A couple days later when i came to get the car i paid the lot fee and got my keys which had scratches all over the FOB, I could obviously tell that it had been dropped by the piece of tape holding my key together. When i finally got in my car my license plate bolts were not in my car or in their spot and i was only givin 2 bolts to use for 2 plates (they require 2 bolts minimum per plate so i can drive according to the law) When i was ready to leave their was a mercedes parked in front of me that nobody could get to start and i had to wait for their tow truck driver to try and start it he was unsuccessful. He had to resort to grabbing a tractor and pushing the car next to me out of the way allowing me to make 10 3 point turns to get out of there. My wife and I went to Tony Rotella's shop today for a NYS Inspection. Checked in at one of their…read moreservice desks without any waiting. Very nice guy took care of us quickly and showed us the comfortable waiting area and he explained where the bathrooms were should we need them. Not long thereafter he came over to the waiting area to let us know that we were all set. We checked out with the same nice person (I should have gotten his name) paid for the inspection, and we were on our way. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the clean, comfortable waiting area, the large show room, and we observed that all staff were friendly and they obviously like working at Tony Rotella's. One of the most important things in any business setting is a great culture and they obviously have one and it shows. One other thing I wanted to share that I witnessed while waiting. I overheard one of the staff members on the telephone with what must have been an insurance company. This staff member was in a deep "professional" debate with the insurance company trying to convince them to pay for more for a body shop repair, so the customer didn't have to come out of pocket as much. It was nice to see one of Tony Rotella's staff members fighting for their customer's best interest. He was also very nice in how he was presenting his case, yet firm as well and would not back down. If I'm ever in that scenario, I want a guy like that fighting for my best interest as well. If we ever need body work done (and I hope, we don't) there is no other place I'd bring our car than Tony Rotella's after what I witnessed this morning. We'll also come back in the summer for new brakes and new tires as we've heard from several friends that they are great with that type of service and the pricing is very good as well.
