NFL Draft season.. here we go! I want to thank Action Sportswear's Fanatic U for carrying Detroit…read moreLions officially licensed gear and sports memorabilia! I am happy that Fanatic U carries the Detroit Lions' NFL and G-III Sports officially licensed "Beverly Hills Edition" letterman coat. When I saw NFL's future Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson and NFL quarterback Jared Goff wearing the Detroit Lions "Beverly Hills Edition" jacket... I knew I had to find this great iconic jacket. I placed and received my order for the Detroit Lions "Beverly Hills Edition" jacket from Fanatic U not long ago. I had a question after my purchase and there was a prompt correspondence that addressed my inquiry. Excellent customer service! I am really happy with this order and I've gotten positive feedback about this jacket. Me being late to the boat in finding out about this jacket... it was a "hard find" and Fanatic U was the one store I found that carries this "official release." There are online stores that used "photos" of this coat, but are not the officially licensed "Beverly Hills Edition" jacket. When I found Fanatic U carried it and I read the details of the Detroit Lions "Beverly Hills Edition" jacket description and saw that Fanatic U is based out of the Motor City... I knew that this store is the "real deal" for Detroit Lions gear and sports memorabilia. I had to get this "Beverly Hills Edition" jacket! Fanatic U rocks! I plan to shop again and again at Fanatic U! Kind regards, Jason Tom Detroit Lions' fan from Honolulu

Beware - Greasy Tactics and Counterfeit Items at an "Authentic" Collectibles Show…read more I attended a Card Show hosted by Pro Sports Zone, which markets itself as an authentic collectibles store. To my shock, counterfeit Labubu figures were being sold right on the store owner's table. When I informed the owner, he brushed it off, saying, "It's not my problem -- the jewelry guy is selling them." The reality? He was selling them for that vendor, on his own table, while the vendor failed to disclose they were fakes. When confronted about selling counterfeits at an event advertised for authentic items, he claimed it wasn't his responsibility to verify authenticity -- an incredibly greasy and unprofessional stance for a so-called collectibles expert. On a separate review page the owner tried to skirt responsibility by saying he was only a vendor, but didn't include that he was the proprietor of the vendor show and allowed the counterfeits to be put on his own table. This disregard for integrity is unacceptable. I have reported Pro Sports Zone to the FTC, the Attorney General, and Popmart's copyright infringement department. If you value authenticity, ethics, and respect for the collecting community, avoid Pro Sports Zone and any events it hosts. Supporting counterfeit sales -- and then dodging responsibility -- is the lowest form of business.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…read more.. Perani's helped my husband a great deal by adjusting the pitch on his skates and pushing him more onto his toes. This has improved his speed, and reduced his back pain while skating/playing hockey. It is a much cheaper and much more practical alternative to inserts. Unfortunately, whoever got ahold of my skates had no clue what they were doing. I have the good ole CCM V08's with rocket runner blades. Rocket runners were short lived, but instead of swapping out my blade and chassis to the tune of $150, I live with them because overall, I think it's a pretty nice blade and my skates are incredibly light. Anyway, I (or my husband) always ask if the sharpener knows what they're doing because you can't just throw the skate in a normal 3mm jig and go to town. The guy here assured the hubs that he knew what he was doing, then threw the skate in the jig and went to town. Because you can do this with goalie jigs (sometimes), we thought maybe it would be ok. Wrong! I hit the ice for an open skate and something felt horribly wrong. My left foot shimmied, and I felt like I had no control over my feet. I have played hockey for 15 years. I know what a bad sharpening feels like because this wasn't the first time it happened. I thought maybe if I beat on them a bit to dull the blades up it would get better. Wrong again! I could use my right blade okay, but it wasn't the same. When I tried to stop on my left blade (going the speed of a small child who can't skate), I caught an edge, flew through the air, and landed on my wrist. Luckily Botsford ER was just down the street (review on this to come next) and I found out that I did not have a break, just a bad sprain. I brought my skates in somewhere else the next day to get them fixed and (after interviewing the guy on how to sharpen Rocket Runners and being satisfied that he knew what to do) I was advised that my right blade was "usable" and my left blade was mangled. Since my blades have limited sharpenings in them due to their slim nature, the guy said to take enough off to fix it, it would basically be losing 4-5 sharpenings. Neat! Moral of the story- if you have a unique blade on your skate, bring in a questionnaire before handing them over to the sharpeners at Peranis. But, if you need a new pitch, you should be good to go.
