Poppets used to give a great service. I have a big labrador who needed to have his winter fur…read moreremoved (phase one). We had used Poppets in the past and they were good. My lab came back with winter fur still falling off him in clumps. Seriously - as he was walking the clumps fell off him - the same as when we dropped him off. After a few days I would understand, but not on the same afternoon. I specially asked that his nails be clipped and when my husband collected our lab, they had not done this as they said they could not control the very friendly, but big, dog. We had to ask, they did not offer this information. My husband had to hold our dog so they could clip the nails. Surely, if this is your business you should be able to handle a big friendly dog. I left a message on their site with my contact details and called three times and received no answer. They used to be good, but now I will find somewhere that provides the service they advertise. I am really disappointed as I prefer to support local businesses.

His response when I pick him up is almost like me when I have had a ME-day full of pride showing me how beautiful he is and the lovely ribbons in his hair. you do need to book well ahead of time especially around Christmas and the new year but once you are into the routine, just book in the next 6 months so that you know your baby will always well groomed

I was able to stay and wait in the workshop to see everything firsthand which was great, and i can say Jan was wonderful Jan was very professional she has a great set up and she is very patient and did a fantastic job on my little summer. Jan is so kind and caring accommodating and punctual. You will defiantly get your money's worth as Jan goes above and beyond to ensure the job is done to the highest standard and does it so naturally. we will defiantly be going back.
