(Cross posted on Google reviews) We contacted Roger to…read morereplace the current wooden posts and railings on our porch, which were starting rot, with new vinyl ones. His quote was fair and reasonable and clearly defined parts vs. labor. He completed the job in 2.5 days (due to daylights savings time reducing the amount of sunlight on what would have likely normally been a 2 day job), and he was very thorough. The railings and posts look great, and it is the finishing touch on our house that really pulls it all together. Roger was polite and respectful and very communicative. I would definitely recommend him!

I first got in touch with the owner, Roger at Braunscapes to rebuild our deck. We found the…read moreexisting deck had some rotted posts and was not level anymore due to some poor construction from the last builder. The other issue we needed to address was all the dirt was graded toward the house to accommodate escaping a window well underneath the deck. This actually caused 2 problems, the rain water would pool into the house and cause high humidity and sometimes water in my basement. Also, having the well under the deck was against fire code without some sort of hatch. So Roger helped me come up with a great solution to build a patio at ground level and up against the window well, and then have the deck step down to the patio. He helped me with the design and was very hands-on in helping me develop a patio/deck we really liked. It turned out great and looks awesome. He worked through the heat in July but never cut any corners. I know because I asked 100 questions and he answered them all for me. I can say the deck is perfectly level and probably bomb proof. The patio turned out better than we could hope for. I'll be coming back for some landscape work next year knowing Roger's pride in his work. Thanks man!

Unfortunately now I have to resort to doing this and probably taking him to small claims court, which he knows is a waste of my time for $250, but what he doesn't know is I will do it for the principal. I hope this review and the others I'm going to write will warn others and hopefully prevent him from doing this to anyone else.

I additionally received estimates from two competitors but decided on Deck and Fence Solutions. Wilfredo came out personally and explained the job and outcome (unlike other companies that FaceTime and hire contractors to do the work). The work was completed in a timely fashion and all debris removed. Once completed we did a walkthrough and as promised my new white vinyl fence is perfectly aligned and beautiful. The fence is high quality and reasonably price. If you're looking for honest professionals providing quality service look no further.

I hired this company for deck repairs, and initially the experience was positive. The work was…read morecompleted on time, the price was reasonable, and I was satisfied with the results. Unfortunately, within a few months, several quality issues began to appear. Screws started popping out, deck boards began lifting, and some of the boards and railing showed signs of deterioration. I sent multiple texts and emails, including photos documenting the problems. To their credit, they responded to one text and sent someone out to secure a completely loose floorboard that, surprisingly, had never been screwed down. However, after that visit, my additional attempts to contact them went unanswered. I even asked that they simply let me know if they had no intention of addressing the problems, but I did not receive the courtesy of a response. At this point, it appears I will need to hire another company to repair their work. Chuck Kurth, one of the owners of Two Brothers Residential, Maintenance and Service Corporation, presented himself as knowledgeable and reputable before I hired the company, which made this experience especially disappointing. A contractor's reputation is built not only on the initial job but also on standing behind their work. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. As a result, they will not be receiving any future business from me, and I would not recommend them to others in my HOA.

Arcwood Outdoor…read moreSolutions was 1 of 7 quotes from local contractors I received to resurface my deck and stairs with Trex composite deck boards and also replace the railing with glass and cable railing last summer. To say I shopped out the quoting process would be an understatement. Jeff's quote was very fair, easy to understand, and on the lower $ range due to not having the overhead of most other companies. In the end, I decided to go with Archwood for my project and I'm so glad I did. Unlike most other contractors who over quote and rush through the job to maximize profits, Jeff will take whatever time is needed to do the job right...period. Here is the thing that is pretty rare: he listens AND is patient. Any concerns I had along through the project as I'm anal when it comes to details and perfection and any changes I wanted to make during the project, he not only listened, but he made sure my concerns were completely addressed each and every instance. I can't speak highly enough of the character of this young man. In my case, he underbid my job with the time it took for him to complete this big project and because he went over and above on getting the job done right to my satisfaction, I gave him a 60% cash bonus because he flat out deserved it. The deck looks incredible. In sum, Jeff and Archwood was not the fastest option as he does the majority of the work himself, but if you want the job done right by a man who is meticulous with details, with integrity and pride of doing great quality work (as if it was his own home), Jeff is the man for the job. Highly recommended!!!

We have a very large raised 3 story trex deck with rotting cedar railings. Called numerous companies for a railing replacement and the majority would only consider new deck replacement and were not interested, even though this was a big job. We were replacing the cedar with aluminum railings. Dan came by numerous times over a period of months during the planning stages to get us exactly what we wanted for a fair price. He secured samples, talked about the options, was prompt, professional and helpful in all ways. He was quite busy and at one point we assumed that the job wouldn't be done until the early spring. We were fine with that as we didn't need the use of the deck during the winter. Low and behold, here comes Dan and Bill in December ready to start. Permits were secured and no matter the weather those guys were out there working. Before long the rotten cedar railing was replaced with aluminum and look absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend Partipillo Deck and Fence and quarantee that you will have as good of an experience as we did! Wish all businesses operated as they did!
