Our ceremony and reception were at the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa, with the ceremony outdoors in the Fountain Courtyard, and the dinner and dancing indoors in the Independence Ballroom. The DJ, Adrian, was enthusiastic and easy to work with in both preparing for our event and setting up the contract, as well as determining the specific musical items for each aspect of the wedding. He played our special selections for the entrance procession to our formal ceremony, which was moving for us, our families and our friends. Then came our introduction as husband and wife and the special music for our entrance into the reception, our choreographed First Dance (which we practiced for months!), and the first dance we selected where we asked our guests to join us on the dance floor. Adrian had suggested we hire a saxophonist to play live at our reception as a surprise for our guests and a jazzy addition to the music. We did! It added to the excitement for the dancing. Along with the musical equipment, Adrian was responsible for the up lighting at our event, which created a lovely ambiance for the reception. Adrian had worked with us on the timeframes for our event - that is the time we were introduced as a couple, the timing of the toasts, the timing of the first dance, etc. Adrian's experience as a DJ and master of ceremonies was evident as he confirmed with us on the timelines during the evening, and helped us keep our event running smoothly. Throughout the evening, Bay Areas Beats DJs music perfectly matched the joy we felt on our special wedding day. Adrian's Bay Area Beats DJs music received acclaim from our guests and us, the bride and groom. Adrian is an experienced DJ, who enhanced our wedding day. We highly recommend Adrian Blackhurst's Bay Area Beats DJs for your event!

With me being that way for most things, when it came to the biggest day(s) of my life, my wedding, the impossible requirements were clear: perfection, and like a force of lightning, thunder, and tornadoes, Gunjan emphatically delivered. THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS If you're reading this and thinking of anyone else to handle the momentous importance of handling the music and lighting for key life event, stop immediately. Gunjan is the one and only answer to your question and he will answer it in the most gratifying way imaginable. He is the GOAT -- having everyone from my Gujarati in-laws, to my Tamil family, to my spectrum of racially diverse friends reeling to this day in excitement. From the Mehndi night where he led a garba hour that led into a Bollywood + Tamil hypefest, to the baraat the next day that was at my request -- a Tamil kuthu-style baraat on a portable sound system alongside the San Diego bay, to a beautifully epic outdoor waterfront wedding and a traditional ballroom reception with an LED dancefloor brought in by a 3rd party vendor that Gunjan coordinated himself, I can't stop gushing about the level of effort, style, nuance, and charisma that Gunjan brought to all of the events -- as both a spectacular DJ but also more so, as a gregarious emcee. He defines "master of ceremonies." I had not met Gunjan prior to hiring him but I can wholeheartedly say now that Gunjan's still a part of my life and I adore this guy and look forward to bonding over music with him for years to come. If you're looking for someone who can provide you and your guests an unforgettable experience that they're going to be talking about for a long time, then seriously, look no further than this wonderful soul of a human being.

He was by far the best DJ I encountered and the price he gave us was amazing for all of the work he did. He is very honest, reliable, and efficient. He set up zoom meetings with us and reminded us of the "to do's" and guided us along the way. He helped us pick out our cake cutting song and overall made the process pleasant. He was very attentive to everything we needed and/or requested. He even recommended our photo booth person we used since we were scrambling last minute to find one. He showed up at our rehearsal which we know he didn't have to do but it made it that much more special to have a DJ that didn't just care about the "gig" but actually wanted to get involved with meeting us, our family, and our friends. We really enjoyed having him there as more of a friend than a DJ. He even took pictures of our set up, decor and us saying "I do" which was so thoughtful and I don't know any other DJ that cares enough to do that.... Thank you Pierre for everything!
