If you are wedding planning; you want Tony on your team. My husband and I planned a Washington…read morewedding from Alaska during the COVID nightmare. Most of the communications with Tony was done via webcam since we weren't able to go back and forth to Washington. Tony was very responsive to everything and not only had plenty of ideas but he has the best ideas. If you pick him you unlock a world of possibilities for your ceremony and reception. Prior to having him I just thought I would pick a few songs, play the wedding quiz game and call it good. I was so wrong. Once I got to see his presentation ideas I knew we were in the best hands. There were multiple parts of our wedding that the guest had never seen before and moved them to tears, laughter and the best party opener after a year of masks and social distancing. He knows the right way to do everything in his lane and he pretty much becomes your day of coordinator, or their huge helper. He helped us with our floor plan and he always kept us informed on what was going to happen next. It felt like the wedding was a production. A Grammy winning production at that. The moment I realized we had made the best decision for our wedding by hiring Tony was as I was getting ready the day of. It was about three hours before the wedding and I was getting my hair done and just mentioned to my wedding party "Oh crap I hope Tony is able to set up and doesn't get lost or anything." My maid of honor said "umm... he's been here for a while and I am pretty sure he is all set up." He adds absolutely 0 stress the day of the wedding! Tony is very professional and his ultimate goal is to be there for you and your partner as well as keeping everyone involved and to have everyone leave at night saying "That DJ is my new best friend." I had so many comments after the weeding saying it was the best wedding they had been to. My Grandma and my friends are still commenting on how great Tony was. I can't say it enough: Pick Tony as your DJ and you will not regret it!

We truly can't say enough good things about Tony Schwartz as our wedding DJ. He was simply the best…read morewe could have hoped for--organized, efficient, and an absolute master of his craft. From the start, Tony took the time to understand our vision and our guests, helping us plan the perfect night. On the day of the wedding, Tony was professional, reliable, and absolutely nailed every detail. Everyone raved that it was the most fun dancing they'd ever experienced at a wedding. He kept everyone--from the young cousins to the older guests--on the dance floor all night, seamlessly blending timeless classics with modern hits and amazing remixes of both that kept everyone engaged, all while keeping our musical taste in mind. The energy never dipped once. He's by far the best wedding DJ we've ever experienced, and we wouldn't recommend anyone else to make your wedding an absolute blast. But Tony isn't just a DJ--he's an MC, and honestly, even part wedding planner. He came up with fantastic ideas to keep the evening flowing smoothly while still letting us stay in control of our creative vision. If you're deciding between a day-of coordinator or Tony, go with Tony. He handled every transition flawlessly--from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception--and his charismatic MC'ing elevated the entire vibe of the event. Everyone's vision is different, but after attending dozens of weddings and hearing from our guests, we've realized that if you're going to optimize one vendor, make it the DJ/MC. People may not remember the flowers or even the food, but they will remember the flow of the night, the energy, and the hours of music, dancing, and fun. From the bottom of our hearts--thank you, Tony, for making our wedding as fun, seamless, and memorable as possible!

Integral DJs are the best option around and brought all their own high quality equipment and awesome lights that added so much to our wedding. We wanted a real party and they delivered. The DJ for our wedding was Kitman who did an amazing job. He reached out a few weeks before the wedding to touch base and ensure that everything on the wedding flow, names pronunciation, and our music preferences was filled out. We also had a meeting to discuss everything so that we were all on the same page. At the event, Kitman was lovely and helped ensure the overall reception flowed well from cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He played music that pulled our guests of ages 2 and up to the dance floor and kept everyone engaged. He took requests that made sense and was appropriate for children to hear. All of our wedding guests had fun on the dance floor. He was a pleasure to work with and did a wonderful job as our DJ.

The music was stop and start and they both (I think husband and wife? ) seemed very disorganized. Most weddings I've been to (and it's a lot) the DJ service is upbeat and fun, gets the crowd excited, and generally stays engaged throughout. I'm not sure if the baby was the main distraction, but they definitely didn't bring the hype. When the bride emailed to express her frustrations and ask for a partial refund, they refused and mentioned their disappointment that the bride didn't mention up front that this was a same sex marriage. Homophobia looks good on NO ONE. Just so bummed that this vendor put a damper on my friends special day.

Because I fricken love singing Karaoke with Melody Music's DJ Rob at the Waterwheel on Sunday and Wednesday nights, starting around 9:30pm. It's worth the drive, worth the cab fare, worth the hassle of getting back out there to get my car if I drink too much. Rob is a killer Karaoke DJ. He consistently has remembered my name, though I've become a bit of a regular so no shock there. He's got a computer system where he enters in your name and the songs you request, and can bring them back up when you see him again if you tend to sing the same songs, which I do. And his music library... "Would you say I have a plethora of [songs]?" "Si El Guapo." "Do you know what Plethora means?" "No El Guapo." Plethora means shitload. And he's got a shitload of songs. He's got so many songs they can't print them all up in their book full of songs to choose from, so if you are looking for something to sing and don't see it, make sure to ask. And thanks to his fancy computer set-up, you don't have to write down all the code numbers. You just write down the artist, song name, and your name, and he'll do the rest. Rob is real great at cycling through the singers, mixing audio, and making sure the spare mike gets volumed up if someone else jumps in to duet mid-song. He's got a small monitor to read lyrics from, or you can read off the huge monitor at the Waterwheel. Definitely worth coming out to experience the Karaoke joy with these guys.

I can't believe the wide variety, especially when you compare his to other 'popular' karaoke spots catalogs. He also happens to love his job, and it shows. It remembers you and songs you've sung before, so just putting your name in there consistently and you can always have songs at the ready...or he'll even make recommendations if you can't think of one. And I'm still cracking up that last night at D's party, he remembered "his buddy Don L" from all our other "Yelp converges upon water wheel karaoke" events. And bonus points for moving me and Carly and another singer up a few slots last night, my reason was compelling enough to get him not only to laugh, but to do it. ;-) Stu made a great decision bringing Rob to the waterwheel!
