Some background on aluminum wire: Years ago it was discovered by scientists in the electrical power industry that aluminum wiring can sometimes catch fire spontaneously as a result of the resistive film that builds up on the surface of the wire over time. This is everybody's nightmare - the spectre of an unused, unknown electrical outlet behind your couch in the living room, suddenly bursting into flames at 3:00 AM! I chose KC Electrical Service to rewire my house with copper and was very pleased with their skilled work. This was done flawlessly over a period of weeks, all at my convenience - I scarcely knew that they were working in the house! Over the subsequent 18 years KC replaced my (original) main breaker box when it failed in the dead of winter (they worked in a freezing, unheated garage in single digit temperatures), installed track lighting in my office, dedicated circuits for my computers and printers, new bathroom lighting and new circuits for air blowers, numerous outside automatic security lights (some at great heights on the side of the house), sump pumps, deck lighting, telecommunications and internet cabling - all this at my convenience and always in good cheer and fellowship. Thanks, KC Electrical Service for your fine professional efforts! We look forward to working with you in the future! Doug Kenney Founder & CEO BANK DATA BANK CONSULTANTS
