Such a fantastic choice!! We were lucky enough to work with Mike, who is super easy going, and really knows music. My husband is pretty picky about his songs, so the fact that Amp'd allows you to pre-select definite "no's" and "yes's" was a huge plus. Mike clearly understood exactly what we wanted for both the cocktail hour and reception. I really appreciated the fact that if any guest requested a song that didn't quite jive with the overall theme, he told them that he wasn't sure if we would ok the choice. That is so much better than having some terrible song come on that you just don't want! Of course, as the night went on, we did give the ok to some songs that we probably didn't initially think we would want ;) I would use Amp'd again in a heartbeat. Hollon Yarborough was the DJ for our wedding on September 9,2017. I cannot stress enough how great he was! My mother and I saw Hollon play at the Lovesick Expo and we were blown away. His mixes were catchy and different which is exactly what I was looking for on my special day. Admittedly, I was a little skeptical when my (now) wife, Nicole suggested a DJ for the reception. We scouted some vendors, got some recommendations, and ended up signing a contract with Amp'd. Mike was awesome! The music was a great mix of pop from the last decade or so. Every song was danceable without being clubby, dirty, or raver-y. Yes, I just made up a few words, but you know what I mean. Everyone was out on the dancefloor having a great time, and the way Mike mixed the tracks meant there weren't any of those abrupt changes or awkward moments. Overall, I am really pleased. Mike was great to work with. I needed a photobooth for my son's bar mitzvah last weekend and I was looking for something that was more unique than just the "standard black box". I found the Starlite photo booth online which totally matched the style and decor of our venue. I discovered that Ampd Atlanta had recently purchased this booth, so I booked through Mike (owner). He was VERY responsive and helpful, I couldn't ask for anything better! He even took care of doing the uplighting for one of the rooms at our venue (where we had the adult dining area set up), which looked FABULOUS. Mike and Israel manned the booth on the night of our event and got more than 160 photo strips in 4 hours.... That is faster than one group (4 photos) every 2 minutes! We had about 100 adults and 100 kids/teens - Mike and Israel were great with working with the guests of all ages. They did a scrapbook so that our guests could sign in on the spot and everyone could also take home a photo strip. Also, Mike sent me the electronic files of ALL the photos that were taken - almost everyone used the photobooth but there was NEVER a line, which was great! They even did a custom logo on the photo strips and a custom sign on the outside of the booth. They brought a huge collection of entertaining props, which everyone used in (and out of) the booth the entire evening. Very reasonably priced and incredibly reliable... I would not hesitate to use them again! read more

AMP'D did an exceptional job in providing the most up to date system, organization and staff for our wedding! Our music was a hit, Mike was amazing and we had a lot of compliments. They also did our videography and the snap shot video was awesome! However, the quality of the actual footage and the longer videos were fairly amateur. I am very happy to have the videos and have them recorded I just think that department needs some fine tuning. read more
