We LOVE it here!!!!!! Megan, a technician here, always remembers us and our Kaia girl. They know she loves treats and always has them at the ready. We took her in this week after receiving a bleak prognosis from Saint Augustine Regional emergency vet the night before. We had been told she had a bleeding tumor on her heart and when we arrived to Southeast the next day my husband and I were both still in tears, truly expecting not to come home with our beloved girl. Mrs. Dr. Timberlake quickly debunked the terminal diagnosis, and even did an ultrasound on her heart right in front of us so we could see for ourselves what was going on with her heart. Everything was thoroughly explained and Mr. Dr. T even came in to take another look. We felt so incredibly cared for and loved. They never make me feel like I'm overreacting, and always are sweet and professional. She's been given medication to treat her heart condition and also an antibiotic due to some other symptoms and I'm so happy to report she is feeling so much better and even played with her toys today! We love everyone here SO MUCH and are eternally grateful for everything they've done for us and for caring so deeply for our girl. I've been to many other veterinary clinics in town in the past and Southeast Veterinary is by far THE BEST experience I've had! I'd give them a million stars if I could! We love you Dr. T and Megan!!!!!

    My baby Taylor Vinge killed

The worst veterinarian!! Took my 1year old healthy Frenchie in for a routine Rabies vaccine. The vet is "Dr.Taylor Vinge" she killed my beautiful Frenchie!! She over medicated her. She should never be able to treat anyone's pet ever!!!!!

They were able to get us in on such short notice and we're super friendly and through! Will definitely become my main vet for the kitties.

I have used this veterinary hospital for at least 15 years and have always been very satisfied with…read morethe care my pets received until a recent experience. My dog requires prescription diet food, and I asked the office to approve the prescription through Chewy after Chewy informed me that the request had not been authorized. When I contacted the veterinary office, I was told they no longer approve prescriptions through Chewy and that I would need to purchase the food through their online store or come in person to pick up the prescription. I explained that this was not possible at the time because I was on my way to take my husband to the emergency room and my dog was running out of food. I asked if an exception could be made given the circumstances, but they declined. I found this response to be unnecessarily inflexible and lacking in compassion, especially considering my long history as a client and the urgent personal situation I was facing.

When I asked if they could call with any cancelation the woman became confused. When I tried to explain the symptoms, the lady accused me of yelling. I could NOT get her to understand and she hung up on me over and over. I begged them to give my # to Dr Brown so I could get a referral and they refused. ITS NOT POSSIBLE FOR AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM TO MORE INSENSITIVE OR MORE UNPROFESSIONAL. SAVE YOURSELF THE YEARS OF $$$$ to be disrespected as your cat is bleeding all over the house. HUGE RAVE!!!! I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Dr Jack Schmidt, Alan and his staff…read moreare AMAZING. We have 6 cats (yes we are the crazy cat people) and he has managed to save not one but two of my fur babies. One of them twice. One accidentally got out and was attacked by what we believe was a raccoon. Dr Jack had to shave him in so many places he looked like he had the mange. 53 stitches and 4 trips later he is back to his normal self. Most recently we took in two strays. Ace and Spade were approximately 5 to six weeks old when one of our other rescues Harvey led us to them. We were having trouble catching them and I called Dr Jack's office and they helped me catch them. They were evidently just thrown out of a vehicle because poor Spade was suffering from malnutrition, had a healing broken bone and we thought she wouldn't survive. Dr Jack brought her back. Her sibling who was probably traumatized still will not let us hold her, with their help at the office Ace will actually come to us now. Which leads me to the second time he saved her. She got out when we were having some work done on the house...she was probably hit by a car. Her little broken bones he took care of with 6 laser treatments. They loved on her as much as we do. He is AMAZING! Im attaching a few pictures. She is now getting around and making a quick recovery. Thank you DR Jack Schmidt! You Rock!

Provided tissues treats for the dog gave me a little jar full of his hair. Than 4 days later I go to pick up his paw print, there was a sympathy card signed by all the staff, as well as another card with the print of his nose and paw. Saying from my nose to my toes I was loved. Had me crying all over again in the park lot. Thanks everyone
