I initially called someone I had used previously to fix my leaking refrigerator and iced up freezer. That guy never showed, so I thought I'd give Devon a try although he couldn't see me until Friday of that Week. On Friday morning I phoned him again and left a vm, reminding him of our appointment. Less than 20 minutes later I got a return call and he sweetly assured me that he would never just not show up. When he arrived, Devon literally took my refrigerator apart to figure out the problem. It took 2 and 1/2 hours and even then he wasn't sure he fixed it. He was honest, smart, and delightful. He told me to call him over the weekend if there was still water leakage or a blizzard my freezer and he'd come right over. He also said he would call Monday to make sure he had resolved the problems. He did call that Monday to make sure all was well. I was impressed with his expertise, his work ethic, and his genuine kindness. I'd recommend him without hesitation, for sure. read more

Professional. Reasonable. Honest. Placed my clothes in the dryer overnight and woke up to wet, cold clothes. My first fear is that the heater element was gone. Second fear was that I'd be without a dryer for days based upon what I'd read about current service times. Not only did I receive a call back from Devon within an hour of my message, but luckily he had a break in his schedule and was able to provide same day service. Best of all, it was an internal fuse causing the issue. He had the correct fuse in stock and was able to repair the dryer on the spot. He also advised me to get the ducts cleaned as the buildup their could cause the fuse to trip again. This was not an upsale as he does not do this kind of work or partner with others who do. So appreciated!! Would definitely recommend for honest service. read more

I highly recommend DMartin Home Appliance Repair. We had a bit of an emergency, our son and his wife have a baby on the way and our dryer went out. Devon came out to diagnose the problem on a Saturday. He ordered the replacement part for us, and came out the evening that the part arrived. He's a one man operation, knows his business and takes pride in his work. You won't get the same pride from one of the bigger repair services. Devon didn't just install the replacement part, he took a long time to verify that everything else on the dryer was working. Also, at his own expense, he ordered an extra main board for the dryer just in case there was a second problem that wasn't apparent until the repair was made. You'll never call anyone else again. read more

Devon is great and worthy of all five stars! (Be sure to read all of his other "not recommended by Yelp" five-star reviews too!) He returned my initial call for help right away, is personable, showed up right when he said he would, properly diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher, called the distributor about the part it needed while at our house, and - knowing our house is under contract and going to be inspected in a few days - volunteered to come back the next day, on a Saturday (he normally does not work Saturdays) to install it. His rates are very reasonable, and he fixes "all five of the major appliances." We hope we won't need him again soon, but we'll call him if we do and we'll tell our friends about him too! read more

My newish clothes dryer went all wonky and I called DMartin Appliance Repair. He was so cheerful and sympathetic about my problem, and agreed to come when convenient to us both to fix it. I texted him the vital info on the dryer so he could be ready with parts if needed. He arrived on time, masked up, and asked a few questions. Turns out the dryer only needed to be reset, but he went through a full troubleshooting regimen just to make sure. He promised if I had any further glitches within 30 days he would return at no extra charge. I will definitely call him again with any other appliance repair needs and appreciate his work. read more

If you're looking for an appliance specialist, DMartin is the one you want. Our family is new to the area and we were having a problem with a refrigerator so I searched Yelp and was impressed with the reviews Devin received. I was able to get ahold of him, he went out of his way to fit us in and he didn't disappoint. Very professional, conscientious, polite and knowledgeable. Wore a mask during his entire time here because of the virus concerns. Not only a terrific mechanic, great guy. We have his business card and will be calling him again and referring friends. read more

WE were very pleased with the work and the charge for the repair was very reasonable . Would definitely recommend to family and friends read more

Highly professional service at excellent prices. They advised us when our washing machine would cost more to fix than it would to just replace it and gave us advice on where to get an absolutely fantastic deal on a replacement. I would also like to mention that DMartin were very quick to get back to me on any questions I had. If I ever have problems with another large appliance, I will definitely be giving DMartin my business. read more

Mr. Devon Williams of DMartin Home Appliance Repair was as knowledgeable, professional and personable as it gets. He repaired not only my GE fridge, but an old U-Line wine cooler that I thought was beyond hope of ever working again. Additionally, he did it all for what I consider to be an extremely reasonable price and came in right on estimate. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for quality home repairs. read more

Devon did a fantastic job fixing our dryer, which was spinning but producing no heat. I called 5 companies and choose him because of his professionalism and reasonable cost. $89 for the whole repair (issue was broken fuse). His diagnostic fee goes towards the repair if you use him, which isn't true for some other companies. He also replaced our air vent duct at no charge. We use him again for sure. Thanks Devon! read more

My dishwasher would stop mid-cycle and flash an error code that was clearly not the issue. I reached out to Devon with the model # and he took time out of his weekend to comb through online manuals and forums to discover what was really going on--all without an appointment! It's this level of care and service that really makes a difference! read more

Devon Williams is DMartin and he does excellent work at a reasonable price. He repaired my Kenmore refrigerator a couple of years ago and last month fixed my LG dryer. This is the guy you want to come to your house: on time, polite, professional and, most importantly, competent. He also cleans up after himself Highly recommended. read more

Devon came out and found that we needed a new part for our dishwasher. He was able to order it and install it the next day - on a Saturday - so that it would be done before we left town and a housesitter arrived. Also did a minor job on my dryer while he was there. Highly recommend! read more
