Just In Time Dog Walking & Boarding

From Yogi I wasn't…read morealways this proud 150-pound brindle Akita you see today. I was a scared, reactive dog when my human found me. I'd been abused, and later, after finally finding a safe home, someone broke in... and I was beaten again. I don't trust easily. I bark when I feel unsafe. I protect my space fiercely. I need distance from other dogs--not because I don't care, but because I care too deeply and don't know how to show it safely. But my human understood. They walk me on a 6' lead, often shortened to 2'. They sit on the ground beside me when I'm overwhelmed. They give me time, space, and safety to choose connection. That's how I learned how to say: "If I turn sideways and offer my shoulders or my butt... you can touch me." It's not much, but it's my way of saying "I trust you." And Justine listened. On October 4, 2023, Justine became my personal walker once a week. My human told her the truth--every challenge, every warning. She had every reason to walk away. But she didn't. She stayed. She followed my signals. She gave me 15 minutes. Now we do 30-minute walks once a week. She must really love me. Then, on January 2, 2024, I met Laura--and fate stepped in again. I didn't know she worked with Justine. Now I have two amazing humans who take me out twice a week. They get me. They give me time. And I give them my trust. To the anxious pups, the misunderstood cats, the shy reptiles, the quiet rodents hiding under blankets: You are NOT broken You are NOT too much You just need the right people who will wait for you to feel safe I'm Yogi. I'm a 150-pound Protection Fluff with a gentle heart and a rough past. I don't take love lightly--but once I give it, it's forever. Sloppy kisses and steady eyes, --Yogi From Yogi's Human: Yogi came into my life with scars--some I could see, many I couldn't. And while I helped him find safety... he helped me survive too. Watching him grow from panic to patience, from tension to trust, has been the most powerful journey of my life. We have good days, tough ones, and breakthroughs. But we keep going. To Justine and Laura--thank you for stepping into our lives. You didn't just help my dog. You made it possible for me to breathe a little easier too. To everyone walking a reactive pet journey: Progress isn't linear. Love is a process. Jeff is an amazing trainer who really loves dogs and having my dogs spend time at Pack of Paws is the best treat I have ever given them. (Molly not only comes back visibly happier with a very calm satified energy, Jeff takes his time explaning training methods and gives tips and pointers on what I can do on my own time Molly) So far only one of my dogs have spent time there and the change I saw in her was immediate (positive changes). She always comes back super content, a little tired (from the exercise and playing) and ready to nap and cuddle. I am going to start sending my other dog to the day care so she can enjoy the benefits of working with Jeff and his pack. I very much recommend this if you need training or if you simply want a good place for your pooch to hang out during the day when you're at work (or even if you simply want your pup to play with other dogs and go for an amazing group walk with Jeff on his rollerblades) This is the most satisfied I've ever been with ANY service I have come across in all my life. update: both my dogs have now been going to pack of paws for a month now and they are so well behaved and so happy. my finicky little one is a lot more respectful and actually comes when we call her. She also had fear of stairs which is now gone. my bigger dog who loves to jump on people and is super high energy is so much more well adjusted and calm :)

I have nothing but positive things to say about Juno. I've been a member for just over a year and…read moreit is well worth the membership fee. I've used the virtual option several times for various minor issues. Response times are pretty much immediate and I've always been provided excellent information. I've saved a lot of money avoiding having to go into any [emergency] clinic and seeing a vet for these concerns. All the staff I've interacted with, either front of house, vet techs, vets, etc., they've all been friendly and welcoming towards all pets and humans alike. The costs are always explained upfront and you can decide how to proceed. I appreciate the transparency. If your insurance company is Trupanion, submissions are direct and you'll know if you have to pay or not. There is a beverage bar with hot and cold drinks for the people. There are water bowls and treatos for the furries. 5 stars. They're excellent! I can't wait for more locations!

I am extremely disturbed and disappointed by my experience at Juno Veterinary with Dr. Lam. We originally came in for a follow-up appointment regarding my dog Blizzard's eye injury, not for vaccinations. Yet the focus of the appointment quickly shifted away from the actual issue we came in for and heavily toward vaccines and parasite prevention products. Before any vaccines were administered, I specifically told the doctor multiple times that I did NOT believe Blizzard's medical records from our previous veterinarians were complete yet and that I was unsure whether he was actually due. Instead of listening to my concerns or waiting for proper verification, I was made to feel like a negligent and irresponsible pet owner simply for questioning the recommendations. The pressure during the appointment was extremely overwhelming. The way vaccines and parasite prevention were pushed made it feel as though declining or waiting would mean I was failing my dog, despite me clearly communicating uncertainty about his records. The vaccines were administered anyway without giving me a proper opportunity to confirm his full medical history first. After the appointment, Blizzard became lethargic and unwell enough that I had to contact the clinic in distress. As an owner, it was terrifying watching my dog react poorly after receiving vaccines he ultimately did not even need at that time. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the clinic later admitted in writing that the Bordetella and Leptospirosis vaccines were NOT actually due until September 2026. In other words, unnecessary medical treatment was administered while my concerns about incomplete records were ignored. Instead of taking meaningful accountability afterward, the clinic's response focused heavily on protecting itself and emphasizing "consent," while completely ignoring the imbalance of power between a worried owner and a veterinary professional. Pet owners trust veterinarians to exercise caution and proper judgment, especially when records are incomplete and concerns are directly raised. That did not happen here. This entire experience left me feeling like profit and upselling vaccines mattered more than listening to concerns about my dog's actual condition or ensuring his records were properly verified first. At no point did I feel heard, respected, or supported as an owner trying to advocate for my dog. I left this experience feeling pressured, dismissed, judged, and completely betrayed by a clinic I trusted with my dog's care. The lack of compassion and accountability afterward only made the situation worse. I will be escalating this matter further because no pet should be overdosed and no pet owner should be placed in this position.
