They didn't rush us, even though they were busy; they made sure we were taken care of and could ask all the questions we needed to. Prices were reasonable, and they asked us first before doing any procedure to make sure it was in line with what we wanted and could afford. Have them in my contacts on my cell and will use them anytime I have an after-hours need.

I cannot say enough good things about the caring, competent people at this vet. If you live in the area and are looking for an incredible vet who will take care of both you and your fur babies, this practice is it. To make a very long story short, I called them in tears, terrified that Hurricane Dorian was going to prevent us from being able to treat my dog's cancer fast enough to keep her with us (she'd been diagnosed that morning from a much less kind vet). The staff at Antigua listened patiently as I explained that we'd just lost our old dog to cancer the month prior, that our puppy was only a year and a half, and made time to see us that very afternoon. Amid the hurricane, my panic, the preparations they were making to ensure the creatures in their care were safe from Dorian, they made space and time for us. And after the hurricane had passed, they squeezed my dog into a surgery slot the next day to make sure she was given the best chance at life--they did this even though they were booked up for a month and a half, and were no doubt working with people whose animals had been injured during the storm. I have been to several vets on and around Anastasia, and Antigua Veterinary Practice is head, shoulders, knees and toes above the rest.

We have 6 cats (yes we are the crazy cat people) and he has managed to save not one but two of my fur babies. One of them twice. One accidentally got out and was attacked by what we believe was a raccoon. Dr Jack had to shave him in so many places he looked like he had the mange. 53 stitches and 4 trips later he is back to his normal self. Most recently we took in two strays. Ace and Spade were approximately 5 to six weeks old when one of our other rescues Harvey led us to them. We were having trouble catching them and I called Dr Jack's office and they helped me catch them. They were evidently just thrown out of a vehicle because poor Spade was suffering from malnutrition, had a healing broken bone and we thought she wouldn't survive. Dr Jack brought her back. Her sibling who was probably traumatized still will not let us hold her, with their help at the office Ace will actually come to us now. Which leads me to the second time he saved her. She got out when we were having some work done on the house...she was probably hit by a car. Her little broken bones he took care of with 6 laser treatments. They loved on her as much as we do. Provided tissues treats for the dog gave me a little jar full of his hair. Than 4 days later I go to pick up his paw print, there was a sympathy card signed by all the staff, as well as another card with the print of his nose and paw. Saying from my nose to my toes I was loved. Had me crying all over again in the park lot. Thanks everyone
