Before that, we enjoyed dog parks and meeting other dogs and their owners on our daily walks. She became aggressive during puberty. The Vet said let's wait to see what happens after the spay. Jade got more aggressive, not less. Desiree is a dog whisperer. When we met at our consultation, Desire walked into my backyard, and Jade snarled and bounded across toward her. I almost fainted watching my huge dog running toward her. Desiree did her trainer thing, and Jade completely relaxed. I watched Jade become putty in her hands within minutes, and I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. The training was detailed and extensive. My dog responds to me when I call her with a quiet "hey" when she starts to play with my cats or go towards the kitchen. She places in the house even when guests arrive, or someone rings the doorbell. Her PICA (eating non-food items) is almost completely gone. ( Jade is s/p a life-threatening bowel obstruction after eating a towel) She went to the dog park and played with a Golden until her energy was spent a few days ago. I can play with her off-leash and have confidence in my abilities to communicate with her. A couple of weeks after the training, Jade all of sudden began to be triggered by the satellite dishes and telephone polls on our walks. Well, you can imagine how difficult it became with aggressive barking and then refusal to move. I called Desiree, and she drove the 20 miles to my house immediately. She offered some recommendations, which I applied right away and I could see that the initial onslaught of fear dissipated over a couple of weeks. The 15 yr old did very well and Christina was a doting pseudo mom and made sure she got up every few hours to exercise her aching joints and when we went to pick her up she was ready to go back into the kennel to stay more nights. The 12 yr old girl was able to do all day play until she was tuckered out. I highly recommend Bark Park for boarding and we even had the girls professionally bathed for the first time in their lives and they came home fluffy and smelling so good! When I had difficulty getting him to my ca after the surgery she helped walk Rio to the car and got him in. Few times that we were not able to come to daycare for few weeks, upon return Silver would get on her knees to greet and hug Rio (her velcro dog). It is telling to see him love her so much and her so excited to see her too. Similarly Abby has been fantastic at the front desk, greeting dog parents as they come in, remembering dogs names. When there are additional charges for grooming she calls before processing payment. Their love for pets is clearly shown as Rio gets so excited few miles before we arrive and even though he is not supposed to pull he is very eager to get to see his friends and the staff.

We still need the knowledge when there are other not so behaved dogs that we are able to handle the situation. I cannot say enough about Gabby, her patience, her knowledge and dedication to the dog and human are beyond just training. We sent…read moreour 4 month puppy to Gabby for a board and train to address fearful reactivity and aggression. We now realize that we should have asked for more specifics, but we were focused on training and it didn't cross our minds that inhumane living conditions might be an issue. Updates via text indicated the training was helping. When we set up a call to plan for the the transition home, because my parents would need to handle her alone soon after, Gabby told us not to overthink it. But when we met for the return home hand-off, it became clear that we had made a horrible mistake in trusting Gabby. We watched her lift our puppy by the neck with a slip lead into her car. She casually mentioned that it had taken her a while to learn the difference between our puppy's screams for "I want out of the crate" v. "I need water" or "I need to pee". When our puppy got home, she slept near her water bowl for several days, sometimes resting her head on it - something we had never seen before. She was 7 lbs when she was handed to Gabby, and 6 lb 4 oz when she got home. Gabby had switched her to food that is specifically not recommended for puppies. We could feel every vertebrae in her spine and she moved awkwardly, like she hadn't walked or stretched regularly. She had also made no progress on reactivity at home, and we had to make an emergency call to Gabby to take her back for a couple days, because the plan we had in place for transition fell wildly short of what was needed. When Gabby came to pick her up, our puppy cowered and hid. Gabby lifted her by the neck with the slip lead again. We got her home as soon as possible, and are now working with a behaviorist to overcome the original issues, plus the added fear and anxiety from her time with Gabby. When we contacted Gabby with our concerns, she stood by her actions. Our hearts hurt for our puppy and any other dogs she has treated inhumanely.

They are my very best friends and they are treated completely equal to any other family member. They bring us so much joy and happiness that it is hard to fully put into words. That being said I went through 4 other potentially dog sitters before I found Elizabeth. I am thorough! I do not just dump my fur babies and leave i thoroughly checked Elizabeth's business out and made sure that all conditions were up to my standards! My dogs 2 very small dogs are accustomed to a 1.5 mile walk, once in the morning and once at night and at least a 1 hour dog park trip every single day so i had to make sure that Elizabeth could accommodate their active lifestyles! All of my expectations and desires were met and exceeded! She takes the dogs to the dog park twice a day and all the dogs that she brings around she makes she they are well socialized enough to interact safety with even my 6LB toy poodle! She follows my feeding instructions to the letter and is constantly sending me updates on how they are doing and pictures of them both day and night! Elizabeth is also SO easily to contact and communicate with! She always responds so quickly and even has no problem meeting me wherever she is at in her day to get my dogs! Elizabeth's Dog Sitting is the only person my family trusts to leave our fur babies with and it is such a huge relief to not have to worry about our babies because we know they are in great hands!
