Took furbaby #3 Shoyo AKA Rugrat at Patty's Pet Salon located at the Beach Boulevard Flea Market…read moreUnit A#102 last Sunday afternoon as he got really dirty from rolling in the dirt and his nails were getting longer and sharper. We picked the individual service package, which consists of a bath, blow dry, ear cleaning PAD shave and nail cutting/trimming which only costs $20 for a small breed (Chihuahua/Terrier mix) After we came back from less than an hour, our Shoyo was very clean and looked really fresh, much thanks to Patty, as she is very passionate with all pups and has 4 of her own and are well taken care of, as she gives that family feeling with her customers as some of us do treat our doggos like children. Tip: Parking can be quite a hassle when it gets busy on the weekends, so make sure to park near the Salon as it is easily accessible by the entrance to the shops towards the end of the Market. Come check out Patty's Pet Salon and give your pooch a pampering time :)

We have been going to Samantha for a few years and have progressively been less happy with our dogs…read moreappearance after his grooming. This last grooming will be the last one we do with Samantha because he came back practically bald and looks terrible. In the beginning when she shaved him shorter than we wanted she was apologetic and would say he had a mat or something. This time we just received a bald dog no explanation and it's way too short and not at all what we asked for. We are pretty sure she just finds it easier to shave the dog than to cut him nicely and that's why she prefers it. It's disappointing and we won't be back.

I brought my 5-pound chihuahua here for a little under a week of boarding while I was out of town…read more The moment I arrived, they had me put him on the ground, and a staff member immediately lassoed a leash around his leg and started pulling. My dog panicked, obviously, and became defensive. I was upset, and instead of addressing the mishandling, someone who appeared to be the manager came out and said they would effectively not take him in, warning that someone would likely have to pick him up the next day if he didn't "warm up" to the caretaker. I had to cancel my trip over this. I've never had issues boarding him elsewhere. I expect the owner will try to dismiss this, but people need to know this place may not match the positive reviews. If your dog reacts badly to mishandling, the consequences could be serious. Be warned.

so grateful for this place!…read more I have a 14 year old mini schnauzer that loves this place!! He gets so excited when we pull in. Everyone here is so kind. It's been a life saver with my work schedule. All indoors ( don't have to worry about the outdoor heat) They have different play rooms (they match your pups energy and group) Their staff is on it. Everyone communicates really well and make it so easy. They text you photos when you're out of town, they have a Facebook group. Prices are very competitive. They do not have grooming but can do baths and nails! For my old man I asked he has downtime vs the all day play so he's not too tired and he takes his naps for blocks at a time to rest. We are just very happy with this place!
