Restaurant from the dock.

We had a really nice dinner at this Dockside Restaurant. The Seafood Dip appetizer & the Crack Nuggets were delicious. We all had something different- quesadillas, chicken salad, Philly Cheesesteak etc. It was all good. The Cole slaw was delicious (they brought me a sample before I picked it!) The atmosphere was quiet and fun watching all the boats getting put in the lake. Our waiter Fernando was awesome. Very helpful & attentive & a really cute personality. Last time we were here on a Fri when it's all the catfish you can eat and it was kind of a zoo. I guess it's worth it if you like fried catfish.

My husband introduced me to this place. It was summer, and I really wanted to go out to eat somewhere by the water since it is so hot here. And here we are. New place! I really enjoyed the food , and enjoyed looking at all these boats around. It is kind of away from all things but very cute. People who work there are so friendly. And you can go to this place without worrying too much about the look and shoes since people are dressed there for the boating. I will visit this place again!

Very good food. Run by very good people. The grilled pork loin and the grilled tilapia are the best you'll find anywhere.

Our first time going to Local Goat in Ooltewah. It was wonderful. Everything was so good. Our…read moreserver Moria was exceptional from the service to making us feel welcome. We are from Massachusetts. If this wonderful establishment was near us , it would be on our list of favorite places to go. Local Goat is lucky to have such a dedicated employee in Moria.. Such a nice young lady with lots to offer. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Toni Allard from Massachusetts

You walk in, and before you can even get your bearings, somebody's already pointing you toward a…read moretable like they've been expecting you all day. That's a good start. Now, the place had more noise than a family reunion after someone mentions politics--two teenage softball teams carrying on, laughing, living large. Hard to fault that. Better than silence so thick you can hear your own regrets. Food showed up quick, which is about all you can ask when you're hungry enough to consider eating the menu. And it was good--honest good. Not "tell your mama about it" good, but solid, dependable, "yep, I'd order that again" good. Prices didn't make you feel like you'd just financed somebody's boat, either. Beer was cold--like it ought to be, like it better be--and the waitress understood to be there exactly when we needed her and vanishing when we didn't. That's an art form. Now the atmosphere... well, it had all the charm of a place that once had big decorating plans and then decided, "Eh, this'll do." A little on the bare side. Felt like a Friday night that never quite got dressed up. But I'll tell you this--I'd go back. And that, right there, is about the highest praise you can give a place without writing a love letter to the chef.
