Decided to give new guy (James) a chance. BIG MISTAKE as he nearly shaved my dog and even did that poorly, very uneven. He didn't clean his ears or teeth as I paid him to and nails are smooth or even. My dog has irritation around his eye and anus from the terrible trim or rather shave job. Mgr, Melissa stated that James didn't know how to look up my pet's previous grooming history with all the notes that clearly state my preferences and what cutting guides to use. So James decided to wing it and do that fastest easiest cut there is, cut them close! However he left his belly hair much longer, didnt attempt to blend his cuts, there are literal cut lines clearly visible, didn't clean or pluck his ears, his face hair and whiskers are randomly cut and he didn't even blow dry him which I specifically stated and requir (FYI, my dog loves being blow dried when done correctly and with heat turned off. We have a pro pet dryer at home) I spoke with mgr and was refused a refund but she offered to try and fix his poor haircut. She admitted to seeing it prior to me picking him up but didn't fix the problem then. She did apologize but told me the owner (Alexis) doesn't allow refunds. Review, K9 Lifesaver Guy Beyond wonderful and a lifesaver…read more I cannot even put into words how much he helped me. I had taken in an abandoned dog, a pitbull mix, who was young but adult size and 56 pounds. He was not fixed so had scheduled him for neutering, but it would take some time. It was fine, I could not spend time with him because he was attracted to my leg, to take him out in the backyard was off could do. He was well behaved. However, the backyard neighbors have been away with their dogs in the head come back on a Saturday. Starting Saturday night, after being in the backyard when the other dogs were backyard, he started really hyper. And Sunday he just won't be berserk, he somehow got out of a closed door room, he had scratched the door had put a hole in the wall. He chased after my cats, and he was going on the tables and I just couldn't control him. I called different places, thinking I had to get rid of them right away for my cats. It was a Sunday night so I had no luck. Until I called North Florida K9 Behavior Center and luckily, he answered the phone. He was a godsend. He calmed me down because I was hysterical. Gave me great information about neutering and what to expect after you neuters. He also gave me a lot of great psychological canine behavior, tips and information explain so much he helped me get a plan together, which I was too hysterical otherwise to have done without him. It set a plan to put Teddy in the garage with the cage, and to keep him away from the cats, meaning I would take him directly from the garage, the backyard and not to the house. he called me down enough to realize that the neutering process would help a lot, and that it was OK to keep him in the garage for now for his safety safety of my cats and my sanity. I literally don't know what I would have done without him. Teddy is still waiting neutering so after Teddy has that procedure, and finishes his vaccine boosters, our plan to call him again. You can't go wrong with a person who's so understanding, so calm, know so much about any more behavior and psychology, someone who takes the time out of their off time to help deal with a hysterical person, which she did not have to do. I highly recommend his services.
