The vet was willing to fill the meds for pick-up at the clinic, but I declined due to availability and pricing elsewhere. I had the vendor I chose fax in the request with no response from the vet office. I called the vet and was told they never received a fax, so I had the prescription request sent again. With no response I called the vet office again and was told their fax machine was out of toner so they were not receiving faxes. I asked for a phone approval as my dog is on a time sensitive medication. The vendor I chose to fill the medicines attempted to call the vet office and authorization was not given. I called the vet office and asked what was going on and was told the heart worm preventive medicine was not one the vet office uses so they would not authorize the request. For the record the medicine I chose was the generic for heart guard. In regards to the time sensitive medicine, I was told my dog needed a blood test for this medicine. Keep in mind when I scheduled the appointment, I told the office I needed this medicine filled, we talked about it during the visit, blood was taken, and meds were offered onsite for much higher. Three days after I visited the vet and spent $435 on three dogs, I received a certified letter in the mail indicating they would no longer provide care for my dogs. I inquired why and was told because one of my dogs growled and showed his teeth when the unsuaul practice for examining dogs took place required that dog to be muzzled. For minds wondering, this dog is an 11 year old border collie lab mix that has never been agressive before this experience. In all honesty I could have swallowed "we don't want to treat this dog going forward", but to not fill reputable medicines after paying for exams and having testing done is unethical. I also received the medical records for the dogs, and the records clearly indicate they received the medication faxes the day they were sent. This vet should have retired years ago, has horrible bedside manner, and will only work with you on medications if you have his clinic fill the medications. Steer clear of this vet and treat your fur children elsewhere!

I have a picky puppy and a picky old cat when it comes to food, and they have given me plenty of samples to try for each of them - thankfully! My cat *attempted* to try 8 different samples, and only like the 9th one (of course). My puppy on the other hand, who is a little over one year old - still only eats the Fromm puppy food, not the adult version (of course)! I've never used the grooming services or self serve bath, but they are usually busy! While I used to bring my puppy here, as he got older he started to bark at everything, so I now leave him at home, but I love seeing all the well behaved pets! I brought my dog to Barrington Oaks Veterinary Clinic in Princeton for severe allergies, hoping to find a new primary vet. While the veterinarian seemed knowledgeable at first, it quickly became clear that this clinic is far more concerned with money and corporate profit than the actual care of the animal. During the exam, the vet mentioned that my dog's anal glands were an issue, stating that one side was "a little bad" and the other was "medium." He never mentioned anything about administering an injection or any kind of treatment for it during our conversation. Yet, when I looked at my bill, they had charged me for a medication injection that was never discussed or authorized. I had to catch this mistake and bring it up myself to raise a concern. While they did ultimately refund my money, the fact that I had to point out an unauthorized procedure just to get my money back is incredibly shady. When I asked if I could fill my dog's expensive allergy prescriptions through a more affordable pharmacy like Costco, the vet flatly refused to write the scripts unless I paid for additional, unnecessary blood work and extra appointments. As soon as he found out I was leaving and returning to my original primary vet, he completely refused to give me the scripts at all--even though we had just had an appointment specifically about it. Withholding a sick animal's treatment plan notes out of spite for losing a client's business is highly unprofessional, especially since his own medical records explicitly state that he recommends Apoquel. To make matters worse, it deeply concerns me to see what this clinic is willing to risk when it comes to a dog's health just to make an extra buck. Sneaking extra charges onto a bill for procedures never discussed and keeping a suffering animal from their required medication because the owner wants to find an affordable pharmacy is unethical and dangerous. A veterinary clinic should support a pet owner trying to manage the high costs of chronic illness, not hold vital treatments hostage because a client chooses to buy medication elsewhere. If you want a clinic that prioritizes your pet's well-being over corporate profits and respects your right as a consumer, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. I am incredibly relieved to be returning to my original primary vet, where my dog's care comes first

Now, however,…read morethey have repeatedly reported they're under-staffed, and today upon picking up my dog from daycare, not only had she been allowed to chew up her harness, leash, and towel (which has never been an issue when staying for a full day of daycare previously), but also somehow she was able to chew through the plastic ziplock bag that contained her food (which was also still full of food, which again has never been an issue on previous days). Although I was told that dogs are not allowed near the bins where the bags of food are kept, I was told by a worker while picking up my dog that "it looks like she got to her food bag," which is made of zip-lock plastic, and now I'm concerned with how much she ingested. Overall, the Lucky Pets staff is aware they're understaffed, but continue to accept dogs into their care that they do not have the staff to properly/safely watch and take care of. Extremely disappointed after how great it was a few weeks ago.

She even came over last year when I was very ill, had no one to help and brought friends co-workers one day and helped me pack up my house to put it on mkt! Why is her kennel so unique? 1. She created a separate entire house with full spotless rooms for each size/ weight of dogs. Each room with giant picture windows has it's own huge outdoor fenced in yard with an easy access door for the dogs to go in and out at will. By keeping the huge dogs separate from the ,e.g., fragile 10 pound breeds you prevent what happened years ago to our young puppy in Virginia --- she was bitten while at a kennel in Richmond VA during their daily " all -dog" -in- one giant indoor room play time, then never informed us of this neck bite! 2. Madree's whole life and passion is focused entirely upon her business which she supervises meticulously. Her own home is right next door on a spacious property. She is extremely careful with whom she hires and the majority of her staff have been with her for a long time. 3. We had a deeply loved very very old Bischon Frise, Timmy, who lived to the age of 19.5. Madree and her entire staff showered tim with love and rare care-- they created a special space just for him right next to their office so they could hear him/see him at all times He even had his own sofa! WHO does this? Being so old he had a very special vegetarian diet including a spoonful of cottage cheese or yogurt. No diet is too complex for them and they take exacting notes at intake for all your pet's needs . Unbelievable. 4. And somewhere, I don't know WHERE Madree finds the energy and stamina to offer one way or ROUNDTRIP PICK UP/DELIVERY service for a fee. She rarely gets home from this until midnight . (Whew!) Over time the entire staff starts to become part of your family -- rare today. Most of all we never ever worry, each of our pets NEVER has had a problem and receives deep love and care with Madree and her great staff . PS. Her daily rates are quite reasonable. They offer bathing and gentle grooming and wait until Halloween -- she adores this holiday as much as I do.
