This is probably one of the worst meals I've had this year…read more First off, my friends had been here the year before and loved it. So I joined them for dinner this year. A few good things - the restaurant is very lovely- large space, beautifully designed, open kitchen to see the cooks, and the staff were lovely! But the food, oh man. First, if you want to order paella, do so right away as they tell you it takes 40minutes. That way once you're done with apps and chatting with your friends, it will be done Ok - food wise, we ordered a bunch of apps and the mushroom paella (there was a vegetarian in the group). - the beet & ricotta app/bread. This was tiny - like half a beet chopped up, with a fig, and a few dollops of ricotta that had limited taste - the salmon tartare (probably the best app) had salmon, a few capers, and razor thin chips - patatas bravas - a potato dish. Meh. At least the potatoes were crispy. - the mushroom paella- no taste lol. I had one scoop and honestly that was enough for me. There was plenty leftover. Even tried adding hot sauce but it couldn't save the dish Save your appetite and money.

Food was on the pricier side but not as expensive as I thought per other reviews. Great service. I'd come back to try the paella and other drinks.

Was seated in their dinning hall ( the other side is more of a bar) and ordered a brunch tower for two. The tower includes their signature malaysian scrambled eggs, chorizo sausage, bacon, Brussel sprouts, toast with buttermilk pancakes stacked at top of the tower. The tower was beautifully presented and what I love most about the tower is their pancakes. Truly fluffy and light with whipped cream on top of it. Overall, service was efficient and attentive, often checked on and refilling water. On top of that, the restaurant has great decor and parking is provided in the back of the restaurant. Its considered on a slightly higher end for brunch ($20-30 range), but it was truly an amazing experience. They also have daily promos so worth checking out for dinner and late night deals.

I must say that I do understand why people are drawn to the restaurant - it is very pretty and makes for wonderful pictures! This includes the lovely visuals of the food, which is beautifully presented and extremely photogenic. The taste of the food, although quite acceptable, fell just a bit short of its looks. The variety of colours was not matched with a variety of flavours, and everything was somewhat on the salty and greasy side. That being said, we very much enjoyed the potato hash, pancakes, and French toast. The portion sizes also outdid themselves - if you're coming here for brunch, just be prepared for a long nap in the afternoon! Service was excellent: prompt, helpful, and friendly. The interior is fairly spacious and elegantly decorated. Overall, a pleasant experience even if it's not the most spectacular - and perhaps worth a visit for some based on the aesthetics alone.

However, we did end up getting seated - maybe about 20 minutes after arriving. We tried out a bunch of dishes including all the skewers, oysters, scallop, potatoes, and more. We ordered the Grilled Sausage, Beef, Pork Belly, Lamb Skewers, and Charcoal Grilled Oysters. The skewers were all solid, better than most places I've tried, and I especially enjoyed their spicy seasoning blend that adds great flavour to the BBQ meats. Surprisingly, the grilled sausage was my favourite, it was juicy with a nice snap and a slightly sweet yet savoury taste. The lamb, however, was a bit too gamy for my liking. The Charcoal Grilled Oysters were tasty but felt a bit overpriced for the portion size, garnished with the usual chilli and garlic sauce you find at most BBQ spots. Service was decent, with food arriving fairly quickly (around 15 minutes) after ordering via QR code. The seating is a little tight and the chairs are on the low side, but still comfortable enough. Getting seated right away in the evening is nearly impossible, so I recommend calling ahead or arriving early to secure a spot. The bar's cozy atmosphere enhanced by the dim lighting, wooden decor, and playful wall doodles adds to the overall experience.

I love that there are these big patches of grass like plants that they use to separate each table, giving more privacy to everyone. The drinks here are definitely the highlight, since they're so beautiful and tasty. Can't remember the name of all the drinks, but just know that every single drink that was ordered at the table as so beautiful and so delicious. Really can't go wrong. The only thing that you need to avoid is their shaved ice dessert. It's literally chunks of ice with kellogs cereal. I was thinking it would be more of a bingsu texture but was quite disappointed. It didn't cost much and it's not known for a Korean bar to have this anyway, so just take it a tip not to order this one thing. Everything else was great and can't wait to go back!

The restaurant is brightly lit with lots of natural sunlight, the decor is a mix of elegance and rustic at the same time. It's got an open and inviting feel. Our server was fantastic - very patient with a large group like ours, able to tell us right off the bat what is and is not customizable, recommendations of when to order to ensure flow works out. Food: Charbroiled octopus - one of my favorite dishes I tried - perfectly cooked, has a nice char, good meaty bits but not chewy, has a really nice chili oil on it. I can not stress how much I recommend getting this if you enjoy seafood. 5/5. Chorizo appetizer - comes out in a little pig plate with an open flame underneath. The chorizo itself is good with a nice spice, dense meat. The best part of this dish (IMO) is the spiced apple sauce on the side that cuts the richness of the sausage with a sweet and tangy apple and a little spice kick. 4.5/5. Bread - fresh baked bread with butter, a pumpkin jam and cheese. Everything on that plate works so well together. I definitely recommend this as an all rounding pleasing appetizer - 5/5. Beets - the beets were fresh with a vibrant orange colour. The apple, walnut and goat cheese all work together. I do wish this dish had a bit more but it works. 4.5/5. Brussel sprouts - amazing deep fried brussel sprouts - makes me want to always deep fry them for life. The spicy harissa sauce works well with the sprouts. Crunchy peanuts on top add both a texture and nuttiness that is refreshing to the brussel sprouts. 5/5. Oysters - super fresh, absolutely delicious without any condiments needed. Loved them. 5/5. Paella - this is definitely large enough for 2 people to eat so consider sharing unless you have a monster appetite. As with all their plates, it is beautifully constructed. The shrimp are huge and meaty. Mussels are plentiful, lots of chorizo and bay scallops. The rice has that really nice briny seafood flavor from the broth. It was just a teeny tiny bit overly salty to my taste but it's cut with the dollops of sour cream. Has this really nice low level heat that just works without burning your mouth. 4.5/5. Lamb sirloin - great crust on the lamb and cook as well. Flavorful sear and crust on the lamb with a soft tender meaty interior. Can't go wrong with- 5/5. Branzino - delicious flaky and light with a great grill. If you're interested in a fresh fish, this is a good choice. Was a special on the menu - 5/5. Prices: Fine dining pricing but you get the excellent food, service and experience for the price.

We started the meal with peach with baratta salad which was so refreshing. Next we got the grilled octopus which was nicely charred but I have to say the amount of octopus is pretty small for a dish that's almost $30. When I saw paella on the menu, I knew I had to get it. It was topped with seafood including 2 giant prawns, clams, mussels and sausages. The rice was cooked perfectly with bold flavours. However I felt that the seafood was slightly undercooked. We told our server and he asked the kitchen to cook us new shrimps right away. I would def recommend sharing this entree as the portion is enough for 2. We finished our meal with an affogato, which is no longer on the menu but our waiter kindly let us order. We loved the decor and vibe at this restaurant!
