I would like to give a big shout out to Terry Laurin and Happy Campers Kelowna RV Repair Service…read morefor the outstanding customer service they provide. I personally am going through some warranty issues on my new rv and am having a terrible time navigating with the company I purchased through which in turn is taking its toll on my health. Terry being intuitive and in the business for some time now realized things were not going as per specifications and questioned the whole procedure. Upon further investigation realizing I am getting given a total run around and that I truly have no idea of my rights in this situation Terry has taken it upon himself to help me straighten this out. I purchased an interstate motorcycle battery in July, 2020 and used it for three months in 2020. I…read morestored it properly during the winter with my Honda trickle charger and used it again from May until September of 2021. It performed well during this time however during the first week of October it suddenly died. I took it into the Battery Center to have it tested and was advised it was not taking a proper charge to increase the cranking amps. In short this was a defective battery. The owner advised there is only a three month warranty and nothing he could do but offer a replacement of the same battery at a 10% discount. I'm not only disappointed in the battery (will never purchase an interstate battery again) but also poor customer service as this store does not stand behind their product. In my view the store should have replaced this battery or at the least offered a replacement at 50% discount not 10%. Customer service is important, in my case, it wasn't as I wasted $160.00 on this purchase. John Manderson Kelowna.

The appetizers were better than the buffet. But the view on a sunny spring evening was fabulous: Lake Okanagan, rows of boats tied up at the docks, the mountain ridge on the other side of the lake, and the sun hitting the lake just so. And here's the best part: while one of the experts was talking about US-Canada relations, a float plane approaches from the north, circles the lake and lands right in front of the yacht club. Wow! What could be more Canadian?
