She loves going on walks but has that little dog mentality where she barks at all the other dogs. We went to dog training, basic and intermediate. I was nervous about taking her to the dog park, due to all of the above issues. When we first arrived, so many of the little dogs come running up to the gate, making it a bit intimidating to come in. Both my Penney and I struggled with this for the first few weeks but soon she began to love going there. It was almost six weeks before I saw her initiate play with another dog. It's been enjoyable seeing her having fun. My only complaint would be that it seems there should be a cement platform under the picnic tables. The dogs have dug a tunnel under one. Not sure where they plan on going! The shade and the breeze are really nice up there. Even when it's too hot at home, it's almost always better at the dog park!
