This place has a really unique menu and high-quality food, as well as a great location and a quaint atmosphere. This location is quite small and the seating can get really tight. The tables are all quite dainty, although my boyfriend and I did not have problems with fitting our apps and mains on them. The tables have a nifty drawer that stocks chopsticks, napkins, and mini saucers. I would've preferred two things: - That the drawer was on the side facing away from the booth; I usually take the booth seat and it was always on my side, which made it awkward to pull out and get what I wanted given the limited space. - That they also had forks and spoons. Both times we went, we had friendly and quick service that consistently checked on us. Our food always got there super fast. Here are some of the things we got: - Fresh Spring Rolls: These were great, very fresh and vibrant. I'm conflicted with the sauce as it tasted too nutty for me, though I did feel like the sauce still definitely improved the rolls - Deep Fried Spring Rolls: I definitely prefer these to their fresh counterpart. These are your standard fried Viet spring rolls, very good. - Mango Salad with Shrimp: Amazing and much bigger than my boyfriend and I expected. Shrimp and mango is such a great combo, and the peppers add a nice kick. - Hue-Style Spicy Noodle Soup - Assorted Beef & Pork Cuts: This was my furst time having Bún Bò Huế, and it was delightful. Not too spicy at all and the congealed blood had a nice texture (not everyone's cup of tea, but this soup did have it). - Smoked Beef Short Rib & Rare Beef Pho: A stellar noodle dish. They serve the ribs separately so you can choose to add it to your soup or have it separately. Note that this is limited availability per day and that they sometimes run out. Come early if you want to try it. - Grilled Chicken Rice & Fried Egg: My boyfriend had this and really enjoyed it. I tried a bit of the chicken and loved it. - Saigon Special: This is really the star of this restaurant. It's basically a platter of meats, seafood, and veggies, served with rice paper. You put the toppings in the rice paper and make your own rolls. The meat and seafood are cooked perfectly with tons of flavour. This is marked as an appetizer but you could honestly just order this one item as a main as the portions are quite generous. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit. We haven't tried any of the drinks or the satay pho line, but that's next on our list. Keep in mind the small space, and that it can get quite busy so there might be a wait during certain times.

They serve consistently good quality home cooked Korean meals. Last time I went in, I noticed the restaurant was renovated and offers nice in restaurant seating. Meals take around 20 min to prepare, you can call ahead for takeout. The employees are always nice. I got the chicken teriyaki and bulgogi. My fam got the bibimbop and sushi (a newer offer). I am not a huge fan of Kinton Ramen seating as the stools and tables are on the smaller side. It wasn't a huge problem for me as we were only planning to order ramen and eat for a short period of time. We both ordered pork shoyu ramen, and I added extra beef on mine. We also ordered pork gyoza as well. The gyoza was good, and it came with a nice sauce. I also really enjoyed the ramen itself. The ramen came in really hot. Both the pork and beef were really tender and well cooked. I was a little concerned how having two meats in the ramen would affect the broth flavour, but it ended up being incredibly flavourful. I'm not super adept with chopsticks so they were able to provide a fork. I had heard good things about this poke place and made a mental note to visit it. I found out a few weeks ago that Pokeworks has poke bombs. I know them as tofu pockets and love them so much. It's basically a bean curd pocket with sushi rice inside, followed by whatever poke proteins or toppings you'd like. Poke bombs are fairly new here. I decided to drop by last Thursday to get some. This eatery is roughly a fifteen-minute drive from my workplace. I drove here from Markham, which took 55 minutes after the morning rush hour was over. I then headed to work after having an early lunch. There were lots of parking spots at 11 am. Earls and Pokeworks share the same surface parking. I pulled into a parking spot and walked in. Staff all greet you when you walk in. It was a nice touch. I indicated that I wanted to try their poke bombs. The man behind the prep area was genuinely thrilled and said that he'd make four different poke bombs for me. The poke bombs offered are the following: - Salmon - Ahi tuna - Dynamite lobster - California I started with the salmon and ahi tuna poke bombs. Classic poke protein flavours. Solid! The ahi tuna and salmon were exceptionally fresh. I was impressed already! Both proteins were over sushi rice, with soy glaze, sesame seeds, and green onions, in a tofu pocket. They were generous in size and yummy. I got to see the dynamite lobster bomb get torched and then sauced. It was cool. It's the only torched bomb of the lineup. It had a spicy sriracha aioli, but was mild on the spice scale. The sauce was a soy glaze topped with green onions. It was my favourite one because the torching enhanced everything. It was perfection. The California bomb had a large slice of avocado and surimi (imitation crab) on sushi rice in a tofu pocket. It was delicious! The generous avocado with the surimi was so good with the sweet and savoury sauce. I got a drink to wash everything down. I liked the fountain machine. It had a good selection of Diet Coke flavours. I went with the lemon and it was excellent. I was so happy with lemony Diet Coke. It was better than squeezing in a lemon wedge because the lemon flavour was consistent throughout each sip. I used the washroom before I left. It was a single stall and super clean. I had an excellent experience here. I'd like to return and try a poke bowl next. I didn't get the green part. It looked like white coconut beverage. It was a minor detail. However, what I saw on the menu versus what I got was a bit misleading. I liked this drink a lot. As a fruit person, I was hoping that if you are leading with green apple in your drink's name that it's the prominent taste that you get. There were hints of green apple after I had stirred it. The coffee was much stronger, followed by the coconut beverage. It was cold and yummy. I didn't mind the stronger coffee taste. Maybe it's because I've been drinking Vietnamese iced coffee more lately that it has prepared me for this drink. I will probably fair better with a fruit-based drink, as that's my norm. This place is pristine and the decor and design looks both cute and minimalist. It turns out this place specializes in these yummy looking yogurt bowls with fresh fruit toppings, so there's a glass display with all of the different yogurt bases and the fresh fruits you can choose from to complete your bowl. I did not get a yogurt fruit bowl but it is very tempting and I might get some in the near future. I looked at the menu and we were impressed with the variety of options. They had lemon teas and other Chinese teas, rice-based drinks, coffee, and so on. There's information on calories for each drink if you're interested. It kind of reminds me of the variety of drinks they have at To Go Coffee. I ended up having the Guava lemon tea and my boyfriend got the Osmanthus oolong tea. As usual, they let you customize the sugar and ice level. I was quite pleased with my drink. I am very particular about people putting whole fruits in my drink (especially seeded fruits; a few seeds were able to pass through the skinny straw that they gave me which I didn't enjoy). My order: - Angus burger on a multigrain bun - Onion rings - Regular Diet Pepsi I had a gift card loaded to my account and used it to pay. I also earned Scene+ points. I got an estimated pickup time of ten minutes. I would likely get there a bit earlier. It was easy heading east along Highway 7 to get to the restaurant. I made a right turn into the plaza, followed by a left. This eatery has a drive-thru with a fairly long approach. I liked it. This Harvey's is next to Luber, which is, you guessed it, an oil and lube station for your vehicle. So aptly named! There was parking around the building. I appreciated that there were signs indicating that these parking spots were for Harvey's customers. I backed into a spot and headed inside. I saw a huge chicken figure as I walked in. I took a photo of Penny the chicken. It's not every day that you walk into any Harvey's to see a chicken staring at you. She was tied down for security. I frankly don't think folks can steal her. She looks heavy for anyone to carry her out (sorry, Penny!) and it does not look like an easy feat to get Penny out both sets of doors. An exceptionally enthusiastic man behind the counter greeted me. I said that I was likely early picking up my order and indicated that it was under my name. Sure enough, it was ready. Yay! I grabbed the paper bag with my food and my drink from him. I thanked him and headed to the dining area to have an early dinner. Harvey's only gives you two options when you order online or through the app: - Takeout - Delivery There isn't a dine-in option. I end up doing the takeout option and sitting down with my food. It works. You simply don't get a tray and no one looks at your funny because you have bagged food. I loved my angus burger. I was rusty ordering it, though. I forgot to add lettuce and cucumbers. I oddly got relish down, so I wasn't ignoring anything green. I simply don't visit Harvey's as often as I should. Anyway, the multigrain bun was perfect. The angus beef was juicy and yummy. I loved the garlic mayo, relish, and tomato slices. It hit the spot. I do feel that the burgers are getting smaller. Maybe I need to get two burgers instead. The onion rings were excellent. The different thing about Harvey's is that you get to decide the veggies and sauces for your sandwiches. As expected I got the side order of fries with it. The taste of both the sandwiches were below par. I tried changing the sauces but still never felt the vibe I needed from the food. The staff was friendly even-though the place looked really deserted. The fries on the other hand was really good in taste. In short , Harvey's is definitely not there in my go to list when it comes to late night food. Definite MISS !!!
