He left concrete-laden hand prints all over my newly painted siding & fresh concrete all over my brick patio. 3- He told me I could paint the repair the next day when in fact concrete needs to cure for 30 days before sealing. 4- DOES NOT GUARANTEE HIS WORK which means no recourse for the consumer. There were also some mold spots on the walls. I called WBS and a man came out in a couple days and defined what needed to be done to fix the problem. He sent an estimate the next morning clearly stating what needed to be done and I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of work needed. From there everything went like clockwork . Elana in the office was super and got everything scheduled . The workmen showed up on time ,as scheduled. Covered all the walkway areas they used to go back and forth. They were knowledgeable and completed the job as outlined in the estimate. Very courteous and polite. Wow! What a truly great experience working with this local family company. My husband and I knew…read morethat we needed to redo the insulation and drainage in our basement and researched local companies. We were impressed with what we heard and read about Wilcox Basement Systems so contacted them for an estimate. After a very thorough inspection of our basement and a very detailed explanation of options, we decided to schedule them to redo the insulation in our basement with the basement to beautiful system. We also had a dehumidifier and a new sump pump with drainage added. One thing I loved about them is they showed up when they said they would, on time, and put in full days to make sure the job was getting done in a timely manner. Anne kept me up-to-date by text every single day to let me know what they'd completed and what was next in the queue. All interactions I had with every member of the family who worked at my home was genuine and pleasant. Additionally, even though they ran into an unexpectedly thick basement floor and had to use a special tool for the trench in the basement, they still somehow managed to finish on time.. Another thing I found very impressive is they actually left any space they used cleaner than they found it. My basement floor and the basement windows were immaculate when the job was finished. They used our garage to cut the insulation boards on a day when it was quite rainy and swept out our entire garage; not just any insulation bits that happened to fall on the floor...the entire floor! There's always a certain level of mess when you're having any type of renovation done, especially if you have cement jackhammered, but the amount of cleaning I had to do afterwards was minimal in part due to the fact that they took precautions to try to keep the rest of my house as clean as possible, and contain the mess to only the basement (which they then cleaned as soon as the job was done). I can't recommend this company highly enough! I know we will be enjoying the work they did for many many years to come and I appreciate the quality job they did.
