He still took an entire hour out of his day to show us any trailer we wanted, answer all of our questions (my girlfriend had quite a few), and give us his best advice for some first time buyers. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, not pushy at all. When he got to a question he couldn't answer, he gave us an honest "I can't answer that". Not sure if we're buying new or used, but if you are buying, I'd recommend talking to Bobby!

Upon arriving, everyone was of course very friendly. We worked with salesperson David, and he was very kind (if a bit pushy). The second the rig was off the lot, nothing but issues. Their delivery driver told us there was something wrong with the brakes. Has anyone come to inspect or to fix it? No. No one cares. Then, when we finally got the rig hooked up, the air conditioner didn't work. Again, called the dealership with now TWO issues. No calls back, no assistance. I've texted our sales person, made repeated calls, Facebook messages... nothing. Nothing, nothing. Unbelievable, given that this rig is BRAND NEW. The minute we purchased our rig, they were very pushy about immediately leaving a review. Clearly, this is because they don't care once it's off the lot. DO NOT trust them with your business.

We purchased a camper from Camping World in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the entire experience has…read morebeen one headache after another. From the start, they tried to sell me a trailer hitch at full price even though it was discounted on their own website. When I pointed this out, the salesman disappeared to "talk to his manager" and came back claiming the original $1,000 price included installation and labor -- which apparently meant sliding the hitch into the back of my truck for an extra $500. It felt like a scam from the beginning. After signing the paperwork and driving an hour home, they called the next day saying they had "lost" or thrown away our paperwork and wanted us to drive all the way back to fix their mistake. We refused, so they mailed it instead. We took our "new winterized unit" camping the following weekend, and on day one the flow sensor in the tankless hot water heater cracked and leaked water the entire trip. We called our salesman and the service department twice over the weekend and never received a single call back. A month and a half later, someone from Camping World finally called to ask how we liked our purchase. When I explained everything that happened the hitch issue, the lost paperwork, the lack of communication, and the water heater failure they said they'd call back. When they did, the service manager told us to call them so they could "maybe" warranty the issue. Which I do have a text message from our salesman saying " it will for sure be covered" At this point, I wouldn't recommend Camping World in Bowling Green to anyone. Between the upselling games, the poor communication, and the lack of accountability, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

Please read, I never leave positive reviews…read more From the beginning, Ryan in sales was friendly, personable, and actually listened to what we were looking for. We explained what we had in our current trailer, what we liked about it, and what we felt was missing. He nailed the assignment. During our lot tour, he showed us exactly the type of trailers we were looking for instead of wasting our time trying to sell us something else. We found the trailer we wanted but decided to go home and talk it over. There was absolutely no pressure to make a decision that day. While we were there, they also gave us a quote on our trade. A few days later, we decided to move forward and brought our trade back. They inspected it and stood by their original offer. No games and no changing the numbers once we were there. When we returned to pick up our new trailer, it was cleaned up and ready to go. One tire had been flat when we originally looked at it, so they replaced all five tires rather than just replacing the bad one. They recaulked the roof and fixed the small issues we had pointed out during our original walkthrough. Ryan, the technician--not to be confused with Ryan in sales--then walked us through the trailer, showed us how everything worked, and explained where everything was located. During the paperwork, Oliver in finance caught that there was a detail we had not fully understood during the process. Rather than glossing over it and continuing with the sale, he immediately stopped the transaction and brought Ryan from sales back in. Ryan then spoke with Matt, who had handled our trade offer and purchase price. Matt listened to our concern, treated us with respect, and immediately worked with us to make it right. There was no drawn-out back and forth or arguing over the details. We explained the concern, he understood it, and we quickly came to a fair agreement. That says a lot about how a dealership operates when something doesn't go exactly as planned. Ryan (sales), Ryan (tech), Matt, and Oliver were all excellent to work with. I also have to give Ryan, the technician, some extra credit. I brought my own weight-distribution hitch, and when we discovered my hitch ball was the wrong size for the trailer's coupler, he grabbed his tools and helped me install the correct one. Technicians make their money working in the shop, and Ryan spent his own time helping me get everything set up correctly and safely so we could get on the road. He didn't have to do that, and I really appreciated it. To top it all off, the dealership was having a chili cookoff while we were there and invited us to join several times. We had already eaten, so we passed, but it looked great. Apparently, the winner made steak instead of chili. That seems like cheating, but I'll give them points for creativity. From the first time we walked onto the lot until we pulled away with our trailer, we were treated with respect and like we had been doing business with these guys for years. No high-pressure sales tactics, no games with the trade, and when there was a misunderstanding, they addressed it immediately and fairly. I can't say enough about the professionalism, fairness, and people at this dealership. We would absolutely buy from them again.

From start to finish, we were well taken care of. Everything that was promised was delivered…read more During the process, I never felt pressured or rushed. I was able to look at the travel trailer numerous times without question. I highly recommend this business as I have worked with another seller in town and had a terrible experience with the other.

Candy's now called Blue compass…read more I purchased a new Jayco Northpoint from Blue Compass August 2024. I was charged 695.00 for a PDI that was not performed. They even tried to bait and switch me at closing with another Northpoint (they had two on their lot at that time)--thank goodness I noticed the different VIN number. Then they said that the North Point I wanted (even though it was the exact same model... exact same year) they needed another $2,600 to close the sale. On the first night of ownership, we drove the RV to a KY state park only to be awakened at 1:00 a.m. by our camp neighbors knocking on our door as alarms were sounding off. The regulator (which should be part of the PDI inspection) was defective and dumped two of the 40 pound tanks of propane into the RV. This propane issue could have killed us. During the past 365 days we have only been able to use the RV for a total of five camp trips. The first camp night (day of purchase) alarms went off at 1:00 a.m. During the second camp trip the flexible PEX water lines broke and we had the extra expense of calling out a mobile tech. The third camp trip is when the kitchen side would not retract and again we had to pay out-of-pocket for a mobile tech to come out. And the fifth camp trip was scheduled because GE appliance service needed the RV at a park to have a technician come out and evaluate the oven that will not light. The RV has been at Jayco approved service centers more than we have even used it. I am a retired public school teacher and I used my years of savings to buy the RV in hopes of enjoying the last years of my life. This experience has been exactly the opposite. I have been outright lied to by several Blue Compass employees and I would never suggest anybody purchase from them. The kitchen slide would not retract, the roof has bubbles, the side wall seam is coming apart, the bedroom slide has twisted seals and is not parallel to the ground, the slide toppers were not installed correctly and dump water into the windows, the door opens during transit even after it is locked, the GE Profile oven will not light, and we have had several flexible PEX lines burst causing flooding issues...it just goes on and on. We brought the RV back into Blue Compass Bowling Green's -Sister store located in Scottsvile for 9 warranty work items because we were told that Blue Compass Bowling Green did not have a large enough service center ...Please keep in mind that we were told if we bought the RV from them that we would "go to the first of the line if we ever needed service in the future"... Absolutely untrue in my experience. I found out that not only the service manager was "let go" but the financial manager was "let go" and the GM was "let go" too. After the RV was in the Blue Compass service center for approximately one month, we discovered that absolutely nothing had been fixed or corrected. Yet I received notification through the bmpro and my Wi-Fi that my outdoor stair lights and then bedroom lights are being turned on at 2:00 a.m. I also received another notification stating that all three air conditioners were being turned on and left on. Our RV is now back at the Jayco factory in Middlebury IN. It feels like we may never get to use it. When I went to get my RV tags at the DMV....I had to pay more money because Blue Compass did not pay all the title/ taxes/registration costs. The Blue Compass finance manager also asked me to take a loan out even though I did not need one just so they could get a kick back. They required me to hold that loan for 7 months ...which I did ... this cost me more money in interest for the RV. Based on my experience, I have found blue Compass to be an unreputable and dishonest company. I will NEVER spend one more red cent at Blue Compass. I am sharing a life lesson learned the hard way in hopes of preventing others from going thru this. I wish I had known....because then I would not have purchased from Blue Compass.

We began calling Camping World and all the other RV dealerships in the Nashville area, and they were all booked for days. So we kept driving towards Lexington and calling shops on the way until we finally spoke to the guys at Blue Compass (formerly Candy's RV) near Scottsville KY, and they graciously offered to take a look. When we arrived, the shop foreman Jordan dropped the project he was working on and dove in, and within a couple hours had the problem diagnosed and fixed for a reasonable fee. So if the story ended there, what they did for us was exceptional. But it gets better. That night when we arrived at the Kentucky Horse Park campground, we discovered the overhead lights in the dining slideout weren't working. The next day we called Blue Compass, and Jordan immediately admitted that was the one item he didn't think to check before sending us on our way, as those lights are not normally on the same circuit as the fridge. He owned up to the problem, and volunteered to make the 2.5 hour drive to Lexington that night on his own time to make the repair. He showed up at 8pm and worked for another 2-3 hours to get everything working correctly, without one whisper of complaint. I ended up tipping him $250 for his time, something he never asked for or expected. Jordan is a man of integrity who lives out his faith! If we lived in the Bowling Green area, I wouldn't hesitate to have them do all our service work, and highly recommend them.
