There were also some mold spots on the walls. I called WBS and a man came out in a couple days and defined what needed to be done to fix the problem. He sent an estimate the next morning clearly stating what needed to be done and I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of work needed. From there everything went like clockwork . Elana in the office was super and got everything scheduled . The workmen showed up on time ,as scheduled. Covered all the walkway areas they used to go back and forth. They were knowledgeable and completed the job as outlined in the estimate. Very courteous and polite. Wet Basement Solutions was a delight to work with and I would highly recommend them for anyone's wet basement or mold issues.

I think what set these guys apart was the customer service... before, during & after the install, Eric kept us in the loop with everything that was happening, from the proposal, to the contract signing. He took the time to explain the process, and show us the product. There was no pushy upsell or sign now gimmick. We felt like he truly understood our needs and wants and was willing to meet our request. (which they did very well throughout the install) During the install, Eric stopped by multiple times to ensure we were happy with everything. once the project was completed, Eric stopped out again to ensure all needs were met and project was satisfactory. The Techs were kind and polite. they were respectful and carful working around newly installed materials and flower beds. they picked up, cleaned up and made it look like they were never at our house. This is an old style roofer who does quality work without over-inflating the costs. The general manager of American Roofing, Edward Purcell Sr. is not afraid of difficult roofs or jobs. And he is also capable of extraordinary generosity. When my elderly neighbor's crumbling, collapsing roof made the news it was Edward Purcell of American Roofing Co. who stepped forward, donated lumber and time, gathered donations of shingles from Erie Materials, felt from ABC Supply Co. and organized other roofers to volunteer crew. Not all came through, the Roofing Guys reneged, leaving Ed Purcell and his small crew to a daunting task. But in spite of this setback Mr. Purcell remained true to his word, sacrificing other jobs to get this roof done. The job American Roofing's Ed Purcell and his crew have done on this old crumbling and difficult roof with its three dormers is simply amazing. Boards straight and true, corners tight. He has saved a beautiful roof.
