David was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, he brought the perfect mix of professionalism, confidence, fun, and expertise. We trusted him completely, and he exceeded every expectation we had. He helped guide the flow of the evening, kept everything moving smoothly, and made the entire night feel effortless. He truly understood the vibe we wanted and made it happen perfectly. The music, timing, announcements, and energy were all exactly what we hoped for -- and somehow even better. We received so many compliments from guests about how fun the night was and how great the music was. The dance floor felt alive and was packed the entire night, the transitions were seamless, and the whole evening had such a joyful energy. What we appreciated most was that he made us feel completely taken care of. We could just be present, enjoy our guests, and soak in every moment without worrying about what was coming next. He is truly an expert at what he does, and we are so grateful he was part of our wedding day. read more

We absolutely recommend DJ David Cutler! Even a whole year later, we're still thinking about how he helped make our night perfect. From the very beginning he was professional, easy to work with, and truly listened to what we wanted for the night. The music was perfect and the dance floor was full all night, which was exactly what we hoped for. He did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the energy up while still incorporating the songs that were important to us. He even helped me mix two songs together for the father daughter dance. Everything flowed smoothly, and we never had to worry about a thing. We received so many compliments from our guests about how fun the music was. If you're looking for someone who will keep your guests dancing and help make your wedding unforgettable, we highly recommend him! read more

David was INCREDIBLE DJ!!! He is on the Preferred Vendor List at my venue, The Bahia Resort Hotel. Before the big day, I gave him a heads-up about the age groups that would be there and their interests in music (it was a smaller wedding). He truly read the crowd, kept everyone engaged, and made everyone happy! :) He also gave great service in regards to shortening 2 songs and listening to a couple of other of special requests I had. David was a pleasure to work with! I'm so grateful that he was our DJ and for making this day so special!!! (I later received many compliments about how well the DJ did!) read more

Sorry it took a while to leave a review, but we're still recovering from dancing our booties off on the best night of our lives...our wedding! David was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing!! Everything, start to finish, was a breeze with him. My *now* husband and I are very particular with our music tastes, and we knew we didn't want to play all the traditional predictable wedding songs. I expected some pushback when I told David about our extensive Do NOT play list, along with the eclectic mix of songs we DID want played...but it was the exact opposite. David loved our ideas, encouraged us to express our individuality, and he was excited to switch it up for us (and play a lot of fun EDM!!). He was SO knowledgeable, open, fun and easy to communicate with, and at the end of the day, he knew EXACTLY what he was doing and everyone was definitely on the dance floor All. Night. Long! We worked so well together to curate a playlist that was EXACTLY what we wanted- everything from pre-wedding music, my custom walk down the aisle song that I sourced from a private Violinist online, to our social hour, to the dinner music, to finally the wedding dance party music. The icing on the cake was when David gave the groom MULTIPLE dubstep songs ....it was honestly the highlight of his night. ha-ha Everyone had SO MUCH FUN. Since music is such a big part of our lives, I was originally a little stressed/overwhelmed about picking the right DJ, and at the end of the day... David was the perfect match. 10/10 would use him again! read more

We had an amazing experience with David!! Leading up to the wedding he was very communicative. His planning portal is super organized and makes it easy to give all the music and all information needed, but he also will take your Spotify playlists if that's easier which it was for us! He played everything we wanted to hear and we got a lot of compliments on the dance floor part of our wedding, thanks to David!! Highly recommend and would use again for future events. read more

1000/10!! HIGHLY recommend David! I am very picky, detail-oriented and was worried nobody was going to dance (I've been to a few weddings where that was the case), but David kept everyone on the floor ALL NIGHT - all ages!!! The music was fun, he assessed the vibe of the crowd, and people who don't like to dance were dancing! I had people tell me it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding! TY DAVID! read more

David was fantastic for our Safari Park wedding in May! During our ceremony, I had a very specific idea for a portion of a song to begin playing right after we each said "I do", I wasn't sure if it would be possible to pull off, but David made it happen! He edited a custom version of the song that would fade in perfectly, and he coordinated with our officiant to get the timing just right. It was amazing and a dream come true for me to have that moment! Throughout the planning process, David was easy to reach, friendly, and accommodating. The night of the wedding, David was great with the announcements, and great at reading the room to get people dancing and singing. We had such a FUN and joyous wedding, highly recommend David for any event. read more

I am not surprised to come on here and see that David has all five star reviews. Davis did an amazing job at our wedding at Darlington house on September 6th. He was very accommodating to our needs, and hosted an epic dance party. He is completely professional and all around pleasure to work with. I highly recommend David to any brides to be, and frankly for any event. Amazing all around. read more

BEST DJ EVER! Not only was David perfect on the night of our wedding, he was an absolute joy to work with through all of the planning and preparation. He helped us think through all of the logistics for our Scripts Seaside Forum wedding; he help us work through and execute some special dances and surprises as well. He was so kind and friendly throughout the process - he was always extremely responsive and it's clear he really cares about the music and crafting the perfect vibe for your wedding. Couldn't recommend him any higher! read more

We got married earlier this year in San Diego. We of course wanted everything perfect, especially when I came to the reception. It was important to us to have great music and people dancing the night away - Dave crushed it. From the beginning, we felt comfortable with him. He was friendly and knew how to put us at ease. It was also easy to use his website to pick songs we wanted to hear and keep track of songs submitted. About a month before the wedding we had another call with Dave because he wanted to make sure we were all on the same page for vibes / music at the reception, cocktail hour, and dinner. He sent us some sample playlists for cocktail hour and dinner which were amazing and fit the fun chill vibe we were going for. As for the reception, Dave played great music that kept everyone on the dance floor and sprinkled in our song selections seamlessly throughout the night. We would highly recommend Dave to anyone having a wedding in the San Diego area! read more

David did a phenomenal job with the DJ services for our ceremony and reception at The Bahia. He had great lighting and made the process easy. We would highly recommend! read more

We worked with DJ Dave for our wedding in July of 2023. Reasons why you should hire DJ Dave: + clear process that he takes clients through + responsive to emails + had our party of 200+ guest fill the dance floor + easy to access system to pick songs We could write more, but there was one moment when I knew that we made the right choice. As the bride, I was very nervous about the first dance and and DJ Dave had the high EQ to stealthily check and made sure we were not dancing for more than a second longer than I needed :) TLDR: If you're planning a wedding, we HIGHLY recommend DJ Dave! read more

David did an outstanding job on everything leading up to the ceremony and our wedding day. Incredibly professional, responsive, and organized and an even nicer person to work with. He made sure every detail was attended to and made our ceremony and reception so fun. He was very flexible with our requests and his services are completely customizable. His online platform was very easy to navigate for detailing the reception schedule, timing of songs/dances, and toasts. Everyone had an awesome time at the wedding and an even better time on the dance floor thanks to Dave! We truly can't recommend him highly enough. read more

If you're looking for a fantastic DJ, look no further. David is AWESOME!! He is great at communicating/very responsive, flexible (we had to cancel our first wedding due to Covid), an extremely talented DJ, and just a super nice guy. He was able to work with us to customize our mother/son dance song, and he made sure he had all the correct versions of the songs we wanted to use. His website was easy to use and there were tons of songs to choose from, but he was easily able to get all the obscure and weird songs we wanted that weren't on his list. :) The day of our wedding, all the music from pre-ceremony to ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing was absolutely perfect. Several of our guests commented on how great our DJ was. 10/10 would recommend - you won't be disappointed!! read more

David is the MAN! Best DJ ever! He had all of our guests on the dance floor all night long! He played the best music, really read the room well, and played a lot of songs we requested at the perfect times. David is the best!!! We just had our wedding this past week and he is a phenomenal DJ! First, he was super professional when we first booked him. He went through a power point of his services and we had a meeting over Zoom (?) so both parties could get to know each other. He has an easy-to-use online portal where we could place our timeline, any other wedding planning information, and any songs we wanted played or not played. He was in charge of sound for both the ceremony and reception and the sound was soooo clear. There was surround sound for the ceremony and I could hear it all just the same from when I started walking down the long aisle to when I got to the end of the aisle where my groom was. We had a mic stand and lapel mic for the ceremony for the officiant and groom, respectively, and both sounded so clear. I also speak a little quieter so he was able to make sure I was heard well on the mic. For the reception and when the dancing started, he kept the dance floor going!! We mostly put songs on the list that were listed as "play if possible" but they were more rap/hip hop songs so may not be everyone's cup of tea. David took the reins and started the dance floor with some crowd favorites and then got into the music we had listed later on in the night. I am pretty sure he played every song we listed even though they were listed as "play if possible" and not as a "must play." He did an awesome job incorporating our music but also reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor full. We literally got so many compliments on our DJ! I feel like we got a luxury DJ at an affordable price.. 12/10 would book again!!!!! read more

David is seriously the best! He made our wedding a blast on the dance floor and had high quality equipment to help amplify our ceremony. His up-lights made it feel like a club and he took the time to listen to what songs we did and didn't want played. One of the nicest humans I have met! Book him if you can! read more

David played such a crucial part in making our wedding a success and we would hire him again and again. He kept the dance floor packed the entire time (which was a top priority), and even gave us an "encore" upon request after playing the last song. His sound system, mic, and uplights all worked without a problem and added much to our party. We knew we had a tall order from him, asking him to MC and play a tough mix of music (we had reggaeton, norteño, funk, disco, and 90s pop) but he delivered a great mix that kept everybody on the dance floor. All my guests have complimented us on the dancing, and it's all because of David! read more

DJ David was such a blast! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and his website was so easy to use to communicate all the songs we wanted to be played and when. We also used his equipment for our ceremony and everyone could hear us perfectly despite being on the water and there was some wind. We easily added an extra hour at the end to keep the party going and he allowed us to pay him a few days later for that so we didn't have to stress the night of! Would highly recommend him for your wedding or any event!! read more

I can't say enough good things about David! From the moment we met with him to discuss our vision for the wedding, we knew we were in good hands. He took the time to understand our musical preferences and worked closely with us to create the perfect playlist for our special day. On the night of the wedding, he absolutely delivered! The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and his energy and enthusiasm kept the party going all night long. If you want a DJ who will not only meet but exceed your expectations, look no further than David. Five stars doesn't even begin to cover it! read more

What can we even say to do DJ David justice?? My husband and I had to quick pivot our wedding from home in NY to San Diego and DJ David was better than anything we could've ever hoped for! This dude was born to DJ and was a *literal* household name among the SoCal wedding scene! He even made a custom "New York, New York" Remix that our family went nuts for! Our guests still talk about the reception and the dance floor was full the entire night. Thank you David for being so intentional with us, professional, charming, passionate about what you do, and for making our reception a night to remember! read more

The BEST DJ ever!!!! Trust me when I say I looked around at soooo many different DJ's and DJ David Cutler was hands down the best DJ. Every single guest (and I really mean all 125 of them!) said that he was the best DJ they had ever heard at a wedding because he made ALL my guests get on the dance floor with the FIRST song he played! He was perfect at playing music that made my parents and their friends want to dance and then around 30 minutes in he switched over to the 2010 hits that all my friends and I LOVED and kept us on the dance floor the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME! Seriously if you're reading this I would 100% book him asap because David is the best! Not only was he amazing for getting the party going but the whole planning process was amazing with him. He made sure to check in a month or so before the wedding so we could chat about our music thoughts and DJ/MC requests and he truly made the whole process so effortless. Every time my husband and I got off the phone with him we would say, "Wow, I'm so glad we booked him. I really trust that he has this handled!" And that is exactly how you want to feel with your vendors! On the day of the wedding he showed up early to prepare and everything was SO smooth. It also really helped to have his online planning platform because it made it easy to request certain songs. Thank you again SO much David! We appreciate you more than we can explain!! read more

DJ David Cutler is the epitome of professionalism! Our DJ at a recent family wedding ceremony and reception, he did everything right! The wedding had to be postponed two years in a row due to Covid travel restrictions. Whenever we contacted him about changes, his response was always upbeat and positive. His work in preparation for the celebration was appropriately thorough yet not invasive; our daughter said his choices of music were intuitive. The music for their first dance - of two very different tracks - was perfectly timed and a highlight of the evening. He even allowed a young ringbearer a thrilling turn at the controls. We recommend David to everyone without reservation!!! read more

We were stressed about a lot of things when planning this wedding, but the DJ was never a concern. DJ David Cutler was incredible!! Leading up to the wedding, he was easy to work with, extremely responsive, and patient. David has a ton of experience and already was very familiar with our venue. He immediately knew what microphones and speakers worked best and where additional speakers needed to go. The wedding could not have gone any better. We provided David with a list of songs (via his easy to use website) to give him an idea of the music we liked. He ran with it and absolutely killed it! Every song was on point. The dance floor was never empty. A DJ can make or break a wedding. David made our wedding. Thank you so much David! read more

Hiring David as our DJ was one of the easiest decisions we made during wedding planning! We knew our DJ was going to play an important role on our wedding day and we had no doubts that David could do the job. During our first Zoom call, we got to learn about David's DJ experience, ask him our questions and get an idea if he would be a perfect fit. Right after the call ended, we agreed that we wanted David as our DJ. David will communicate with you as much as you'd like. He'll listen to any requests you have and give you his professional opinion based on his experiences. He has a great website that you use for your wedding details, song choices, etc. On our wedding day, David was ready to go and everything went so smoothly! The dance floor was packed which is what I wanted. Our guests told us how they couldn't stop dancing since every song that came on was too good to not dance to. David can read your guests and knows how to get everyone on their feet. He did a great job announcing and had our music ready to go for our ceremony, too. Wedding planning can be a lot, but hiring David was an easy decision and made wedding planning less stressful and our wedding day couldn't have been better! read more

We cannot say enough about DJ David - he was very responsive, incredibly friendly, easy to work with, and his knowledge of how to create a music list and keep people on the dance floor all night was unparalleled! As we prepared for the wedding, we submitted music that we wanted and he, at our request, told us which songs he knew would be hits and which ones might not go over as well. He was right on the money. Our guests were quite happy and we got lots of feedback about how the music choice, song order, and transitions between songs were amazing. Having been to many weddings before, we knew how critical it is to have a good DJ to keep the atmosphere festive and people in the right mood. David managed all of that with ease. We really could not have asked for a better DJ. Thanks, David! read more

I have SO many awesome things to say about David!!! But I will try to summarize them all as best I can. Firstly, he was awesome to work with from first meeting to last song played at our wedding. He is friendly, easy going and very personable. Other than a few specific songs to play at certain times (bridal processional, first dance etc.) we pretty much gave him free reign to play whatever as long as people were dancing and having a great time. Suffice it to say, our dance floor was jamming until the very last song. He also didn't have the bridal processional song in his repertoire, but was able to hunt it down and download it for me. His job with the lighting was also excellent. Totally fit with the color scheme we were going for, and our whole reception just had an awesome feel and look to it. David was also completely unobtrusive. Even though he was the person basically making introductions and keeping the dance floor bumping, he kept the focus exactly where it needed to be. Thank you David! read more

DJ David Cutler - A good time was had by all!!! - DJs Near Me

Our wedding dance floor was filled and full of smiles (and rockin' bodies) thanks to the amazing DJ David Cutler! I chose David based on so many positive reviews I read online, his affordability and what's included in his packages, and after speaking with him myself, he had the positive energy and attitude I was looking for in a DJ for our event. I told him we had a big mixed family for the wedding - Persian and Mexican mainly - and he was super excited. He was able to answer all of our questions ahead of the wedding, came out to check out the hotel space with us and work on lighting ideas, and was always available whenever we needed to work details out. He has a really helpful website used to organize songs, schedules, etc. for the day of that I found super useful. On the day of our wedding, David was on-time, organized and on point with the music. I appreciated him checking in on me and the groom during the wedding, and he made sure our final few songs were exactly the way we wanted to end the night. Thanks David for being such an awesome addition to our wedding! read more

DJ David Cutler - Our first dance - thanks David for being the best DJ! - DJs Near Me

DJ David crushed it at our wedding. We gave him about 20 songs as a template and he filled in the rest perfectly. He kept people on the dance floor all night. One the one occasion that a song didn't work, I gave him the cut sign and he mixed in the next song flawlessly. There were more than a few people that came up to my wife (that's still weird to say) and I and asked how long we had known David. I thought that was a great compliment since we had only met him a few months earlier. He did a great job keeping the flow of the event moving and made sure the reception was about us and didn't steal the focus at all. Durning the planning, he was quick to respond to emails and was able to have a Skype meeting with us to discuss a few things. He uses DJ Intelligence to let you select the songs you need. It was a great way to give us the ability to be hands on while picking the music for the event. Bottom line, if you're getting you some married, have DJ David be your DJ. read more

David did an amazing job at our wedding! He met with us in person to discuss music and lighting options. We had our reception at a wine cellar and it was a bit dark so we were hoping to light it up a bit and he did an incredible job illuminating the wine barrels. He played all of the music we were hoping to hear and I've honestly never seen so many people dancing and having a great time. We highly recommend him DJ David Cutler to anyone looking to have a fun event! read more
