I have never had a pet euthanized in my home before - always done at the veterinary clinic -- but for Floyd I wanted him to be at home. Not only did she feed them, clean their litter and play with them, but she took care of our home, took heaps of photos and videos with the funniest captions and sent us daily and detailed updates on our little furry family. Such a relief to know that they were in the best hands and we could simply enjoy ourselves. The daily updates were so funny and creative that we would look forward to them daily! "Ooh ooh ooh, Linda update!" We came home to a tidy house, clean litter, written reports about our cats, the sweetest welcome home card chocolate and very disappointed cats...I don't think they were too happy to see us home and Linda no longer there to spoil them rotten. We all love our pets like family and want the best for them when we are away.....Linda at Misty Blue Kitty Care is the very very best. Thanks so much Linda for your amazing care and personal touches! Completely Unprofessional…read more We were loyal customers of the Pampered Pet until the day we missed an appointment. After many years of bringing our two dogs in for grooming, often three times a year, we missed an appointment. Well, the proprietor called our home and berated the first person who picked up the phone - our 13 year old daughter. She was in tears. We called back and the proprietor hung up on us. Completely unprofessional conduct.

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I witnessed an act of blatant negligence at this place: a dog fell off the grooming table, hung by its leash, and was left choking for nearly 10 seconds before anyone bothered to react. That dog could have died. To make matters worse, my own dog came back with cuts on his inner leg (photo attached). When I called to raise my concerns, the owner herself spoke to me in an unbelievably condescending tone, repeatedly talking over me, dismissing everything I said as if my complaint was beneath her -- and then actually hung up the phone mid-sentence, refusing to even let me finish speaking. What's even more appalling is when I brought up the concern for the other dog, she told me it was "not my concern" and that I had "nothing to do with it." I literally witnessed the entire incident with my own eyes. The fact that she tried to silence me instead of acknowledging the danger made me feel sick about leaving my own dog there. This business is not only dangerous for pets, it's run by an owner who is arrogant, rude, dismissive, and completely incapable of taking accountability. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic care is staggering. Do not trust your pets here. If you value their safety, avoid this place at all costs. This is a reckless, hostile business that has no business being around animals.

She knows the days when we go, can't wait to get in the door and comes home content and tired. The care is excellent, any unusual occurrence is reported to us at days end. One very big benefit of this type of day care is the socialization of the dogs, making them able to interact in a positive way with there peers when out in the community. The staff are respectful and caring. Annalore and Dean will go out of their way to offer support and assistance when the unexpected happens in ones life. We have also used the cage free kennel services without any worries or concerns. We have had 5 previous Labradors and until now had never found a facility that we trusted with our family pet. I would never have agreed for you to do that! When I pointed out that I should have been consulted regardless of how "matted she was", Evelyn gave me an impatient eye roll and said "you said you wanted short" and "how would you like to pay!!" I also said I wanted her top body fur long and there is no excuse for not consulting me before you decide you can traumatize my puppy this way, and then put the blame on me. My puppy was shaking when I saw her at the grooming table. Ellen the groomer clearly does not understand this breed of dog for her to have shaven my Coton de Tulear down this way. The careless and unprofessional attitude shows disregard for the dog as well as disrespect for the owner. NEVER going back and leaving this comment here to save others from the horrendous experience. I don't see a lot of these around the city but they seem to have more in the west end. This store was impeccably clean and well organized. The lady saw us admiring the cow toy and let us know that it also came in a sheep as well. They have an extensive selection of premium dog food in dry, wet, and raw food forms! Almost the entire back of the store is a refrigerated case. There are prepared foods that are cooked and uncooked ones. They had bags of just individual parts so you can mix and match, like quail eggs and chicken feet. Everything looked really clean, moreso than most grocery stores lol. They also have a case of really nicely iced baked goods. Some are birthday and some are just for the season. There were summer ones including really cute squirrels and crabs, almost like the really nice iced cookies you see at Starbucks! They also had other doggy party supplies like hats, bandanas, and bow ties with cute prints.
