Great burgers! Have to start there. I have stopped by twice and both times had a bun-less burger to keep things gluten-free and found it to be great. The service was great as well. This is not a fancy place but still a great fast casual place to get some good beers and burgers with friends.

Best Chili Dog in Forest Hills. The Dog Haus is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I also like the burgers and chicken wings! The sweet potato fries are crispy and tasty. Whats not to like. Ruff ruff.

While the sweet potato fries weren't quite as crispy as I personally prefer, they certainly didn't lack in flavor.

They had a special prix-fixed menu for Valentine's Day priced at $98 per person. I thought this was a great deal considering how much food they serve you. My wife also got the wine pairing for $45- you get four glasses of wine, so it's a good deal. Natalia was our waitress and she was great. She was very friendly and service as usual was spot on. I opted for a la carte and got our usual Grilled Spiced Wild Calamari - still delicious and the Pappardelle. This is one of my favorite dishes here. Most of the pasta dishes here are really good, so you can't go wrong with any of those selections. For the special Valentine's Day menu, the Beef Tartare & Smoked Bone Marrow and the Roasted Lobster Fra Diavolo was definitely the highlight of the evening. The beef tartare was sitting on top of the bone marrow, and they served a really large piece of bone marrow! The Roasted Lobster Fra Diavolo needs to be on the regular menu- it was that good. The lobster tasted like it was cooked sous-vide because it was so light and tender. This dish also came with Key West Shrimp. The Squid Ink Tagliatelle pasta was al dente - just perfect. There is a parking garage underneath the building. They do provide parking validation.

However, I've noticed during each visit that the staff changes frequently, and we often see new faces. The servers and hosts are usually friendly, but it seems they either forget to check on us or are too busy to do so regularly. This has been a consistent issue during our visits. Although the restaurant is not overly busy, it is quite large and has multiple separate seating areas. It's possible that our server was preoccupied with other tables that we couldn't see. My daughter often feels frustrated during our visits since we don't allow her to use electronic devices like many other parents do. Despite this, she still enjoys the restaurant, the food, and the friendly staff. It's unfortunate that they don't serve warm bread and olive oil like many other Italian restaurants do. We love the seafood and all the pasta dishes, having tried them all. My favorite is Fabio's ravioli, while the grilled octopus, grilled calamari, and Branzino are also top choices. Overall, the food is good, but it is a bit pricey, and the service needs to improve. I don't mind paying higher prices, but I expect good service in return.

The burger that my husband ordered looked a little undercooked for the medium he requested. The pasta dishes my party ordered were more of a 3/5. Ambiance: decor includes planes/boats/trains, tables are not too close together, lots of tables available. I have been here with parties as large as 7 and sat comfortably. The tables and booths are framed with wood. Easy parking in a garage and centrally located by other restaurants and high end shops. The whole trout is delicious. The wings (ordered plain with sauce on the side) were crispy and satisfying. Above average draft beer list. Decent burgers (but honestly not as good as the Cheesecake Factory's burgers if a burger is what you're looking for). Burger sliders are better than the full-sized ones. Great menu. All in all, a pleasurable experience that's worth returning for.

The space is in the basement of two long townhouses with a small passage in the middle. It's an unusual layout, with the host stand around the middle of the first townhouse (a small bar area is in front of it) and I had no idea they had the second townhouse space until they took us through the small passage. It was a Wednesday at 6:30 PM and the place was busy. Our dining room was pretty noisy. It was also difficult to get the waiter's attention, because the long, narrow layout meant he couldn't see parts of our table. Also, at the start of the meal, he overfilled the water pitcher, spilling water on the table and floor. That said, he was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and splitting the bill. We visited for a minor special occasion, which the restaurant recognized with a small card -- this was a nice touch, and one that many higher end restaurant miss. The menu is very large and a bit overwhelming for a first time visitor. There are 16 desserts. I like the variety, but it feels like overkill, and frankly I'm skeptical of all restaurants with huge menus -- is every dish really a winner? will they execute everything well? (Side note: the website menus link to Canva files which are super annoying to browse) We got the Laing ($16) with mushrooms ($5), Chicken Adobo ($19), and Sizzling Sisig ($22). All three came with rice, with a small upcharge for garlic rice. The inclusion of rice, and the upcharge, could have been more clearly noted on the menu. We shared our dishes, and I would have liked some serving spoons included with them. My favorite was the Laing. I had never had it before, so the flavors were novel and I liked them a lot. The stewed taro leaves reminded me a bit of creamed spinach, in a good way. It had strong coconut flavor, plus some spice when you got a chili pepper. The adobo was good but not great. I liked that the chicken was deboned -- a pleasant surprise. Flavors were good, but I wanted them to be punchier. The Sisis was my least favorite. It was a standard version of the dish, not very interesting. We also had the Ube Bread Pudding with Ube Ice Cream ($12) for dessert. This was good, but I wouldn't describe it as a bread pudding. It was thinner and denser than a traditional bread pudding, with a shape and consistency that reminded me more of a brownie or a crumble. I would love to return and try more of the menu.
