What other pet resort do you know that offers a la cart add on services such as pup ice cream , personal story reading, nature walks, bubble parties, birthday celebrations and special holiday activities for your animals? Every time I go there, I see tons of smiles on parents and pups faces. It's like a preschool for your dogs. They offer day care services and boarding for all sizes, from luxury suits to small dog kennels, there is a place for all sizes. They have large LED screens located throughout the facility that have crackling fire place (in winter) or ocean screen savers (in summer)playing on the television along with ambient sounds or music playing softly in the background. There is a groomer on sight, who together with her team, can outdo Edward Sizzorhands that's how talented they are! From Nature Trails to at least 8 specialized outdoor play yards to Trunk or Treat parties and hand made personalized crafts and treats on holidays, you will feel like you are part of a happy family at Sawgrass Pet Resort. And why does it always smell so good when you walk through the doors? Seriously? Inquiring minds want to know how they do it? Are there magical fairies waving essential oils through the air? Does your dog need training or physical therapy? They even offer that!!! A one stop shop for everything pup. Can it get any better? Why yes it can. One last perk I want to mention (there are so many that I'm sure I'm leaving some out), there is a wonderful Vet clinic right next door. You can rest easy and have peace of mind that your pup will receive the best of care should a vet be required during their stay. That assurance makes taking vacations so much more enjoyable. Don't believe me? Just experience it for yourselves! The proof is in your fur baby's happy smiling face when you pick them up. In May, I requested a thyroid test. His levels were critical but I never received a call from a vet! After many problems with communications, we left the veterinary side last summer. We're considering finding another groomer although we love Tracy. Grooming gets 5 not vet side. But it's the vet side that screwed up his groom appointments!

What a great time it has been! We have two young dogs that needed a little extra training. We had been thinking about doing the training for a bit before deciding to move forward with it. Some of our reservations on doing the training were that we didn't know their experience with terriers and their temperaments, and we didn't know how often they dealt with small breeds. Most of their online presence showed a lot of larger breeds. We met with staff and went back and forth on moving forward with the camp. What ultimately made our decision were a couple of things. We use Jet Sets for boarding, and fully trust their staff, and we ended up seeing a small breed going through their training in one of their online posts. These things helped make our decision for us, and we're so glad that we did it! For all of you small breed owners, yes, they do work with small breeds! I was at the vet twice the month before for vaccines, why wasn't it done then? They know she has been on this medicine for years (apoquel). So she ran out of her medication. She was out for days causing her to scratch during the nights -resulting in a severe rash and sleepless nights. This is the second time I had to call to get her script filled. They said they "called and texted me". I never received any communication on my phone. The receptionist said there was a miscommunication...Hmm? Other veterinarians would fill it, along as I made an appointment. Not this place. Not going back.

I wasn't sure how he would do woth other animals but Devon immediately assured me that they would be able to handle Kapano in their house for his boarding! I was impressed as he came back more confident and mannered around other dogs. I was consistently sent updates and photos of him throughout his stay and made to feel more than welcome to visit. He also came back to me in better shape in terms of muscle! If there was anything Devon had questions about they had no issues contacting me right away to let me know or ask about, I felt very comfortable and safe with my dog remaining under Devons care. I had never had to leave my dog with anyone before so i was reasonably worried as he's been my bestfriend for 6 years but i am EXTREMELY satisfied with Devons services and will continue to use devon for any training/boarding related needs for the future. I've requested the bichon groom and she has patiently brought him through the stages necessary to get a good structured cut. She doesn't rush his cut and the fact that she is also a trainer has made her a wonderful match with my little man. She is patient and firm. My boy, Jax, loves her and can't get out of my arms and into hers fast enough! Dave, the owner, is terrific about getting me scheduled when I need it. A bonus with using Hound's Hair is getting to walk into a veritable art gallery every time we visit-Dave is a gifted photographer. The only drawback (reason for 4 stars) is the services are pricier than some of the competitors but you get what you pay for. It's worth my peace of mind to know that my fur baby is in the best hands.
