys didn't consider a threat to someone's safety an emergency and were of no help. In some cases, I waited more than 5 days for you to help; I waited literally weeks! Not to mention that that dog was pregnant, and when I took her, you never advised me that that was a possibility. So I ended up with eight puppies, when I agreed to one. It was never "clear to you" that our foster relationship had come to its conclusion and that I wished to step away. I quite literally told you that once I was back in my home, I would take the animals back if they still needed placement. I notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the puppies. You did not take them until July 18th, and that was only after I showed up to get their shots and microchips, and had to PLEAD with you to help me. I notified both of you that Rusty was a safety risk, and you literally did not care. Even after notifying you of the unsafe circumstances, it took you two days to take her, and that was only after I refused to give you any more leeway. That was also after I had notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the animals that I had. You did not take Rusty back until July 31st. I let you know on July 28th that I was having trouble getting the kittens adopted. I notified you on August 4th that we needed to move the kittens. You did not take them until August 15th. As for the spay/neuter, it's irresponsible for a rescue not to spay and neuter before adoption, regardless of any contract. I also asked, several times, about getting my fosters fixed, and you never followed through. Don't gaslight me. You did enough of that when I was actually fostering with you.

I have been using Dogtown for daycare and have also used them for boarding. All the staff are so kind to the dogs. The webcams give me an extra feeling of security knowing I can get online and check in on my pup anytime I want to. The prices are comparable to other kennels but I really like the kennel free atmosphere. read more

I came in to get some information to board my dog, the staff are very friendly. The prices are not comparable to the area, however the dogs do not go in kennels at night. We love the thought of our dog not being crated. The place smells good, is semi noisy but as to be expected since it's a daycare! read more
