He seems to treat his subordinates, co workers, and customers with respect and professionalism, as far as I can see while I've been in the station. They have good food in the hot box at register. It is always fresh when I buy something out of it. The prices on the hot box food and the diner food is more than reasonable for the portion given. They have a lot of novelty items, such as headphones, chargers, speakers, jewelry, hats, clothes, toys, tools, CB radios, designer knives, and a lot of new pop culture items. It's always interesting to look around and see what new items have arrived weekly. The restrooms are clean and the outside of the station is always neat and clean. I'm not sure if that's how it normally is that early or if they were running a little late. The sandwich came out pretty quick. It was good. (This joint used to be called Hot Stone Pizza, and it had precipitously gone downhill before ignominiously closing about eight months previously.) When we entered, we were greeted by a host, which was a nice surprise. (The former restaurant had a weird, immediate entry/ordering procedure, like a cafeteria.) Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, and although her English wasn't perfect, it was adequate for communicating our meal preferences. We decided on their supreme pizza, and happily we were not charged for substituting the beef for sausage. However, the 18" pizza that we ordered actually represented the size of the pizza pan. The pizza itself was more like 16" in diameter. When asked, our waitress didn't really have a good explanation. The ingredients on the pizza were fresh and delicious. The crust was tasty, and nicely browned, with cornmeal on the underside. Parking at the restaurant was more than adequate, with car spaces surrounding the building. I would return again, if only to try other things on their menu. Three and a half stars, rounded up to four, just because the ingredients on the pizza were so fresh.
