A friend recommended I have the boat towed here for repair. Maag's did the repair and WAY overcharged me for parts by about at least $400. I had my trailer serviced this spring on the eastside of Cleveland, they did a great job cleaning the spindels and repacking the bearings so there should have been no issue for the entire season. After trailer the boat 7 times this year (approx 900 miles) this season, both sets of bearings (inner and outer) failed on the driver side this week and I was broke down, JUST LIKE WHAT I WAS TRYING TO PREVENT. I have never seen inner bearing fail on a trailer before. I got the trailer fixed and while driving it home from the parking lot I repaired it at, I realized the passenger bearings were also bad. Cheap parts, over-priced service. The friend who recommended Maag's to me will no longer be using this service. When I called today to complain about this. The owner hung up the phone on me. I-90 Nissan is a good dealership. The cars though; now that's an entirely different matter. Owned a…read more2015 Murano we purchased new. Great SUV while it lasted. BUT, our transmission (CVT) went out at less than 100,000 miles. And to add insult to injury, just had an oil change the week before and had a transmission service (fluid change) last year. At that service visit, they saw no issues or brought any possible concerns to our attention. Our Murano was a peach too! No dents. No dings. No rust. Hand waxed it twice a year, only did touchless carwashes. People always thought it looked much newer than a 2015. Garage kept with regular 5,000 mile oil-changes. Drove less than 9,000 miles per year and 75% of those miles were highway miles. Just so sad the transmission blew. Back in 2015 it was the most expensive new vehicle we ever purchased and last month we sold it for scrap value. Still upset about it. And to put salt in the wound, the Trade-in value was about $4 - $5 thousand if running, - and a little more, $7 - $8 thousand if sold by owner. The trouble is, the Service Dept. quoted us just under $12,000 for a new transmission with installation. So we decided to just bite the bullet and let it go. Scrap it. Just wouldn't make much sense to spend more than double the trade-in value for an 11 year old car (worth half that when running). No issues with this dealer, but we will NEVER own another Nissan product. After talking to some mechanic friends and reading some of the Nissan forums, it turns out that Nissan has had lots and lots of transmission issues on this and other models. They (Nissan) knew full well it was an undersized trans' in a car the size and weight of the Murano; yet THEY KEPT USING IT ??? That's just in-excusable. To be honest, my wife and I both miss the Murano, a lot. We loved the vehicle. But alas, we won't miss Nissan nor the Infiniti brand for very much longer. Unless they start to build some truly reliable vehicles, customers will look AND BUY from other manufactures and Nissan will go the way of Dodo Bird, Saturn, Scion, Plymouth, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, etc., etc., etc. From automotive articles we've read and on-line auto news, it's clear Nissan is already on the ropes, so it's only a matter of time before they get knocked out of the ring. Our advice is stay away from Nissan. It won't end well.

He was excited to take the challenge and learn along the way. The job reached a point where it required tools that we do not have. He knew he needed help so he called our local shop, S&S. We wanted to support an independent, small business in our town. The Owner showed up with a flatbed while my son was still bolting the wheel on. The Owner climbed under the front wheel without being asked, to bolt the tie rod back on. It seemed like good customer service at the time. He took the car and we waited for a call with an estimate. The call never came. The next day they called my son to tell him his car was done, and handed him a bill for $646.10. The Owner charged my son $175 to tow his car 2 blocks to his own shop where they did the work without first discussing with my son what it would cost. My son bought all the parts, they were in the car. My son did 90% of the tear down, with the right tools, which I assume they have, it would have been a 2 hour task at most to install the new axle in and put it all back together. They charged $100 hr, and insisted it took them 4 hours. When I questioned the desk attendant, he told us the owner told him he had to crawl under my son's car and do all kinds of work just to get it on the tow truck. He tightened a bolt. It was 2 minutes of his time, and no one asked him to do it. This is about character. If they're willing to take advantage of a 19 year old young man, how do you think they will treat you, your son, your daughter or your wife?
