Specialties
When choosing a DJ it’s especially important to choose one that's versatile. It’s a contributing factor to why I have a massive selection of various genres, such as hip-hop, R&B, classic oldies, EDM, and top 40 hits.
I make sure to appeal to everyone at your party, that’s why my music library is always up to date so your vision and expectation can be fulfilled.
A DJ is one of the most crucial parts of an event. If the food is delicious and the decoration is lovely, all that can be ruined if the tunes aren’t creating good vibes and making people dance! We’ve all been to that event where the DJ just wasn’t up to par and we know that can be a mood killer.
Rather it’s a wedding or corporate event, I'm there creating fun and memorable experiences. Your job is to relax and enjoy every moment of your lively celebration!
History
Established in 2010.
My love for DJing started over 13 years ago while spinning for my family reunion on the DJ tables my nanny bought me. Since then family reunions have always held a special place in my heart. I pride myself in having a diverse background not only in my ethnicity, (hence my DJ name “DJ Hybrid”) but in my career experience.
With a background in Mass Communications I seamlessly transitioned into radio on “The Blaze”. This lead to promoting, hosting, and throwing teen parties all over Tennessee.
Later I ventured into festivals such as Bonnaroo, SXSW, and Buku. I DJ'd Tennessee Titans After Parties and Panama City Spring Break. I've held DJ residencies in several clubs and hosted fundraisers and community projects.
As a Celebrity DJ I've toured with Slumerican (Yellawolf’s label) & Lupe Fiasco. I've DJ'd for Lil Wayne, Travis Porter, Starlito, Chancellor Warhol, Local Nashville Artists, Trinidad James, Smoke Dza, Isaiah Rashad, Bray and Big Henry of Slummerican, and Currency.

1. Biology
//the offspring of two different species or varieties, a thing made by combining two different elements; a mixture: of mixed character; composed of mixed parts.
This word is all encompassing of who I am (of mixed race) and what I do (mix songs). If I had to describe my mixing style in three words, it would be smooth, delicate, and at times abrasive lol. Growing up with a white mother and a black father I was exposed to a wide variety of formats from country to classic rock. My name literally means what I do for a profession. Raised around different races I quickly learned how to work with, and adapt, to different people, cultures, moods, and environments. As you’ll find out, this translates in how I deal with you, your guests, and the music set for your event.
