I love Camp Run a Mutt!

I have been bringing Ragnar to Camp for a year now, he is 2 ... He absolutely loves it! When I say "Do you want to go play with friends?" He runs to the car, and goes crazy with delight we near the Camp. I love that I can watch him play & believe this has helped him be a very fun, social dog. Everyone is very friendly and they know Ragnar when they see him I am retired so take him at least 1 day a week so he can play. They keep the playground VERY clean and are attentive. They make sure all dogs have ALL shots. I have not had to board, however in the future if I do I now have a place I would feel comfortable doing so. The groomer was great, however kept changing times on me so that didn't work out. I treat my boy like my child, I highly recommend Camp Run a Mutt if you want a safe, clean, fun environment for your Pup.

Pet parents unite! Looking for a comfy space that feels like home for your furry friend? Camp Run A Mutt should be a contender! A paradise for the barking babies, this is essentially daycare for your pup. Complete with a custom name tag for their basket of camp items and report cards! The owners and entire team at CRAM are all so sweet, Babs gets so excited when she sees them. I really love that their boarding fee includes daycare! Knowing that my baby is getting a good nights rest and waking up to more fun with her friends makes me so happy. The best thing about CRAM? The Mutt Cams! If you're an overprotective parent like me, you'll love watching your pet on the various cams in the play area! From the refreshing doggy pool, the fun ramps and constant love & attention from the team, you can keep in touch from a distance with a few taps! Give yourself a day off and your dog a day at camp!

I took my dog and she spent 3 nights. I was very happy with her care. My dog wasn't eating and one of the owners payed beside her until she ate and fell asleep.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! They really care about all the dogs, they eventually learn their names and always treat them with love and respect. My dog has some separation anxiety, however, he always gets excited when he knows he'll go to camp! I am also in love with the online cameras so I can see my dog having fun. The prices are really good and UF affiliation gives additional discounts. Thank you so much to all the staff for being so kind to me and my pups

Gus slept through entire 2 hr car ride back home something he never does! I this pic he wouldn't even get up for food

I literally can't say enough good things about this place. Brandi truly truly loves and adores animals and her job and it shows. When I came in, she acted like my pup, Gus, was the best and most precious dog in the world. They took time to get to know my pup before taking him; diet, medicine, behaviors, how he is with other dogs, etc. They have at least 3 different areas to take them, including inside if it rains or gets too hot. I loved that I could look at the cameras and see how he was doing ANYTIME- it was so easy and simple! I could see the employees loving on my pup and playing with him. Honestly, I learned so much about my dog while watching the videos. His first day was ONLY TWENTY BUCKS and he can stay until 7:00pm!!!!! You will not regret taking your pup to this place!

This place is awesome! My dog is a rescue so she doesn't like kennels and loves to play with people and dogs! She is always worn out! The staff is just amazing and sweet and wonderful! I can check on her throughout the day in the cameras and they have great hours that work with my schedule! Great place for my high energy dog!

Highly recommend taking your pup to CAMP here! Mike and Brandi are always extremely friendly and professional as well as take the time to get to know you and your dog! Also love the live stream video and daily FB pics to be able to check in on my pup. We have also used the grooming services, which are awesome, too!

Being a new client of Pet Paradise, I feel just that way! Babs spent two nights at Pet Paradise as a boarding guest and I'm sure that if she could talk, she'd tell me how great it was!! As soon as we walked in the door, Babs was treated like a celebrity! She made new friends before I even walked out of the door as she was given some bite-sized treats and loved on by the amazing team at Pet Paradise. When I returned to pick her up, I loved that the staff remembered that I was Babs' mom and happily told me all about her stay, and even showed me the cutest pics of her snuggled up! I loved the little report card I got on her telling me all about her new friends! The team at Pet Paradise was so patient, courteous and caring, truly an awesome experience from start to finish! Now that Babs is on the Wellness Plan and loves her new doggy and human friends, we can't wait to return to Pet Paradise!

Received an email the morning of drop off that they had cancelled reservation because didn't have them. I Immediately called , had to leave a message, but super friendly girl that answered the phone said no problem if we brought them records. I had emails showing we sent them but whatever, they're on file now. Check in was a nightmare. They were checked in and an hour later,we're in the airport when I received a call asking what kind of dog we had. It's a dachshund and a Yorkie-nothing rare. They went through all of the information I had entered in their web site AND was on the vet records that I dropped off personally as well as on the clip board they gave me to fill out while I was there . I had requested grooming, again through the web site and a follow up email with pictures just in case. I received a message saying if I didn't call them, they would cancel grooming. Not a good time for me return the call, so I made appointment at Nature's Pet, worth an extra trip great job. One might wonder why we would book another appointment? The girl out front is so nice and great with the dogs. I thought since they now have all of our records, there should be no problem. Until this morning, on our way out of town. Stopped by to drop the dogs off. Only to find that our reservation had been cancelled. They said we didn't pay a deposit. Looked through all of my emails to see if I missed request but nothing-NADA. Only email other than advertisements is the confirming email. There are no messages and no phone calls from a number associated with pet paradise. So thanksgiving weekend I'm missing my flight.

Last month I took one of our dogs here for his annual shots and I liked the vet, whose name I believe was Melissa White. I didn't really have to deal with any vet "tech" that day. We have another dog that is anxious when anyone tries to trim his nails so I talked to Melissa about bringing him there to have his nails trimmed. She suggested we bring him in JUST FOR THAT since he'd just had his shots updated by another vet. I had made an appointment for him to get his nails trimmed a few weeks ago at 8 am and my husband had to deal with one of their vet "techs" who was a very unprofessional female, acted really nasty, obnoxious, and was actually looking for a PHYSICAL fight with my husband! We had gotten there about 10 minutes before our appointment time and I went in alone to tell the receptionist we were there but my husband would stay in my truck with our dog until they were ready for him since he would be very anxious when he came in and couldn't wait inside. The receptionist told me they were ready for him and my husband should bring him in. My husband brought our dog in while I waited outside in my truck with our other dog. My husband was brought into an examination room and a vet "tech" came in and wanted to do an "examination" so likely they could charge us for more than just a nail trim. My husband told her he had heard me on the phone make the appointment for ONLY for a nail trim, and the vet we used to take our dog to told us that they had sent all of his medical records to them, which one of the "techs" denied. My husband also told her we'd had our dog for 10 years and he tried to tell her exactly how his nails needed to be trimmed so he wouldn't go wild. She acted like she knew everything and didn't want to hear what he had to say. She then kept coming in and out of the room, making him wait and become more anxious, then my husband said she came in, grabbed our dog's paw, squeezed it and clipped one nail. Our dog went wild. He jumped all over my husband, kept scratching him, and my husband had blood all over his arms from being scratched. The "tech" then wanted to take our dog away from my husband and "bring him into the back" and said we'd come too early and there weren't enough people to help! Bizarre since they told me they were ready for him and to come in! My husband then called me on the phone and said he wanted to leave because the "tech" had no sense. Of course she really did not have any sense since she just wanted to do what SHE wanted to do and not listen to my husband who knew way more about our dog than she could possibly know. Then a nasty tattooed and obnoxious "tech" came into the room after he told me on the phone that the other "tech" had no sense. She tried literally to start a physical fight with my husband! She obviously didn't care about our dog going crazy because of what the other "tech" did, or the fact that my husband's skin was bleeding everywhere. My husband asked to speak to the actual vet since our appointment verification said WE WOULD HAVE AN APPOINTMENT with a vet named "Courtney Sorenson", not a bunch of ignorant know it all "techs" who knew NOTHING. Obviously being informed that we had an appointment with an actual vet was a lie because the big, nasty, tatted up "tech" refused to let my husband speak to the vet. She then blocked the door so he couldn't leave, told him he wasn't allowed to criticize "her staff", which was BS since she wasn't a vet, just an obnoxious employee. She got in his face, and kept saying, "Come at me! Come at me!" My husband walked toward her and she stepped aside from the door and he left. When he came out to the parking lot I got out of my truck because she followed him out into the parking lot yelling like a lunatic saying that we were banned from that place and said our lives obviously sucked. I thought, wow, what a crazy lunatic she is if she thought we would ever, ever, come back to that place again! I would never trust a place like that with my dogs for hiring such an obnoxious nasty hag. As she stood there yelling my husband called her a fat tatted up moron, which she played out as true. Then she started yelling at me even though I hadn't had ANY contact with her at all. I told her to look at herself in the mirror, clearly it was obviously HER life that sucked. I then told her I would write a bad review and she said, "Go ahead!", so here it is! As an attorney I have dealt with deranged people my whole career, and I clearly I believe she is one of them and should never be around anyone's pets. She should probably just be flipping hamburgers at a fast food joint and have no contact with customers. Fortunately our lives ONLY suck when we meet lunatics like her!

The camp is understaffed and it has become unsafe for the capacity of dogs they're taking care of nowadays. My dog went twice a week, and on his last two visits, I received calls about him being injured. Staff explained that the dog that hurt him gets really rough sometimes and they've been working on separating her. As I was inspecting the rest of his body, I also noticed pretty sizable, fresh scabs around his neck. The next time I brought him in, I asked staff to separate him if he was starting to get roughed up since he's a smaller dog. I received a message saying that my dog had his ear nipped at and was bleeding a lot. I checked him out and a chunk of his ear had been bitten off! Staff explained to me that Thursday's are "crazy" for them now and they were trying to separate the large group into 2 play groups and during this process, he was injured. In the agreement you sign to let you dog attend it states "I understand that in a doggie daycare type of situation a dog may get the occasional cut, bite, or scrape," however my dog was severely injured (as pictured by his ear) and this is not your typical "occasional cut, bite, or scrape." Accidents happen, however it seems like this may have been prevented if they were properly staffed and trained. Through my conversations with staff in, person and through email, it is clear that many of the staff were untrained to handle this type of situation until after my dog was injured. I'm sad to say it since my dog loves to play with his friends here, I will no longer be taking him to camp. Given the circumstances, I've been very calm and understanding when following up regarding this situation, however their staff have been very unprofessional and condescending to me. It has been difficult to communicate with them in a timely manner. I have had to wait weeks for a response, only to be told an excuse of "being a busy working professional" has delayed an answer.

The place is well organized and has a structured schedule without compromising on fun for the dogs. It's very much like a camp: dogs receive report cards/progress reports, they celebrate the "campers" birthdays and traditional (and not so traditional) holidays & festivities. My dog (a lab mix) quickly took to the staff and with their help has become less skittish and more socialized with other dogs. I think she is finally learning how to be a dog and play with others! :)
