Wonderful delicious vegan. My wife discovered when she picked up some entrees at Mom's. Original food. Very tasty.

Last night, my co-workers and I came into Homegrown for a drink after working at our own restaurant all day (we understand the stress that comes with serving). My friend ordered 2 drinks, to which the blond male bartender said he needs 2 ID's to serve her 2 drinks. She thought he was joking and laughed, but my friend and I both immediately noticed the way he was speaking to her and it was not friendly at all. He kept that negativity through all 3 interactions and never apologized to my friend. About an hour later though, the bartender apologized to the man we were with, who was not part of that conversation and didn't fix any issue. The drink limit is fine, but Homegrown serves us multiple drinks to an order every time we go in so we asked for explanation. There would have been no issue if he had explained why, as we know holidays especially are tough, but he at first just said "he's not playing those games". I asked again, and he told us that he doesn't want to play "drinking roulette" or something along those lines. I said I don't know what that means. That's when he finally explained that all house drinks were doubles, which we didn't know, but he was treating us as if we were trying to play him. It was just so unnecessarily rude and weird when we didn't come at him any type of way. We come in at least twice a week, every week. I love this place and have never had any bad experience. I've seen this bartender before and idk if he was having a bad night, but he certainly put in work to make our night worse. It was just incredibly weird and awkward. To make matters worse, he was only rude to me and my 2 female friends. As I mentioned earlier, there was also 1 man there. Of course, he talked to the man (who had nothing to do with it) and apologized for his actions. You should have apologized to the people you were mean to, not the man. It was a pretty unfortunate experience. Of course ill be back, but hopefully with a different bartender.

It took us a long time to order because there were so many things that looked amazing. A regular customer highly recommended the chicken Caesar salad. We gave in to our cravings and ended up trying the bacun mushroom Swiss burger, the save the ocean fish sandwich, the daily deluxe chicken sandwich and the island breeze smoothie. We totally enjoyed everything and would def have them again. The fish and chicken tasted like fish and chicken. Haha. The burger did not taste exactly like meat but had a meat-like texture and was still a tasty burger that I will order again. The buns and veggies were very fresh, the cheese on the burger was melty and delicious and the sauces/aiolis were perfect. My only tiny ding would be that the fries portion should be larger for the price. But I'll still give them a '5' and we will go back to try the salad, the cheesesteak sandwich, and maybe a couple of their tempting baked goods. Just FYI, there was another group of first-timers that came in right behind us (vegans and non-vegans). They loved their food, too!

I ordered it- it was pretty good, but I would not get it again. If I was in the area, I probably would try this restaurant again and order a hamburger. The restaurant was clean.

Coffee is reasonably priced. I can get a latte for under $5 which is great. I've gotten the vanilla cold brew, sausage egg and cheese on asiago bagel, and other breakfast bagels before. Delicious and affordable. I also love how they do sandwich punch cards! Can't wait to redeem them soon~

I'm…read moreoriginally from New York and these are by far some of the best bagels I've had outside of the New York area. They make all of the bagels on site and fresh every day too. They also have a large selection of bagel types and flavored cream cheese which is another added bonus. So if you're looking for delicious bagels and breakfast sandwiches you're good to go. What they need to work on: Beware of the lunch menu. Today I had the Blue Hen Chicken Sandwich on a sesame bagel. This sandwich is the perfect example of why you should never, ever, microwave grilled chicken. When I ordered the sandwich and saw the server preparing it, I was alarmed when I realized she was putting it in the microwave. But it was too late, it was already made, so I had to eat it (sigh). Not only was the chicken tough, it also had a weird rubber-like consistency to it. What a fail. I should have just ordered a cold cut sandwich on a bagel or a bagel with cream cheese. The only reason why I managed to eat it all was because the bagel was good, so that made up for the fact that it was pretty terrible sandwich. Initially I figured they had a small grill there and I'd wait for it to be grilled. If I had known that they'd take a pre-made piece of chicken (that tasted pretty artificial) and pop it in there, I would've saved my $9. Still, I think this business is worth your support and worth the trip for the basics: bagels, cream cheese and coffee. No pictures today (sigh).
