Usually love coming here for the food but came here tonight on 1/26 and no one greeted us as we came in. Stood at front counter and no one came so used kiosk when worker came up front by us, didn't ask us if we need help or get our cups for drinks. When we got out food the guy with blue finger nails(same guy that didn't help us) told us that they are closed and to try and eat our food within 15 minutes or less. I will start by saying that the food is really good, no issues with the food! Where this place consistently fails is in their customer service! They consistently run way later than the time they give you. I will show up 10 minutes after the time they give me and most of the time they haven't even started my order or they just barely started it. First time here and we liked it. You do have to order at the counter so I would suggest looking at the extensive menu. I always get stressed when counter ordering is in place because people have to wait on me, so today I panic ordered lol! They have dogs, sausages, burgers, chicken, sliders and breakfast, LOTS of options. We ordered the Fonz and the Cheeseburger. They were both good. The also have a great craft beer list. It is a rather small, maybe 25 seats and a bar that seats 10. Take out would be a great option if you can't get a seat. read more

My daughter is all about egg on a burger. The way to get this at Dog Haus is by also having chili on the burger which wasn't appealing to her so we asked for The Hangover without chili. I really wanted to like this place... but it was disappointing. The food took 50 mins to come out, and was cold and the server forgot my fries and never came back until i had to remind her again. I didnt think burgers and fries would take an hour. The staff was very nice but unfortunately the service really sucked. I'd rather spend the same money and go to a different burger and hot dog restaurant in the tri cities. This was also the 2nd time we came. The first time was during their opening week, which we thought the long wait was due to them just opening that week, but it looks like thats just the norm for this place. Great food and excellent service. We sat at the bar and the bartenders took great care of us. I got the Sooocali dog with a vegetarian Beyond sausage and my husband got the Ringer burger. He's a big western burger guy and loved the Ringer. We also got the onions rings which were amazing. We did not drink on this visit, but they have a great selection of craft beers on tap. Delivery order. Pathetic. 1.) Ordered iced tea. Requested 1/2 tea, 1/2 lemonade. Got a call. Out of tea. At 1 p.m. Fine. Lemonade. 2.) Chili Dog: Dog was luke-warm. Chili and cheese were less than warm. Chili looked too dark and tasted burnt. Meh. 3.) Cheeseburger: Made substitutions - no special sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayo instead. Condiments came in tubs. Impossible to put on burger w/o dumping too much. Mayo even harder to get out. Center of burger colder than outer edges, which were only lukewarm. Wound up not eating. 4.) Cheese Fries: Fries were soggy, limp, greasy, undersalted, and ... yup, lukewarm. Cheese sauce was cold, gelatinous Jell-O mold in separate container. Just awful. 5.) The conceit of using slider buns for buns: slider buns have built-in break-off edges. When three in a row are used for a hot dog or a 2x2 square is used for a burger, guess what happens. Yup, they break off along their pre-scored edges. Stupid concept makes whatever you're eating fall apart in your hands. Now, some of the coldness issues could have been due to the delivery driver going the LOOOONG way around to bring me my food -- I was watching. But I got it at the appointed time, which makes me figure that I was the second stop on a two-fer delivery. And that still wouldn't explain the chili, the fries or the burger being colder in the center than the edges. This was an awful dining experience.
