Joel with Lethal Rhythms truly saved the day for our wedding!…read more I had already booked another DJ for our wedding but he had been oddly silent to my emails during the week or two before the big day. When I finally called him the day before the wedding I found that his number was disconnected! I scoured the internet for another number to call but every number for him was the same. I sent him a facebook message since he had been unresponsive to my emails. No word. We had a contract and I had put down a deposit but I had no idea how to pursue him any further. We called Lethal Rhythms Friday afternoon and in two hours Joel connected me with Larry Cook. Larry called me immediately and after our conversation I knew I could breathe easier. The first DJ finally called me the day of our wedding... 15 minutes before our ceremony started. I angrily asked him why I hadn't heard from him and he simply said that "they had been so busy lately". Larry was amazing! Everyone raved about him all night long and he was passing out his business cards by the end of the night. We knew that our friends and family are a fun crowd, but Larry kept them on the dance floor the. entire. night. There was never a lull and everyone had a great time! The only even slightly negative thing that I can say is that Larry is not yet an "emcee". I was fortunate enough that my wedding coordinator was able to step in for this role but I felt like that was naturally part of a DJ's duty for a wedding. Other than that, we were more than pleased! Joel even made sure to check in with me after the wedding to make sure that we were happy with their service. Thank you to Joel and his staff for making our wedding amazing!

His music selection is on point. We provided him with a list, weeks beforehand and he was able to…read moreput together his own stuff as well that suited our taste and style. His ear for music is without question, impeccable and accurate. Joel was also punctual to the wedding so he'd have time to set up, meet the wedding coordinator, etc. The lighting was excellent and made it more fun to dance. Not-so-Positives: Without putting all the blame on Joel, for whatever reasons and technical difficulties (software updates), he wasn't able to pull all the right songs, i.e. garter toss. However, it didn't matter much because he improvised and there was a super fun go-stop-groom-crawling game that had the crowd roaring. Then he was able to get the right song and all was good. The one thing that did irk me a little, was this: My sister (who is very, very pregnant and was my maid of honor) approached Joel several times throughout the night for either questions or clarification about a few things, and his responses were not very friendly nor personable. I completely understand that Joel may have been flustered due to the music/software technical difficulties, but I know that he could have been a bit more cordial to her. I'm sure he was just frustrated and to be perfectly honest, everybody was probably a bit stressed all night, but I know it wasn't easy for my sister to have to ask him questions when she had them. We'd met for lunch months before the wedding to discuss our music taste, event, etc. Joel promised a pre-party mix if we sent him a list of stuff we liked, so we did. This never materialized. He then promised to make up for that and this never happened either. I'm a very reasonable and patient person, but after failing to hold up his end of the bargain MORE than 3 times, I had to write an honest review. I don't like being jerked around and if a vendor is making promises, then they should deliver. Period. Talented? Without a doubt. Would do business with again? Not a chance.

Tim did an excellent job of making sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the entire night. Not only did he handle business and read the crowd like a champ, he was flexible, pleasant, and friendly with everyone. The music was perfection! It was like a 4 hour sing and dance-a-long all night. Feedback from our guests was also exceptional. The videographers were fun and chill and our bridal party had a blast with them.  Hip & Hitched would be my top recommendation to anyone planning a wedding. We love those guys!

Their performance of Ms. Jackson has been posted by like half the guests in attendance with comments like "greatest of all time." There are certain things you remember about weddings- "that wedding had such good food" or "such a beautiful venue." We like to think that both those things are also true, but really we know our wedding will be known for that amazing band that will have our out-of-state engaged guests wondering if Emerald Empire Band does travel gigs! We worked with Justin from start to finish and he was so helpful and proactive in communicating with us, leaving us without any concerns ahead of time. First impressions: Fantastic, Top Shelf, First Class Company…read more In planning my son's upcoming rehearsal dinner, I was tasked with arranging the AV equipment. I started my search well in advance of the event (6 months) to be sure everything was in place. An online search for AV rentals in my area brought me to Liquid AV. Really a first class outfit. Cost of AV equipment at the venue was prohibitive for me. I found Liquid AV's prices to be very competitive. Well below using the equipment vendors at the venue. I made a point to call Zach directly to be sure he would be able to handle my needs and to get a handle on his operation. I was impressed with his knowledge to accurately assess my needs based on the size of the room and the number of people attending. Conversations and follow up e-mails were promptly addressed. A deposit held the date and exactly 1 month out, as promised, I received an e-mail confirming the contract, cleaning up the final details of venue address, start time, show time for set up, etc. I elected to go with the large screen (10') and audio package. Again, I was very impressed. All the equipment was top notch, in brand new condition, and worked flawlessly. The projector set up in a behind the screen configuration gave plenty of room for the tables out in front. Cables, speaker stands, all was arranged for a clean clutter free look. Zach and his technician, Cody, stayed on site to monitor operation. In addition, Zach brought some additional up lighting effects that were used along the outside edges of the room. I'd have to give Liquid AV 5 stars if I were rating them. I will be recommending them to anyone I know that has need of this type of service. I can only see his business growing with the customer service he provided me throughout the experience. Jim Cirilli

We called and were able to get two replacements quickly and for a fair price. The best part was that we were able to finish rigging everything up while our projectors were delivered to us. CollaboCrate offered support with a 24/7 phone number; while we didn't really need that, it's nice to know that a smaller crew would have some sort of help if they needed it. We worked with a few rental companies when we were getting started and those experiences had pushed us to purchase and maintain our own gear. If we had this kind of attention and ease of rental all the time we would have opted to rent most of our equipment and left the maintenance to someone else. This is how it should be done.
