If you never planned on refunding the security deposit, he should have been honest and upfront. It isn't good business practice to say you're going to do something and then don't. The ambiance of the studio was like entering into my era of house music, dimly lit basements and lots of crates, boom boxes and vinyls. There was a fully stocked refreshment bar set up to boot. The hands on experience we received was worth the money. The incentive monetary details to return for formal lessons was a plus as well. My husband and I had so much fun selecting various forms of vinyl to create our own mix music sessions. We each got to set up at individual turn tables and have a good old time with non-battling with our selection of songs.
