Shocking place never come here!! I paid $45 for a wash,…read morebrush and nail clip. Washed not brushed at all. Nails weren't touched. When I complained the groomer cut one nail, my dog wailed and started bleeding all over the place. A disgrace!!!! If you love your dog do not bring it here!!

I had had two great trips here......then today happened. We dropped off our Cavoodle for a half…read morecoat trim, and 7month Havanese for a wash and brush. NO TRIM. We discussed a, 'A' Matt, under his chin with the owner when we dropped him off, add he had been in the mud and I was unable to brush it out. He was shocked as expected the rest of his hair matted due to its length I was confused and said no it's all perfect. Clearly he had no idea of the breed. The owner called and explained that they would need to cut the matt under the chin as it simply couldn't be brushed out and pointed out how lovely the rest of his hair was. I thanked him and said ok. However there is apparently a new groomer and no one was watching her. I know this as I asked the other groomer when I picked them up and started crying. My Havanese (who was not suppose to have a trim!!) has all his beautiful long hair gone! All UNEVENLY cut back under 2inches and one spot bald next to his lip. My show quality dog looks like he just walked in of the street. That was 6months of growth nearly to the floor gone! And my other dog who was suppose to have been trimmed, had an all over shave and face was all unevenly cut. They have both been so happy the other times but today they were not. My baby is still shaking. I will be seeking legal advice and meanwhile trying to let everyone know I can. I have many pictures and I am showing as many people as I can. I am outraged and so emotional.

This from the groomer:…read more Amanda I am shocked to read this post! I am the groomer that groomed your dogs, I have been a professional pet stylist for 24years and consider myself to be very accommodating to what ever to customer wants...however when a dog is dropped off to me with no requests or instructions I cannot read your mind and therefore its obvious you may not get what you want. I ask three questions when a new client is dropped odd and they are "what length do you want?" the answer was "short but not summer short. next question is "so the same length all over" the answer was "yes". And the final question was "so nothing fancy?" the answer was "no" and the girls attitude was very relaxed with no requests at all. Im afraid there was a communication breakdown of your behalf by not supplying the relevant information on how you wanted them groomed. Grooming these "designer dogs" can go either way, if you wanted them groomed like a CKC then thats all you needed to say or better still just buy a cavvy instead of a cross breed.....I can assure you that I know from all my experience that I know EXACTLY what a cavvy looks like and how to do a traditional groom. As for the "shaky hands" statement ( and they are called clippers NOT shavers!), when i was instructed to do them short but not summer short (which would be a #7 blade) I chose to do a clip with a snap on comb to get the longer look which does sometimes come out a little choppy but does settle after a week or so and it comes out choppy because of the cross breed and double coat...a #7F blade would have come out smoother but I was told not to do it short. Google some images of PURE cavvy's and i think you will find most of them do have short and neat feet (its a personal preference). It was not my intention to make them look like "Labradors" feet and could have easily been avoided if I was better informed and "random strands?"......I highly doubt that but I understand your upset. I can only suggest that next time you get your dogs groomed that you be VERY SPECIFIC about the dogs grooming instructions...I have hundreds of customers and they have different needs and requests, I know we do an amazing job but like i said we cant read minds.
