Google reviews Jennifer Jones in the last week I'm not one to write reviews, however we hope this helps so that no one will have to go threw what happened to us. This clinic is only good for shots and non emergency issues! If you dog needs any kind of surgery....find another vet! We just lost our beloved furbaby because of a blatent disregard for surgical aftercare! Our baby girl had to have emergency surgery to remove over 300 bladder stones that were NEVER detected even though she was treated for chronic bladder infections. No recent x rays were taken to even rule out bladder stones. After the surgery we were given the options to take her home or leave her at the clinic. We chose to leave her at the clinic because we thought she would receive the after care she needed. This was not the case! Our furbaby was left UNATTENDED ALL NIGHT LONG! With NO E-COLLAR! With a 6inch surgical wound exposed to what ever elements would happen. The next morning our fur baby was found in the kennel she had been left UNATTENDED in with her surgical site fully open and her insides were completely out! She had to have a second emergency surgery to repair what happened to her overnight. Now with that said....I spoke with Dr Tom. He listened to what I had to say but offered no apologies for his lack of care! He said it was his office policy NOT to put an E-COLLAR on an animal after surgery. And he also has NO overnight staff for monitoring the aftercare. Ok I get the fact that you are to cheep to pay someone overnight to take care of the animals you took an oath to care for. But to not disclose that information to your clients is just wrong! There are emergency facilities that are equipped for over night monitoring. And yes, as Dr Tom pointed out they are expensive! But who is he to decide what his clients can pay for? Had we known our baby was all alone, we would have made other arrangements for her aftercare!! Our precious furbabby passed away peacfully in her mothers arms the night after that second surgery. I believe in my heart that had she not been alone that first awful night. She would be here today! So please do not let them do surgery on your dog. Dr. Tom I do not feel like you have the right kind of compassion that is required to be a great veterinarian. I love going in to see Dr. Bendick and her staff. They kiss my cats & dog and talk "sweet talk" to them. That makes me feel better. She recommends the medications that is best for my pets. Helping me get automatic home delivery- my favorite. Saves me so much time! She lets me know about any discounts too! She loves to help me save with manufacturing rebates or coupons. She has helped me with two of my pets as they became so ill - helping me me assess when it was the right time. She goes above and beyond and I am so thankful. I usually don't write reviews but this place deserves some praise. I scheduled a dental cleaning for my two dachshunds and they did an excellent job! They have some of the nicest staff, aren't pushy on selling products, answered my questions and handled my pets well. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and there was no wait time. They also had one of the best prices in town and did not mind giving me an estimate beforehand. I also noticed when we returned home the dogs' nails had been trimmed. I really appreciated that! I love Dr. Bendick and the way her clinic always feels welcoming. You can tell that she really loves all animals! She always seems cheerful and upbeat, yet professional and knowledgeable, which leaves you feeling confident in her ability. . . My cat experienced a distressing respitory infection recently that was very worrisome to me. Dr. Bendick gave me advise and support which did a lot to make me feel better. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bendick and her staff. Every visit we are warmly welcomed and treated with the utmost respect. It is apparent they care about practicing best medicine while maintaining the best bedside manner possible. Dr. Bendick is honest and fair with her recommendations and the staff is knowledgeable and truly care about educating each and everyone of their clients. i started bringing my animals to this clinic last year and absolutely adore the clinic and its staff! they are incredibly friendly as soon as you walk in the door. you are greeted with a kind, smiling face and are treated like family. when i found out 2 of my dogs were heartworm positive dr. bendick went above and beyond to make sure everything was explained thoroughly to me, and in a sense walked me through every step towards their recovery! i am beyond appreciative of all that she has done!!! read more

This is a very professional and caring staff who has displayed A1 service to my two dogs and birds over the last 19 years. I woudn't trust my pets care and well-being to anyone else. My dog loves going there even for her shots. The staff greets her by name and shows genuine affection toward her. Both dogs were successfully operated on and nursed back to health. Dr. Bendick has been caring for my animals for many years.She found a growth that happened to be cancerous and removed it completely without me having to go to a specialist. She has also helped my other dog with her separation anxiety and heart condition which she no longer has. The staff are very friendly and caring. I would recommend this hospital above any they're great at what they do. read more

I even drive 1 hour + to go to St Augustine for cate for my 2 dogs. Followed Dr Bendick from Atlantic Beach where she use to practice. No wonder it was voted Best of the Best! read more
