Same as Olga, I have been shopping at this deli in the Cohoes, and then Colonie location prior to their move to Latham.

Bella Napoli - Poor vanilla cup cake didn't like falling off my seat on the way home. Still epic taste nonetheless!

Everything always tastes fresh, and it's honestly hard to pick a favorite. I love their cannolis and cupcakes, but you really can't go wrong with anything in the case. They also have awesome Italian subs, which you can eat right there in the store or grab to go. It can definitely get busy, but the staff is always super friendly and they know how to keep the line moving fast. Highly recommend stopping in, whether you're grabbing lunch or just looking for a sweet treat. It's got that good old home town vibe with the old fashion counter for eating at.

I picked up two Valentine's Day cookies, a lobster tail, and two large cannolis--items I've enjoyed from them in the past. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark. The lobster tail was soggy and lacked the crisp crunch I normally expect, and the cannolis were also soggy. That was especially disappointing because those are usually my favorites. The Valentine's Day cookies looked cute, but underneath the frosting they were dry and pretty flavorless. I really wanted to love everything, especially since I've had such great experiences here before, but this time the quality just wasn't there. I'm hoping this was just an off day, because I know how good Bella Napoli can be.

I've tried 2 different ravioli (beef and pesto) they were incredible. If you love olives they have the best olive bar, the selection is extensive imo, I'm kind of an olive snob and these fit my criteria for perfect olives. The tuna mac, best I've ever had. All of the salads we tried have been incredible (Caprese, potatoe, cucumber, antipasto) AMAZING!! The hot food bar, has so many options for quick take home hot meals. The butcher shop has just what you expect. Last visit we ordered sandwiches and ate in the cute little cafe seating area. The store is well set up and the staff is so friendly. 1 million out of 10 recommend this store.

Since I was currently listing to Food Friday on WAMC and hearing Chef Ric Orlando talk about all these different Italian dishes, the first thing that came to mind was to ask for a hot meatball sandwich. And so, she stopped at Cardona's to fulfill my request. It turned out they had hot Meatball Parm subs, small $12; large $15. I figured a large might provide leftovers. When I saw what she brought home I said "this large is definitely a two meal sub." Well, after I cut it in half and started on the first half I was surprised that the meat was not heavy. The large meatballs were not overly dense but still seemed solid. The melted parm on top was just enough to add additional flavor, and the tomato sauce was very good. The roll had a nice flavor and was sturdy enough to hold all its contents. The only negative I decided was that a little bit of the roll at each end got chewy and hard after the heating and transportation process. The biggest surprise came after finishing the first half. I thought, "I could probably finish that other half right now and enjoy it." And so, I did! YUM!

I was out running errands around lunchtime and wanted something other than a typical fast food stop like 5 Guys. I had eaten at Saati Deli before and since I was already in the plaza, I decided to go there. There were a few people in line and a few waiting for orders. I grabbed a soda and when it was my turn, an employee was moving around behind the counter but did not acknowledge me. It only took a few minutes for a woman to come over and ask if I had been helped. She took my order, a turkey and Swiss on toasted rye with fries, and I paid. My order took a little longer than expected. When my sandwich was brought out, the fries were missing. The employee realized it and went to get them, but there was a brief mix up before the correct order was brought out. It was not a big deal for me since I was not in a hurry, and I have eaten here before without delays, so this may have just been an off day. I had more errands to run and did not eat right away. By the time I got home, the fries were still warm, which impressed me. The sandwich was tasty as always and the fries were very good. My order was correct and the food quality was exactly why I keep coming back. I have also been at events that Saati has catered, and the food has always been very good there as well. The space inside is a bit small, but I do not mind that. What stands out less positively is the customer service. Several other reviewers have mentioned the staff not being very friendly, and I would agree. The interaction feels less than businesslike, more like they will get you your food but without much engagement. A little more warmth would go a long way. Prices are on the higher side, but that comes with freshly prepared food and I am fine with that, especially when supporting a local business instead of a big chain. I will return because I do enjoy the food and appreciate having a local option like this. With more consistent friendliness, this place could really elevate the overall experience. 4 stars.

While the place may not be large, they offer a fairly big menu consisting of popular apps/sides (potato knishes, falafel, hummus, grape leaves), breakfast sandwiches (perfect to head into work with), soups, salads, sandwiches, bowls, and by-the-pound deli meats, cheeses, salads, and smoked fish. The casual deli experience is inclusive of the short wait time and straightforward efficient service. With only a few tables located at the back of the deli, it is likely best to dine in during an off time or just take it all togo. While I've only visited this location in Latham, Saati is also present in Albany. Head in and try one of my recommendations: the NY Style Hot Corned Beef Sandwich, Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich, or the Lox and Cream Cheese Sandwich...all that comes with a side though very small...choose from potato salad, macaroni salad, or cole slaw.

It was good to know the turkey is roasted "in house." I took half home. In my opinion, the prices are not only fair but on the low side for the quality of food served. My sandwich was only $9.99 with chips and a pickle spear. Side salads are inexpensive and delicious I hear. The two sided laminated menu was easy to navigate. Specials of the day are posted at the entrance. Service was prompt and friendly. The charming cafe is located at the end of a strip of businesses off Rt. 7 near the Galleria 7 Food Court. There are many tables and a full bar in a well lit inside seating area. In addition, there is a great patio with nice planters on one side. Lots of parking. Easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. Looking forward to returning for a Panini, or soup, or salad, or breakfast sandwich. I will check out the catering menu to use in future. A lifetime of love, recipes, and ideas have gone into this company, and I am fortunate to have found a dedicated team to help make this dream a reality.
