I paid a premium for a "creekside cabin" which states (per their website) "each cabin comes complete with a flat-screen television, calming color scheme, and custom padded bed." The room my dog was in had no bed for almost an HOUR and the floor was soaking wet. I had to call them to tell them to give her a bed. The bed was just an elevated dog bed made out of PVC pipes. The paint was peeling off of the walls and the room looked like a prison cell. The creekside cabin is also supposed to have cameras. They don't tell you that the cameras turn off for about 9-10 hours a day. If you want to check on your dog between the hours of 9pm-6am, you're out of luck. I also paid for an extra package to have my dog taken outside to go to the bathroom more often. It also included pictures of my dog. They sent me pictures through the metal bars of the kennel where my dog looks distraught. When I picked my dog up and put her in the car, she smelled horrific, as if her skin was rotting. I went home and gave her a bath and her feet were all cut up, she had sores on her legs, and her feet were oozing/bleeding. I had to take her to the vet. Thank god I paid for the insurance here because they had to foot the $500+ bill. She had an ear infection on top of everything else, and had to take medication. When I told the manager about the bait and switch (the room looking like a prison cell), she laughed at me. When I told her my concerns, she said "we'll update the website". Don't send your dogs here. I'm still dealing with the consequences and it's now been 2+ weeks and a couple vet visits.

We have two dogs - a Min Pin and an Australian Kelpie (or some mixed breed herding dog). Before we got the Kelpie, we'd been going to Bailey over a year. Again, other than regular dog stuff - we'd had no issues from daycare or boarding. We even bought her an Edible Arrangement when her granny passed - not relevant to this situation, but to provide context for how much we appreciated her. Our 6yo Min Pin was bitten SEVERAL TIMES by a dog while in her care. Bailey said absolutely nothing. We just happened to discover it once we got home and were taking his sweater off. We reached out several times and got absolutely no response. He ended up having to go to the vet; he had an infection. Again, we reached out...not just for reimbursement, but for clarity on what happened. She did NOT respond to us at all. I'm extremely disappointed in how she handled us. We're not perfect, but we've been overall really good customers and were always flexible. We're not the type of people to "roll up on her," yet, that's exactly what I felt like doing. Our dogs are our family and it's sad and disgusting to know that someone would injure one of our family members and not tell us - especially when they're supposed to be watching and caring for them. We waited about a month to write this review because we've been so upset. Shame on you, Bailey. We deserved better and you know that. Stay away from this place.

I have 100% confidence my dog is well taken care of. She pulls her way in every time I drop her off and comes home tired from day care or longer stays. I don't ask for much, but when I have they are always agreeable. The cherry on top is them offering to drop my shepherd off to me when my car wouldn't start after returning late from a vacation to find my car battery was dead. They genuinely love animals and will care for your dog as if it were your own.

Befor you leave your dog here make sure you're ok that they spend all day in a kennel full of barking dogs After speaking with you the other day I was excited to see your Kennel facility and as I was driving up your driveway yesterday I was even more excited as it seemed like a great place for the dogs. The two girls at the counter were very nice and one of them gave me the tour. The dogs were all in their kennels barking like crazy. Some were jumping and able to see the next kenneled dogs and they were viciously barking at each other. I couldn't understand why the dogs were not able to be outside on a mild day like yesterday. There were dogs that were clearly scared, and this really touched my heart. The fact that the kennels do not have high separation between the dogs makes it very unruly. You have two employees that are at the desk talking to each other and not interacting with the dogs. As I was given the tour I was told the dogs went out 4 times a day for about 20 min for pee breaks. What about play time and nurture time? It looked worse than the shelters. These two employees should be outside with the dogs (in intervals) most of the time ,except for probably an afternoon siesta and then at 7pm for nighttime. I advised the young lady that I could not bring my dogs here. You have an amazing place , and could do so much for these dogs. If you were able to upgrade your facility, you would be able to charge more and people would feel comfortable leaving thier dogs at Kondo Kennel. Maybe also have employees that enjoy being with dogs. The other girl there rolled her eyes at me and told me it was very loud back there. Practically every kennel was full, and every dog there was in thier kennel. They do not have enough stimulation to go in their kennel and sleep. From 10a to 2pm that's a long time for these dogs to be in a kennel. Do the owners of these dogs know this?? I wanted to email you first instead of yelping. This has really touched me.

I have been using lucky dog for a couple of years now, and I have to say when Grace says "we treat…read moreyour pets like family" she is not kidding. Since day 1, Grace has demonstrated genuine interest in getting to know my dog, and making sure she is getting exercised, socialized, and a fair share of mental stimulation. As Kana is my first rescue, Grace has been especially helpful to coordinate with on special training and figuring a good balance between meals and treats. I kind of like to think we "all got to know each other" at the same time, and Kana couldn't be happier getting picked up in the morning, and coming home to us in the afternoon. On top of the personal connection, I have to say that Lucky Dog is reliable and gives me a lot of piece of mind as a full time worker. I know well in advance of holidays, have very reasonable policies, and they really stand out by addressing most of my questions in the same day. Lastly, the Lucky Dog Instagram account keeps me connected with my dog throughout the day. Maybe to sum it up: the last time I moved I based my entire search on being able to stay within Lucky Dog's service range - the quality of life it provides to both my dog and myself is just too good to let go of!

Grace has been a godsend for us and our dog. We adopted a rescue that has severe resource guarding…read moreissues and had not been socialized with people nor dogs. He's a unique dog, and for a while we weren't sure we would ever find someone who could effectively and safely handle him, but Grace was able to not only speak his language - but also safely integrate him into walks with other dogs and help muzzle train him. She quickly became his favorite person and was one of the only people he trusted. Grace went beyond the walks and basic training and would sometimes ask if she could take him overnight to get him used to being around different dogs (hers) and people. He always loves these sleepover and has learned to better read other dogs and communicate as a result. Our boy has come a long way, and we owe so much of that to Grace and Lucky Dog!
