Like any pet owner, I worry about them getting the attention and proper care they need when I am not available. I was thoroughly pleased when I returned. Jewell left a short note each day of what she did and how the cats were each day when she arrived. My cats were happy and content, as if I had never been gone at all. It sure gave me a total peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of while I was gone. Our dog walker has to be someone who is physically strong and also smart and responsible with the way they handle dogs. Terrisa is a pro. She knows what she is doing and we feel completely comfortable leaving her in charge of our furry kids. When we are away, we trust that Terrisa will feed our dogs their special dietary food and give them their proper medication. One time while on vacation, one of our dogs got sick and not only made huge messes all over our place (that Terrisa cleaned up for us without hesitation or complaint) but that also required him to be taken to the vet and acquire medication. Being out the country, my husband and I were in a panic. Terrisa got our dog to the vet right away, got him his meds and nursed him back to health, all while we enjoyed our vacation away. The bad: This place charges A LOT! I have had the impression more than once that finding every opportunity to add charges during an exam is included in their staff training. Also, there is little/no transparency with charges ahead of time. I am putting it out there so people can be aware. We boarded our dogs and paid a lot extra for their "luxury run". It was supposed to have a tv that played soothing videos and be equipped with cameras that we could log into and check on them at our convenience. We were not allowed to see this in person because of "safety protocol" and the morning we checked them in we were informed that the cameras were down. We had no way of knowing if we got anything that we were charged extra for, and we were charged a lot extra. They were unapologetic about this and did not offer to reduce the bill for the services that were not provided. Over $200 for 24 hours and I have no idea if we got anything we payed extra for. Pros: skilled vets and usually can get an appointment quickly Cons: they squeeze you for every dime and you must take it on faith that you are getting what you paid for.

Poor staff communication. At both locations (Peoria and new EP) I was told something over the…read morephone. Only to come in, speak to the manager, who told me something completely different. Both times resulted in my dog unable to participate in day care or boarding and wasted time. Management needs to communicate and train their staff regarding rules, regulation, policies, etc. In regard to the Peoria location, I suppose the day care is alright and the facilities do seem nice and clean. At the end of the day, my dog hasn't seemed as tired (like she has before at another facility) but at least it's socialization and a change in environment. These locations just happen to be closer and useful when my other facility is full. I like the ability to see the live feed but most times I don't see the staff interacting with the dogs. With the new EP location, I'll give them the benefit of being new and continue to give it a few more shots. At my other facility, the staff is friendlier and more knowledgeable, and my dog seems pooped after a day in daycare. But I'm hopeful CBW will work out to be like that too as we all want what's best for our four-legged family.

Play All Day, though, is a totally different kind of boarding. The dogs are active throughout the day, both with other animals and with the people who work here. April is great with dogs of all sorts of personalities, matching them up with other dogs they'll like, and gradually helping them warm up to the new environment. Our dog was very nervous about the daycare/boarding, but she worked with him over several visits, and by the time we picked up him after a 10+ night stay, he... well, he was happy to see us, but I don't think he really wanted to go home! The services here are more expensive than at many other boarding facilities, but we found that it's ultimately an awesome value for the great care that they provide, and the knowledge that our dog isn't just getting fed and let out to potty, but is actually having a great time. We will definitely be using Play All Day again and would recommend to absolutely any dog owner to try them out for daycare or boarding.

I would not hesitate for one second to call and ask if she can come to daycare for any reason. We're wanting to take a vacation, call PAD. We wanted to go to the fair for a day and had no one to let her out at home, called PAD. They really are like a second home to our dog and I'm so glad I called and got on the waiting list when she was only 10 weeks old. We used to use the vet's boarding in town for my older dog and it was awful because he was in a typical concrete kennel with dog barking echoing in his ears for 24 hours a day, only being let out to potty a few times a day. I did not want this for my young dog so I looked for alternatives and this is the complete opposite at PAD. My dog is only crated at nap time and bed time, just like it would be at my house and I know she's so tired from running crazy all day that she probably gets in her crate at daycare and goes right to sleep. Daycare is a 50 minute drive for us one-way and as soon as we turn onto Carver Ln, she's pacing back and forth because she knows we're almost there. We walk in, they say hi to Ruby and she's already racing towards the play door. This is a heart-felt review and I feel like when I drop her off, sounds silly, but it's like dropping a toddler off at grandma's house. You know she'll be taken care of and you don't worry that she's getting into things.

When we pushed on his, Dr. Larson just tried to get us to change our dog to an expensive food. The new vet had him diagnosed on the first visit with 2 separate issues, none of which had anything to do with his diet. It took less than 30 days for this vet to fix his issue when Tender Care just turned a blind eye. Constantly had to go to office visits to have them diagnose the same chronic ear issue that was documented, but they wouldn't give us the meds. The long term meds we needed for this took getting the office manager involved to finally get it done. Now, They state I bounced a check back in Nov. 2025 but will not provide me with proof of this and is expecting payment. I have been trying to get a call back since Jan 2026 when I was notified of the issue. Bad office management, Dr. Larson dismisses patients concerns, prescriptions are impossible to get filled in a timely manner. I've called 3 times and no call backs as of yet. Want to take a bet if I get another invoice this month with no explanation? Isn't that a BBB issue for bad billing practices? Or are we in the business of making money and not taking care of the animals. If that is the case, then maybe you should not be in this field. Because I went to you to take care of my animal and I trusted you and he suffered for years due to laziness and the vet constantly dismissing our concerns.

He…read morehas went longer than 2mths and the groomer we usually go to was out of town, so we went back to them. he is a poodle so he usually can go 4mths without a cut. he was not matted, they just didn't take the time to comb him due to someone else cutting him previously. never had this happen after only 2 months. we have only had poodles. never coming back here! do not come here. they will claim they had to cut him all off to start him over again when our other groomer would not have.
