My 11 month old dog was in an emergency facility throughout the weekend, where she tested positive for Parvo. When the emergency hospital closed on Monday morning, we needed to transfer her to another daytime facility. Our normal vet was unable to take her, because their parvo unit was full. We called multiple vets, and no one would take her. AVC was willing, and saw her within 20 minutes. Within an hour we had a treatment plan, and our girl was admitted. When we arrived, we were greeted immediately with a private room to keep her isolated, and the staff was SO kind. Our sweet pup made a miraculous recovery, and was released within a day and a half. We thought we were going to lose our girl, and AVC helped save her life. Thank you all so much for your kindness, compassion, and attention to our pup. We will be forever grateful.

(We had a tricky eye problem that was solved by U of I with medication.) They also do some basic surgery and their prices are fair. We have boarded our dog several times at Associated Veterinary Clinic and have been very happy with her care. She comes home healthy and happy. They never seem in a hurry when you go in for a yearly visit or a need based visit. I really appreciate that! I have received many personal calls from Dr. Ryan over the years checking on our Stella. We really appreciate being able to interact with her over the phone when working with a medical issue.

The first way we were thankful was in meeting Dr. Whittington. She came in the room and was open, friendly and obviously concerned about our pet. She was a pleasure to meet and she was very direct with her diagnosis and made sure that we understood everything she explained. The second way we were thankful was that our dog did not have a serious injury but Dr. Whittington discovered that our dog had a serious rash on her tummy (from running through the weeds). Dr. Whittington prescribed an antibiotic for allergies which two days later has been extremely helpful. Our pet has not scratched or licked again. The third way in which we were thankful was after mentioning that our dog was on Hydrolized dog food which we order by prescription. we were able to purchase a case of dog food from Tender Care which was very helpful to us.
