The finished project exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The entire project took about nine months, with roughly half that time spent navigating Los Angeles County's permitting and approval process. Picture Build's permit coordinator did an excellent job keeping everything moving and minimizing delays. The demolition phase was exceptional. Luis and his crew removed our old pool in a neighborhood where heavy equipment wasn't an option, so most of the work had to be done by hand. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail were impressive. Once demolition was complete, a talented team of craftsmen brought our vision to life. They poured new concrete, built a beautiful stacked-stone retaining wall, and installed stunning travertine pavers throughout the patio. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. Our project manager, Jorge, kept both the demolition and construction phases running smoothly. Like any major project, we encountered a few minor challenges, but every issue was resolved quickly and professionally by Jorge or John Durso, the company's general manager. Special thanks as well to Max, our electrician, and Brian, the quality control supervisor and all-around problem solver, for their dedication and attention to detail. The final transformation is incredible. What was once an aging pool is now a beautiful, inviting outdoor living space where our family loves spending time together. Picture Build delivered exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer service throughout the entire project.

Before making our final decision, we interviewed four different companies to compare our options. Ultimately, what made all the difference was their ability to deliver a detailed 3D plan based entirely on our vision, paired with the guidance of their expert designer. They not only met our expectations, but they also completely exceeded them. Throughout the project, we had to pivot on certain parts of the design to accommodate existing brick fences and challenging land slopes, but the team handled these adjustments seamlessly, and the final outcome is truly amazing. If you are planning to design or renovate your yard, I highly recommend that you meet with their team for a consultation and quote.

Francis (Falanisi) is truly knowledgable, fair, and professional. He was extremely responsive and genuine, and guided me through the entire process to ensure we achieved my desired outcome. The curb sidewalls leading into my driveway were extremely high and wide making it very difficult for vehicles to pull in and out without damaging their tires and/or rims. Francis was able to suggest a cost effective and reasonably priced option, and then completed the service and work expeditiously, as promised. The pictures were taken right after, but now that the driveway has been washed down, you can hardly tell work had been done. The driveway looks amazing now, and allows for vehicles to comfortably pull in and out without damaging their tires and/or rims. I highly recommend Francis and Kokonut Konkrete for all of your concrete needs!! You definitely won't go wrong with them.

I had called Wall Brothers for a quote on building a non-bearing concrete wall in our garden. Mark…read moreWall ("I was born to be in this business!") showed up at the appointed time to review the job. Came with a colleague from the business, and they reviewed the job together. (PS. Both had masks on!) He promptly furnished a quote (he was the second to bid, and was the middle of the three bids). What convinced me to go with them was this: When they came to review the job, I had a reference sheet from City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety...and Mark said that they build to a much higher standard, and described including more rebar than the city requires, etc. He also talked about specifically matching the existing wall. His priorities seemed to match ours. Mark had said that they would be showing up at 7AM on the appointed day, and texted me at 7 to tell me that they would be 10 minutes late. I really appreciated that, as I had recently used a contractor who showed up when they chose to show up. Wall Brothers is clearly client-focused. Mark said that the job would be 3-4 days, and it was done in under 3. New wall matches the existing wall (and it's not a standard concrete block size) well. Crew was friendly and accessible throughout the job. There was a small miscommunication that was quickly corrected without incident, another measure of a good firm. Finally, each day, the crew left the site cleaned up. When the job was completed, one of the crew remained to clean up the site, and other than the new wall, you would not know a construction crew had been here this week! I'm entirely comfortable referring Wall Brothers Construction for their concrete/masonry work, and will certainly be calling them again as needed. Photos attached, plus here is a YouTube video that shows the construction of the job, in two minutes: https://youtu.be/_VwNkG6CFtA

He was amazing to work with, checking in with us every day and offering up suggestions along the way without being pushy.
