If I could leave negative stars, I would. They were out of stock of my regular hair so I called for assistance. They directed me to buy a different line which was twice the price and told me that it would be the same texture and match my previous orders, it didn't match at all. I spent double the amount on the hair, knowing that since they told me it work, that it would. Well, it didn't, and I didn't have any extra hair so I had to use it. Now they won't refund me or offer any solutions. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Spend your money elsewhere on hair that is professional and will last, this brand does not. Ordering was quick and easy. Delivery was fast. Text capability with the business is super handy but all in all I have had my synthetic dreads in for less then 24 hrs and they are unraveling. Super bummed. I am going to have to take them out and reseal all of them. The price was low so I didn't expect anything super incredible but I definitely didn't expect them to come apart like this. They were literally just twisted and sealed. Nothing was done to "loc" the dreads (back combing etc...) Really really bummed. read more

I am extremely appalled at the horrendous quality of the synthetic dread extensions I purchased from Doctored Locks. They do not hold up to everyday wear (and certainly wouldn't last through an extended time frame). They are too slippery and not well made at all. They are just twisted and sealed. Nothing that is put together that way will last for any extended amount of time. They lasted a whole 1 hour in my hair (after 4 hours of installing because I had to keep retwisting them), then I took them out because I knew they were not going to hold up. Do NOT purchase your hair here. Go online and spend the money to get good, quality hair. I'm on my 4th set in less than a year, and they instantly tange. I've tried 3 different brands, no difference. They may claim this is Remy hair, but there is no way it is. It tangles on me within 10 minutes of walking out the door. I have to take a brush with me everywhere! And did I mention the shedding? My bathroom floor is absolutely COVERED in hair. When I went in there after the first set to complain, they gave me 20% off a new set. I've spent close to $1000 with them on hair now, and the only thing they can do is give me a percentage off a new set, or tell me to condition it. I take perfect care of this hair, I do everything you are supposed to. I braid it at night, I make sure it's dry, I don't blow dry it on high heat, I deep condition, I use leave in conditioner, etc. and etc. So it's not me, it's the crappy quality hair. I don't know where they are getting the hair from, but my guess is it's China because it is cheap, horrible quality!! Oh, and I ordered a set from their website that cost me over $200 because it was supposed to be handwoven. I did a search on their website for this, and one hair product came up, the Boehm Gold Collection. It was more expensive than the regular Boehm so I thought it must be handwoven. Nope, machine weft. Same crap I just paid more. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. This is the first yelp review I have ever done, I don't have time for this.
