To be quite honest, they did no plumbing for me, but that's a good thing!! This company is honest and trustworthy- use them. I will call them for my future plumbing needs. I though I needed to fix a dripping shower faucet, but Cole explained that it was normal and that I didn't need to. He also checked pressure at my home to make sure that we were good. In June, our family was looking for a plumber right away after we found out our new washer/dryer laundry center could not be installed because of our old water valves were frozen and could not be safely turned off without risking a break and leaking downstairs to our townhouse neighbors. I called Cole, who answered immediately. I told him of our water valve situation. I also asked him about fixing our long neglected toilet that ran excessively loud after flushing. Texted him pictures of both plumbing issues, called me back right away, gave me a reasonable quote (included the labor, supplies and clean-up) and after reviewing the pictures he confirmed he will need to cut the wall for the water valve replacements. He was able to schedule us the next morning. Cole arrived on time, polite, got to work right away, efficient and answered any questions I had. I do have to add that he, himself does not repair drywall, as he had to cut into our wall for the repairs. He did refer me to a company who does wall repairs, but I decided to go with someone else. Cole also provided excellent customer service, as I had called him again because after he replaced the toilet guts, the tank was not filling up with water after every 15 flushes. Contractor did contact me and asked for pictures, which I sent but no reply, I even gave them a call to see if they received my emails, crickets... we had a plumbing issue in may 2020--at the height of pandemic fears. after calling many plumbers, i found most to be not responsive or quoting extra exorbitant prices which i knew to be too high. fortunately i saw the high ratings for cole at DIRP and gave him a call. he warned me that some things may need replacing, but was totally flexible in trying out some repairs (instead of replacing) to see if we could save money. unlike many other plumbers, he took the time to listen to me and work with me. luckily one (a very low profile toilet which would be hard to replace in hawaii) out of two items could be repaired. he and his staff did an great job. the security cams showed them practicing very safe masking techniques at my elderly mother's house and doing everything quickly and honestly. i was grateful as we were all worried about any germs entering the home. i was able to pay via internet/email and the price was far better than if i had gone with other companies. as a result of his quoted work being more favorable than other plumbers, we were able to afford upgrade work to avoid future problems on my laundry valves. do it rite plumbing deserves the five stars (while many others, in my opinion, do not). they do it well, quickly, they show up on time, they answer the phones and return messages/texts, and they LISTEN to the customer (even if i'm not always right!). it's been almost a year--and all the repairs he did are all in beautiful shape. thank you DIRP and staff! this month, we have another small problem in the kitchen and, while no one enjoys calling the plumber, i will actually have a warm happy feeling to have these guys come back and help my elderly mom out again. read more

I'll say that do it right plumbing looks out for their customer best interest in preforming and getting job done in a reasonable cost. My toilet was backing up so I decided to snake it my self to unclog it and a week later the toilet started making gurgling sounds when using the sink. So called Do It Right Plumbing to have a camera inspection of my sewer line to see what kind issue I'm having. It appears to be a collapse line. Cole came out to go over a plan to pair it. at first he recommend digging it up. My concern was, I just redone tile in the bathroom and hallway on other side of toilet. But he said, let me camera the line to see how bad it was for him self. He talked to his partner that dose the sewer pip re-line. They said that they can re-line. instead of digging it up. read more

Had water heater leak and come to find out with Cole's expertise I had other plumbing issues. Was pleased that he tended to my problems right away and didn't make me wait to the next day to assist. It was later in the pm and he still went to my Waianae home. It was an emergency. Had to shut off the main valve and there was no water. He temporarily fixed the issue and was able to get water. He came and completed the work the following day. He took care of all issues and even sent photos and video to show the quality work done and completed.
